If Martial and Shaw keep their heads down and listen to Mourinho, they're gonna make it really big in the game...The man is doing all he can to help them grow... In the half time break of extra time against Anderlecht, Mou was doing his best to fire Martial on, dude should keep pushing, he is gonna be great. |

jonsnow92: Point of Order..The team was never built around Neymar..It has always been about Leo Messi..Enrique just lacks ideas on how to build a team around Leo Effectively..Give Pep 5 airmarks and 5 Andre Gomes along side Messi he'll still win Champions league! I watch almost all Barca games cos it's my second team, with Neymar on the pitch, Messi sees less of the ball, how is that not building the team around him? All the plays goes through Neymar, sometimes, it's like they only remember Messi when the going gets tough for Neymar...Meesi should see more of the ball, he remains the most dangerous player in the team whether it's scoring or creating chances or drawing defenders out of position. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by patrickmuf(m): 10:24pm On Apr 23, 2017 |
To be honest, if you dissect Barca's game play today, you'd see something close to the great performances that we have come to associate with Barca except of course for the defensive lapses...THey moved the ball faster and were more threatening because Messi saw a lot of the ball... I tend to agree with Chelseafan1 here, Neymar takes too many unnecessary touches and sometimes overcooks the final ball...The team should be built around Leo, he should see more of the ball and watch how deadly Barca is going to become again. On the side note, Suarez has been very wasteful, his finishing is off, his touches poor etc |

Not all Manchester United fans blindly follow Ronaldo... Messi is better than Ronaldo as far as I am concerned and yes, I am forcing my opinion on y'all, Messi is better... Spartial awareness, team play, dribbling, scoring etc It doesn't matter if CR7 goes on to lift the UCL, he just doesn't have the tools to compete with the Man, the phenomenon, and the player, Lionel Messi...Take a bow son.
Props to S. Roberto, his drive for that winner was awesome. |

So you think the decision Judas took to betray Jesus was as a result of choice rather than a predetermined event bound to happen in order to fulfil the prophecy? When the bible says he knows your end from the very beginning, do you really think whatever happens to you is under your control? |

SetrakusRa: static ibra? Just because of Rashford's impressive display against Chelshit and Anderlecht, he's already above ibra.
A striker on his debut season already has 28 goals. We never had such in the last 3 seasons. Some are already calling it a blessing in disguise.
We're without are top hitman and it'll pull us back sometimes this season whether we like it or not. Na wa o! Why is it so difficult for some of us to understand a post, I have defended Ibra here severally but in this case (Match against City where you have a Kompany who is not very mobile together with Otamendi and Jones who are equally slow) I only suggested it's better to have a mobile and more pacy Rashford to Ibra who is more static and covers less ground but you choose to interpret it that I meant Rashford was better...Na real wa! |

AdisaOwala: Mourihno would most likely set the team up to counter attack & I wouldn't blame him it happens that way...
IMO, the only way we could stand a chance of getting anything outta that game would be for us to score 1st, soak up more pressure and hope to consolidate on the lead whenever we get to break forward.
If City should score 1st ehn, that game don cast be that oh Well, we just have to hope, I reckon it's because we scored first we were able to play our game against Chelsea. However, if the lads show the same determination as they did against City, anything is possible |

elampiro: The injuries came at a time we needed everyone fit. Luke Shaw will have his time now. He will compensate for Blind's lack of height and aerial ability.
Funso Mensah should be our first back to Bailly and Blind.
We have to pray that no one gets injured again.
Old age is old age. Ibrahimovic injured because he was pushing it harder than what his body can accommodate. He jumping very high with all his strength trying to help win the game.
May be we can rush Smalling back. I don't know his return date. His injury has nothing to do with his age, he landed awkwardly and that's it, similar to Zouma's injury |

SetrakusRa: Here's my prediction to our final league games
Burnley W Man City L Swansea W Arsenal W Tottenham L Southampton W Crystal Palace D
13pts! i think we can gather about 12-15pts from the remaining 21. Would that even be enough to get us to top four? There's no way we will lose to City especially with the static Ibra out...City like Chelsea won't be able to deal with the movement and pace we will parade upfront. |

SIRcumalot: his an aerial threat, his link up play is the best among all our forward and who knows how many other intangibles don't just look at the negatives. I like rashidi as well as anybody and am excited for how e go take attack this opportunity but I would still rather have Zlatan lead till season ending. People tend to only see the negatives in Ibra's game, thankfully you've highlighted his strength which I think is clear enough for all to see, Rashford is most definitely the future however, he still has a lot to learn like when to pass, slow down, accelerate etc I am very optimistic that 3 years from now, Rashford will be among the best in the business and that's if the English press don't ruin him. |

joeace2020: Dembele and Wayanma eat fellaini for dinner? Like really? After what he has played in the last few matches. So you think having slow players against pacy players is how to beat tottenham? Is that what you understood from my post? I am only suggesting that we mix things up, pace, power and brains against Spurs... |

joeace2020: Why are you talking as if this is not tottenham we are talking of. They were outdone before and will again. With different personnel though, put Fellaini in midfield and watch Dembele and Wanyama eat him for dinner. Against Spurs, we need the likes of Carrick, Mhkitaryan and possibly Ibra cos pace for pace, they'll most likely match up with us and even win so a bit of brain should do. |
