Please someone should come and whisper to me about Huan Mata's agility and stamina while he was a key player at Chelsea
Shaolin soccer managers...na only gri-gri footy dem like
Some persons rather have McTominay that will have score 8/10 once in 20 games whilst scoring 3/10 in the remaining 19 games rather than a player that gives you 6/10 15 times out of 20...
I am not even saying VDB is too good but when you look at those who have had more game time than him, you begin to ask questions of our coaches...
ChristoBam: Brighton Fvcking lost 3-0 to Burley at home. Is it until we hire him and things go south, you people will start dragging out those results? He's not good enough for us simple. He plays good football with a midtable club doesn't even cut it at all..
And I didn't even talk about potter mainly because of yesterday's result. I talked about him because I saw a video made by the United stand yesterday morning about Man Utd hiring Potter. Saw the result and remembered the shit.
Well, Potter is nobody's favorite so calm down...
If we want to pull out crazy results then no manager will be worth it...
Arsenal seem to have perfected the art of winning against mid-bottom table teams in their quest for a top 4 finish whilst Spurs even though inconsistent have the quality to be in always with a chance. We can't afford to drop any more points...
Maguire should have been benched for Lindelof...Players who are underperforming should not be rewarded with a starting berth, it sends the wrong signals.
afrodoc2: I don't know much about Pioli. What are his strengths and weaknesses.
For me
1) Erik ten Hag
2) Marco Rose
3) Marcelo Gallardo
I like Potter but i don't want any British manager at this point. The truth is i don't any of the managers you and i listed will succeed with the dysfunctional structure at United.
Pioli has managed to make Milan fairly competitive again with limited resources.
At this point, I prefer a Manger whose team is renowned for playing as a unit, one that maximizes the individual strength of each play. I understand that ten Hag for instance is working in a well structured Ajax set up and might struggle here but I am hoping that Rangnick will have considerable influence on the decision making of the board going forward...
You’ve forgotten the “make e no spoil for my hand” football VDB was always playing whenever he gets on the pitch.
The others are also struggling but they have what VDB don’t- stamina (McTom) and agility (Fred). And he can’t pass the ball like Matic either.
It’ll be detrimental to the team if you play VDB ahead of them, especially when what VBD has isn’t required in large doses in relation to what he doesn’t have.
You always try to make cases for players purely for emotional reasons.
See, there’s no need to long this talk.
VDB will get his chances at Everton. It’s left to him to grab it with both hands.
For his and United’s sake, I pray he starts ticking.
That's how you guys will overrated the effort of McFred but underrate the efforts of the ones you don't like. McFred see a lot of minutes because they allegedly protect the defense which is ironical when you see the numbers of shots De Gea has faced and goals we have conceded even when De Gea has been in beast mode...
Matic? Lol...
I am sure if the likes of Tiago, Gubdogan, Bernardo Silva etc were our players, the likes of Ole will have them rotting on the bench because they're physical specimens and you'd gladly support their decision...
The argument was that VDB is a fantastic player. He’s not just given enough run of games in the league because the coaches didn’t like him or something.
I called bullsh*t. When he’s been called upon he’s been underwhelming. What evidence is there that he’ll pick up form after playing consistently, while the team gets weakened?
When he left for Everton I was happy for him. It was time to prove everyone wrong.
His first game was okay but now we’re seeing flashes of the real VDB. Not because Everton lost yesterday but because his performance was poor. He seems to have no idea what’s expected of him on the pitch.
My Position has always been that he’s an intelligent player but still needs to improve some core areas of his game to shine in an EPL team.
Overall, it’s a win for Utd if he improves that aspect of his game. Until then, mo sorry.
How many games did VDB play for us for you to come to this conclusion? Please draw our attention to those games he was underwhelming...You seem not the appreciate the rhythm that comes with getting a consistent run of games. Imagine sitting on the bench for 6-7 games and then the coach selects you and other bench warmers to execute a dead rubber game, how then do you expect to get your rhythm going? Or a scenario where he comes on and does well to the approval of the fans yet he finds himself glued to the bench in the next match.
If you want to talk about players who have been given chances yet continue to underperformed then you should be talking Rashford, Martial, McFred, Maguire, Shaw etc and not VDB...
Leyqute: Come on. You’re smarter than this to be uttering this sort of gibberish. Being logical =/= ole fanboy.
I also supported Mourinho when he was appointed until things started going south.
