Haba!

This guy is talking based on comments made by Jose and not what he observed personally na. Look at the bold part
So what context are you building your opinion from or Have you heard from Shaw himself? Jose works with the lad and like other coaches who have coached the lad, they all have said spewed similar lines...

Jose is all about results....football is a results based business...and he consistently gets results....this chap called jose is not actually a "youth hater"...I have dropped an article here before that captured every youth player that jose has developed or given opportunities throughout his career...even balotelli became a brief star at inter due to joses guidance of him into the 1st team as well as in Europe! I feel Jose expects a young player to be exceptional before he can be trusted with regular starts! Is he the only one guilty of this? No!

1 Ferguson and rooney!

2 Ferguson and ronaldo!

3 Wenger and fabregas!

4 All barca coaches and messi! Etc!

5 Jose and carlos Alberto and varane (porto/real)

No coach would not have utilized these players in their prime but their are also countless examples of budding stars who when given the chance on the big stage failed to impress! You are the only chelsea fan that was actually unhappy when lukaku was sold and that is why I never give you the business over the chap but you must admit lukaku always did better on loan than at chelsea! Why? Don Didier as well as chelsea mechanic style of soccer which never played to HIS strengths maybe?

He hardly ever played well and most chelsea fans never gave a _fuck when he was sold in 2014, most of you were even questioning his attitude back then so why now use this same lukaku pankere to trash jose? And I did not hear most of you cry over lukaku or youth when he was winning the league for you without lukaku too! As for hazard that _twat is still suffering from a serious case of bad belle-itis! So conte trusts players? So when he was winning the league under joses guidance and also collecting his player of the year gong under jose it was as a result of the mistrust jose had for him abi? It seems you have also been afflicted with that particular virus! Kdb was also injury prone while @ chelsea so why is he wailing? They both need to stfu!

Jose is a motivator! Martial and shaw need to wake the _fuck up like mikky did! If you believe he is benching them because they are young then you are on a long thing! He is trying to bring out the best in them! It's tough love...Martial even appreciates it but most of Luke Shaws past coaches have said the guy is just a proper ajebo that needs a lot of smooching! Well no time for that at manchester! We pay and expect you to jam immediately! No crime in that! As for mata...he was great at chelsea maybe due to chelseas languid style...I still don't rate him at manchester or even feel he is a united type player! Too slow, too nice and misses a lot of easy chances..he is a good squad player..nothing more!
Bros you get energy sha! I back off arguments when it's obvious that it isn't gonna have a headway, just back and forth.
To be honest, the same Shaw and Martial that he is on about have been criticized on this board with several posters angling for the sale of Shaw, so I don't really get his point or is Jose supposed to continue playing them even when they're not delivering just so that he can be tagged a youth friendly coach?
Mata for all his talent isn't exactly suited to the fast paced game we are craving for, he is a good player but not exceptional.
On Lukaku, his case is quite similar to that of Thiago Alcantara when he was at Barca, fantastic talent but he had better players ahead of him at that time, so it was a case of staying knowing you'll get little game time or leaving for first team football and he opted to leave. Now should Barca fans look back and say Thiago is posting better numbers than Iniesta thus they made a bad decision letting him go? Absolutely no...

Secondly, Lukaku was top scorer in Belgium at the age of 16. His transfer fee of 17 million for a 16 year old already tells me that Chelsea knew he was special.

It was actually 155 minutes spread out over 8 league apps. That's less than 20 minutes a game.

Most strikers need around 120 minutes of continuous gametime to score a goal. You play some one for 155 minutes across an entire season and you sat he looks out of depth?

You no sabi ball.
It didn't take 20min for me to know Ronaldo was special when Man Utd played that friendly match with Sporting, your touch, control in tight space etc is enough for me...As per whether I sabi ball or not, it's your headache

Who were the players ahead of Lukaku?

Torres who was a waste pipe then, Instead of trusting Lukaku, Mourinho rather bought Etoo who he called over 50 after Etoo he brought back Drogba who was retiring in China. If you dont trust young players how will they show their ability.

Like Busquets had Yaya Keita ahead of him but he was still trusted, Pique had a lot of older players ahead of him but was given the chance

BTW the point you made was to point to the players Mourinho refused to use and became good elsewhere and there you have it KDB and Lukaku

Both of them are 25yrs and younger and each of them in current market each of them will go for 70M Euros each
Well, same Pep ditched Dino, Deco and later on Eto, it had more to do with his ideology and their professional conduct than purely footballing terms...

