Garnacho has real potential. His development last year was rapid.

Mainoo was truly a bit conservative and cautious and also, he and Fred kept running into each other. Iqbal would have done better i think because of his sleek passing and because he played 10 a lot as an Under 18. Mainoo is usually deployed as an 8 not the 10 he played yesterday.

I remember when i was complaining about Maguire as a LCB here and people said it didn't matter. Ole was a really useless coach for not picking it up. It was one of the first things both Rangnick and ETH corrected when they took over.

In the long run, we might not get to see all of Hannibal, Iqbal and Mainoo at Utd which is a shame especially if they all live up to their potentials...

Apart from Savage do we have any good holding midfielder coming through the ranks?

Playing from the right makes it easy a lil bit for Maguire tho. Playing from the left makes him a lot slower than he naturally is because he has to turn 160 degrees to make a simple pass.

Garnacho should just keep his head down and put in the hard work and he'll be a world beater. From hus looks, I suspect he puts in a lot into training and that's good for his future...

Mainoo looked a bit nervous and conservative in his approach but with more minutes, he'll get used to the pressure that comes with playing regularly for the first team abd will only get better.

I also noticed that Maguire now releases the ball faster compared to the sluggish Maguire that will dilly dally on the ball in the past couple of seasons. I don't know if it's because he is playing from the right now or if it's something EtH has spoken to him about or it's just brain reset after spending time on the bench...

To be honest, it's tiring seeing those guys spam the thread with Messi's pictures...Of course I was happy that Messi and Argentina finally lifted the world cup but for me, it changed nothing as I already considered Messi as the greatest that ever did it not because of trophies won but his footballing abilities which he deployed on the field of play.

The world win was more for the doubters and those who rode on the bandwagon of 'He has not won the world cup trophy thus cannot be the GOAT'...They have been silenced.

Any Messi fan who is still basking in the euphoria of the win was never really convinced hence the incessant trolling...

ETH switched it up in Ajax. Yes, he used Tadic through the middle in previous seasons but in his last season it was Haller who was used though the middle as a target man.

Also, i am a huge fan of Joao Felix but Tadic playing through the middle in the ere division and the slower paced Champs League is different from using him there in the EPL.
Joao Felix through the middle in the EPL would be a big risk, but if it pays off it would take us to another level. His ceiling is very high.

I am all about the bolded...If we can negotiate better and they lower the loan fee while retaining the clause that gives us first option to buy him in the summer then, I'd say we get him ASAP

How exactly? Erik ten Hag played Tadic through the middle more like a false 9. Felix can play that role superbly...Weghorst is more a target man.