Am I also a Mou Fanboy?
So, what informed your post on VDB?
You couldn't stand the fact that he was praised last week thus you had to come here to highlight his and Everton's poor performance...
Wanna know why I called you a fan boy? From your post, you seem to be siding the decision of Ole and Rangnick to bench him just to spite those who think the manager were wrong in their assessment of him or didn't give him enough time.
afrodoc2: The Man Utd job is a poisoned chalice. Great managers come here and are proven to be over the hill while upcoming managers come and prove to be not ready for the job.
Who would be your top 3 realistic targets for the job at this moment.
1. Erik ten Hag
2. Stefano Pioli
3. Graham Potters...
I have limited my choices to realistic targets that's why you won't find Enrique, Zidane and the likes up there...
weedtaker: What is wrong with potter? His team plays good football, if we are getting a British manager it should be him and not Rodgers.
I, personally would prefer him to manage Manchester United if we can’t get the Ajax manager.
I just weak. Maybe each time Brighton wins we should drop alert here which is not necessary.
Brighton play very good football. Their undoing most times is poor finishing.
We couldn't beat Burnley with all the quality in our squad yet someone wants to drag Potter losing to Burnley...Anyway, the fact that Potter is being talked about is a pointer to the fact that Brighton are punching above their weight.
popizaino: Have never seen a more direct player than KDB in my life, man is about end product, no time for champange football. Space, open, pass, take, give and shoot when the need be.
KDB and Messi are the best best when it comes to direct football...
They make the right decisions 8 times out of 10...
Leyqute: But if he’d scored you’d be updating us with his total assists and goal stats na…. To cover up for his 0.2 league goals
How many times have you seen me talking about Messi's performance here?
It's you guys that started dragging him that's why when he scored against City I came here to ask if Dias and Laporte are farmers...
Messi is the greatest for me, if you think otherwise then that's your opinion, stop trying to drag me into a never ending debate, I no get time to waste...
WikiGuru: This is my first comment here, in over two years.
You are so very far from the truth if you claim that this bridge connects Nigeria with Cameroon. The bridge begins from the other end of Ikom(Ikom town) and merely crossed the Ikom stream, linking with Yala Ikom and heading to Obubra. Just stop misleading people here. I know this because I am from there. I lived in Four-Corners.
The guy is referring to the new bridge linking Nigeria and Cameroon which was financed by AFDB. The Bridge is even at Etung and not Ikom however, you are right on this one, the bridge in question leads directly into Ikom main town and has since been completed. It's very beautiful.
Note that this bridge leads to Cameroon and would increase trade between Nigeria and the neighboring country.
I remember the noise made over the Railway leading to Niger and how some people ignorantly said it was due to tribe. I guess the people here are also Fulani.
The Bridge you are talking about was financed by AFDB or thereabout and links Nigeria to Cameroun however, the one the Op is talking about is different, it leads directly into Ikom main town.
obiekunie01: see how ndi ugwu just take southern people head dey play kalo-kalo!
The idiot shehu was emphasing on amechi\s recomendation of a Buhaari's choice candidate to use that to make souths beleive that amaechi's opinion is what maters to bubu so we will not look at the FACT THAT ALL THE PORTS ARE IN THE SOUTH AND YET IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN HEADED BY NORTHERNERS!
NOW SEE HOW THE MUMU SOUTHERNERS ARE BUSY DEBATING WHO IS BUBU'S CHOICE CANDIDATE WHILE THE NORTHERNERS ARE LAUGHING THEIR ASS OUT!
SOUTH IS THE MOST FOOLISH REGION IN NIGERIA!
FEAR NORTH AND POLITICS!
You are spot on...
They are only using Amaechi's name to avoid any possible backlash from the South...
yemite100: I was not even allowed to talk,. I tried to explain myself but was forced out of the community...
Are you sure the chairman has not gotten reports of your confrontational approach before the said incident?
I have had experiences with some vigilantes, I know some of them see it as a channel to make money by demanding for money before allowing people in.
If you were polite in your approach and still got fired, then I must say I feel your pain but if the reverse is the case, you should learn a lesson from your experience.
afrodoc2: Nobody is passing judgment. I am just pained at the wickedness of Messianic faithfuls that knew about the crunch penalty miss and refused to alert the rest of us that don’t have cable.
O wrong nau!
Oga Patrick!! O wrong nau!!!
I brought to your notice the win...1 leg in the quarters already...
