True, we always start games like we are a goal up already, if we are winning a match with let's say a goal margin, be sure that we shall be under pressure in the last 20 minutes because we can't control a game even if our lives depends on it.

The reason I was excited when RR was appointed is because I was optimistic that we will improve the tempo of our play but it's been proving a herculean task as of now. It's a bit early but the signs are not evident if I must be honest...

At this point it is best to infer that the club has no plans to splash the cash as nothing points to that however, it will be quite sad if they finally do but opt to strengthen any other position but the center of our midfield (DM)

We can't be fluid in attack with our midfield but we were scoring goals for fun last season. A lot of games we go a goal down and we're certainly coming back in that game. Only problem is we conceeded a lot of goals.

Not saying we were perfectly fluid but we were effective in attack. We had no problem scoring goals against any opponet.

Bruno- 45 goal contribution for United last season.
Rashford- 36 goal contribution for United last season..
Greenwood- 18 goal contribution for United last season.
Cavani- 23 goal contribution for United past season.

Now all these players are useless and lazy abi.

Which team doesn't do comebacks? I am sure even Brighton can point to at least 4 times they came back from a losing position last season. The point is simple; where did the comeback and perceived mentality land us? How many trophies?

Ours is a dysfunctional unit that why you can have players pose such fantastic stats yet the team ends up winning nothing. How many players at Chelsea pose same stats yet Chelsea have been more successful over the past couple of years because they have a more functional unit with players who are more consistent across the pitch...

As I have always said, stats killed the beautiful game...For instance, if I told you Bruno has played some of his best football over the past couple of weeks away from scoring or assisting, so many folks might want to disagree...I have actually seen him more composed in possession, he picks his passes carefully of late and if not for the poor form of our forwards, he'd have been behind so many goal scoring moves...

This Ronaldo matter suppose don tire everybody. I hope he leaves at the end of the season. He is a top 3 best player of all time but his acquisition messed up the team's attacking chemistry.

Three major things,

1. His build up play is shiit, same with Cavani

2. He tends to make pressure inducing passes to the midfield or sometimes fullback that messes up attacking plays

3. He took away the freedom giving to Greenwood to shoot whenever he is free. Ronaldo can be seen getting mad whenever Greenwood does not pass to him when he is on goal. The crazy thing is that he does the same thing that he complains about.

The team's build up play is actually shit...I have seen just 2 forwards pressure our defenders and next they balloon the ball. In midfield it is worse. The attack is the one department that contributes the least to build up play. Ronaldo is not renowned for his build up play as a CF, he has always been that fast winger with good finishing and skills. All that is expected of Ronaldo is to finish off chances, keep the CBs busy and occasionally assist in the build up play especially when teams are defending deep.

He has tried in scoring the number of goals he has scored thus far taking into consideration the fact that we struggle to create goal scoring chances as a team.

With regards to pressing, he has been excellent, I have seen him put in a shift every time he has played even more than Rashford and Greenwood who are much younger...

As I explained above, his build up play was never going to be great, he has never been the best in tight spaces...

As regards our other attackers, I don't see how he has affected them, Greenwood still shoots whenever he has a chance to shoot even when others are better positioned with or without Ronaldo on the pitch and I feel that's an aspect of his game he needs to improve just so he can be less predictable...I will accept this argument if we have seen our other forwards pass to Ronaldo even when they themselves are in a better position to score but it has not been the case...

I think Ronaldo is rightly demanding too much from our lazy players...They have been so used to performing inconsistently that it's a big problem for them to have someone demand that they bring their A game to the field of play every match day...Let's not forget that whist Rashford posed those good looking stats, he was actually playing trash, even Bruno was guilty of giving the ball away one too many times in a bid to rack up assist. Also, if my memory serves me right, Greenwood struggled to score at some point last season and we didn't have Ronaldo in the team then.

In summary, I think most of our forward players are off form and not necessarily down to the presence of Ronaldo...I also accept that Ronaldo shouldn't be starting every game but then, with the other forwards firing blank, the coach will be stupid to drop Ronaldo at this point.
