MindofChrist: I agree with those who condemned the unprofessional way the journalists handled the issue. I wonder if they really wanted to score some cheap point. The man is definitely ignorant and is not the best to reprsent his organisation, but many Nigerians are equally ignorant of a lot of things they ought to know. I wish this bashing would stop. I will suggest that people who would be interviewed live on national TV should be given an option of having a prior knowledge of the questions so that they can be better prepared. This is not good for the image of the Civil Defence Corps. It is equally bad for the image of the TV Station. I don't think journalists should deliberately embarrass their guests. The embarassment is deliberate and shameful.

as a matter of fact, Mr. Shame (sorry Mr. Shem) put up a brilliant effort at answering the question, being able to start his response with a 'www' shows he's much literate than many others 'at the top'. it'll beat you guys silly to know that many 'oga's at the top' know next to nothing and hardly develop themselves intellectually. most of them can't identify what button to press on a computer to get it started nor do they have an email addy. I've worked in many civil service orgs and I'm sure of what I'm saying here. walk into their offices and 9 times out of 10, they are busy with gossips in vernacular, eating amala or flirting. that's 9ja for you, BTW, it's the dawn of a new era, and surely time and tide will weed them all out. ICT age will surely do justice.

go thru my thread, you'll see a very clean benz c240 (https://www.nairaland.com/1106217/mercedes-benz-avantgarde-875k). I bought that car £2,000 in East London, Shipped it through Grilmaldi in London with £500 (that's £2,500). The cost of clearing it was 235k on arrival. Ask Adexfem a nairalander, he cleared that car. so total: £2,500 + N235k

£2,500 = approx 625k + 235 = N860k, I advertised it initially for a negotiable 1mil, but when I discovered that nobody was making offers, I kept reducing it till it's now for N875k, (just 15k profit), but guess what, it's still there, since August last yr.

some silly guys on nairaland were even bargaining to pay 350k, just ridiculous.

I now wish I hadnt bought it at all. DONT BUY ANY THING CALLED 'RHD CAR'for Nigerians. they are ungrateful. let them continue to buy salvaged scraps from US. Now I understand why they deserve US salvaged junks.

hi, dont try it else u'll regret it. 9ja is flooded and supersaturated with cars from US already. I brought in 2 RHD's and they've been there depreciating. no 1 is even bothering to ask what they are and a few others just make you ridiculous offers because they have a feeling that rhds are unwanted scraps. invest your moni in something else.

@segeonline: I think he interior pix you posted belongs to the first C240, which is now sold. the current one has a leather seat and looks much better. Feel free to take a snapshot of it and upload.
