I'm typing this from scan center!


Went for scan this morning, was told to come back for a repeat by 4pm. So I went back for the repeat scan only to be told that there's fetal node without cardiac activity!

I'm 12wks today but scan says 9wks....Was told it could be a missed abortion, that if that is the case I will have to flush it and start all over again since baby is not progressing! But I should come back in two weeks time to repeat a scan and see how it goes before final conclusion!

It's been a while I log in but i need people to connect with right now because I'm tired of being on my own with no one to share my feelings, having said that I've been pregnant for three years now (lol) what I mean is that 2015, 2016 and 2017, 2015 I was kind of active, 2016 I came back to announce my pregnancy again and many mamas encouraged me and gave their input but i never came back even after I birthed my baby now I'm here again (2017) with another belle, lol.

Pls mamas I need your advice on what to do to avoid subsequent pregnancy and I also need your prayer for safe delivery, I was on family planning but it seems it didn't go with my system.

Babes! Same period I was trying for just one, God just dey busy for your house!!!

Divine proofs! My strength! My first fruit made his grant entrance on Wednesday 4th of October via VD, weighing 3.5kg without tear. God gave me supernatural delivery.

Don't know how to thank you, for the love, the prayers the kind words. Don't know what I would have done without you, honestly. Cos the pain was really too much, was so down, and was doing my best to hide it, so I was bearing it all alone. Thanks for giving me shoulders to cry on. Different kinds of thoughts crossed my mind, just didn't know what to feel anymore.

To the glory of God I feel better. We will change to another hospital. Thankfully, hubby isn't in support of a second evacuation. The bleeding is almost gone. I pray it remains that way.

In all,God bless you all abundantly, you show everyone so much love on this thread. May he always be with you every step through this whole journey.

@patking, prettyhurts, just got back from the hospital, had a scan,doctor said there are blood clots still remaining. Said the uterus is expanded abi can't remember his English again. Was given an injection, he said if the bleeding continues they'll suck it out,and it sounds like another evacuation to me.

Last last,I'm honestly sick and tired of everything,I don't know why all these things are happening to me.

So sorry love,
I would think they should have evacuated whatever is the remnant. What do I know?
I guess they are medical practitioners with experience. I will go for a second opinion else where.

Sorry to disturb, I've been debating with myself whether to disturb you people with this,but I'm confused, don't know if its something normal or not.

Till now I'm still bleeding and recently it got very heavy, so heavy that I use up to three pads a day. Its really really depressing for me. Plus,please sabi mamas,any suggestion for pads that are good for heavy flow (very heavy) always doesn't seem to do it for me anymore, sofy too.

Please help a sister.

I lost the baby.
Missed abortion.
Cyst of 5 cm on the right tube.

Will be going for evacuation.

After evacuation, I will rest for 2 months, treat infection and try again.

Went in for my first official ante-natal today.
Went in with my list of Meds already taking, was asked to continue with them.
Saw my Bean today! Measuring 9weeks3days, short of 4 days.
EDD is April 19th, don't know if it will change.

It was a great day!

1. Garki Specialist Hospital ... my first kid here! Highly professional. Just registered here last week.
2. Federal Medical Centre Jabi... (personal bad experience) when they gave me my scan report reading 75year old male, with Doctor's signature date 2 days after I have my result... I run... I no fit take chances with small labels.
3. Nisa same management with Garki... Good
4. Kubwa General Hospital... i hear theu are food.
5. Wuse... colleaque was happy with them
6. Maitama is same as 5 above.

I be nurse pikin, na public hospital we trust pass for giving birth... as hands will always be available as needs arises. Think am.

Asked my mummy about tying something on my tummy and she chided me saying e be like I don dey see clear,that's why I'm thinking of looking sexy at this stage..please did you tie something,when did you start..

I already bought a postpartum belt,my tummy is coming out instead of going down,I get cunny cunny questions about being pregnant.
Like make my tummy enter,and still maintain this new waist

Yes dearie, mva is more machine like, but you will initiate the procedure by dilating your cervix before going on by the use of medications that will be prescribed... you may pass the Baby your self or the suction machine.

I guess what you had was a D&C... more painful. But faster.

Last month my twin friends from the UK called me and asked me the sex of my Lo, hmm I was surprised because I never told them that I was pregnant but they said they found out through my pictures on facebook and Instagram. I told them the sex is XX and they were like OK.
So this night one of them messaged me and said she's in Nigeria and they got stuffs for my baby and that she's going to try and send them to ekiti or give it to my cousin to bring for me.
I'm so happy because most of the things they bought are what I really needed and haven't gotten yet.

My apologies.
Weekend was super hectic!

Locked my car at work yesterday, manage to get home.
Had to do all the Keke and Okada to do Saturday family runs...
Resumed work again at 4pm!
After the stress.... momma started cramping. I just spread my bed in the restroom and enjoyed a 4 hours sleep... just waking up to a more relaxed Body.

No worries... Hubby dropped me at work and unlocked the car, so I will be perfect by morning.

Sorry to hear about that.
In my case I was given an anal suppository pain reliever to use once the pain is unbearable after the procedure.
Fortunately, I never get to use it, as I followed a medical friend's advice to be on 20mg feldene 3 times a day for 3 days once home (my Risk, doctor didn't prescribe this), please it's my opinion.

You did the right thing by returning to the Hospital with uncertainty, I was advised same.

I went to work the next day... never bled, I was even at a point that I doubted if I was ever pregnant

The evacuation method done was MVA, I don't think it is same as DNC. So I think you should know the exact procedure so as to determine if you need more help.

Please call the Doctor and ask about the Anal pain reliever, or feldene.

In other news, my scan went well n I get to see my lil munchkin's heartbeat. Scan measures 8wks 3days against 9wks 3days according to LMP! EDD is April 30th.

I no know which one to follow sef.

I think they may conclude at 12 weeks... don't know, was pregnant 7 years ago.

Me I stick with my LMP date, until Doctor finally concludes.

Above all, thank God you saw a healthy perfect Bean.

We will make it to term by God's grace.