Exactly, how do you play KDB when you have Mata, Lampard etc or Lukaku who couldn't control a pass to save his life and up till now, his ball control and ability to maneuver in tight spaces is still not up to standard, he is just a big fish in a small pond, expose him to the ocean waters and he will disappear...

So you knew that yet you posted the below
Let's be realistic here, Lukaku had better players ahead of him and until now, he still divides opinions on the Chelsea thread, some don't want him back because to them he isn't technical enough and it's the truth...
At Everton, their system is set up to favour him but at Chelsea or any other big club, he would have less of space to operate cos most of the time, he will come up against teams that have men behind the ball and his technical deficiency will be exposed.
KDB also had a lot of players ahead of him that were relatively better as at that time so his case was more of him being impatient than Mou refusing to trust him...It's not compulsory to promote youth players for the sake of it, even Barcelona will find it difficult to get another Xavi/Iniesta/Messi off la masia just as we will have to wait a long while to get another Neville, Giggs, Scholes etc off our academy

Why are you looking for the gain in all this??
Most times coaches don't play youth players because they are good enough...
When you have a dead game with little consequence on your season then it doesn't matter if the player is good enough
When you lead 5-0 with 10mins to go, it doesn't matter if the guy is good enough

Most times you don't really know if the youth players are good enough until you let them feel the pressure in a real game
You think Fergie thought Macheda was good enough?
Or Carlo thought Hutchinson was good enough

Jose doesn't play youth because he doesn't like to play youth, he is so insecure
Jose would rather play Zouma as a CF than play the highest scoring winger in our Academy. ...True life story o

NOW LET'S ASSUME JOSE PLAY YOUTH ONLY WHEN THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH

Are you saying Mensah that was good enough to play against Arsenal, Spurs and City last season isn't good to play against Zorya and Hull(after a 2-0 win in the first leg)

You can't throw the 'good enough' cardagainst Mensah, Rashford, Shaw and Co when you have Darmian, Jones, Fellaini and Rooney playing regularly

When the pressure of promoting a youth player got to Jose at Chelsea, he picked RLC who isn't even top 5 ballers in his team .
Don't tell me Jose only play the youth players that are good enough,if that was the case we would have Baker and Christiensen in our team and not RLC and Zouma

You must be the only person in the world who didn't know Jose used Varane to piss off Ramos earlier in the season especially against City, then he used him to stick it to Pepe when he turned against him

Mourinho just left Chelsea do you don't expect Conte to have promoted a lot of youth players, so I can't gives you names.......But in 3 years time I will

For the first time in years we had like 4 youth players on the pitch together in a game, Under Jose even if he played a youth player he would remove him before bringing in another one

A Mourinho that couldn't bear a 18 year old CF scoring double digits goals for average teams just because he lost a penalty,is that the Jose that will help Rashford?

It's so cute when United fans try to argue with Chelsea fans about Jose.....He is many things but not a youth guy
No, it's cute when a Chelsea fan that swore to the gods of his village to defend Mourinho flip flops...Guy, I asked you how many Chelsea youngsters have gone on to do big things since Mourinho left taking into consideration his first and second spell with Chelsea but you've gone mute, whyhuh I think I know why, none...
With the current state of things at United, it is almost impossible to give any game time to youth players cos the pressure to get back amongst Europe's elites is strong enough to destroy the carrier of any youngster if things go south.
When we get back to where we belong, then we can start giving the academy lads a look in...
All in all, trust me, the fans on these board care more about our youth than you so if there was any cause for concern, they'd have raised it first but still, thanks for your concern though it was unappreciated.

You see your problemhuh(na joke o grin), check my post again, I said There was a time when we saw teams like Anderlecht as an opportunity to rest players, but unfortunately we now field our first team against such teams and come back to complain of fatigue , honestly, I don't think we should have fielded our first eleven against rostov, there are guys who clean the bench everyday waiting for an opportunity to prove themselves... or do we now pay £200,000 -£50,000 for bench warminghuh
Peruse through the Barca thread, you'll see how they complain each time they lose a match due in most part to squad rotation...You need to accept that times have changed, the days when the very top reams can afford to rest their first team and still make light weight of their opponents is long gone, the pressure for results nowadays means there's little space for a coach to try new things or blood in just about any player.
