It's not even that I think Ten Haag can't work. But the hype and the man no match at all. When it comes to Ten Haag most people see only the great things. I mostly see the flaws and risks. The problems I have with Ten Haag.

1) Doesn't come off as really charismatic. If you listen to his interviews and think there's something you're not feeling but can't point it out. It's this. And you can get away with this at Ajax.

2) Ten Haag didn't build that team that got to the final. That's another false narrative drawn out in Ten Haag's favor. From De jong to De ligt to Ziyech to VDB to Neres. Those guys were already there. They make it look like he recruited them.

3) Ajax was in an ascendancy when he came in especially with all those promising players. They got to the Europa league final a year before Ten Haag was appointed. Even with wack Peter Bosz. Those player were already coming in and were about to enter their prime. We all saw their quality and style of play in that final. What saved us was poor finishing and naivity from Ajax.

4) There's an established structure at the club which Ten Haag met and worked with. From the academy, youth recruitment, everything. Structure that's non existent at this club. Structure that Ten Haag hasn't proved at any point he can establish.

It's better you spend your energy promoting Poch than trying to run down ten Hag abi you no get anything to tell us about Poch?

It's like those silly folks in the politics section that rather abuse Tinubu instead of promoting their preferred choice for President...
