moremi2008: My rules about this issue are pretty straight forward. I know my mother well, her strengths and weaknesses. My role as a man, son and husband is to allow my future wife to get to know my mum well too so she knows how to treat her and vice versa. I simply cannot marry a woman that doesn't get along with my Mum. It's non-negotiable for me. Once a girl start acting funny and starts making stupid in-law jokes, she's out.

its a very difficult matter especially when u r d type that takes no nosense even from ur own mother & sibblings, u get married & they expect u to a saint.

In my case, even though i ve a large family, i didn't like a crowded house, i moved out at a very young age to squat wt a friend, then i got my own apartment until i got married. I just loved my privacy!

I had to tell my hubby i didnt want family members to live wt us, both his & mine but now d pressure to keep one family member or d other is really pressing on him.

He didnt do his homework well b4 getting married. In my brother's case u dare not impose anyone on him, he clearly told us his not responsible for anyone except his children

i couldnt agree less wt u guys ve said bt still yet, like someone suggested, we cant close our eyes in order for a bad person to pass thereby missing d good person as well. For instance, @ a time i was so desperate i need a means make money; be it a regular job,biz or just anything, i was sendg my contacts any1 dat cld send me any info, honouring invitation for seminars. Most of them seemed like scams,some seemed real bt difficult to work, bt then one day i came across one dat got me excited, i got involved & since then i ve watched my life changed 4 beta.

So now tell me, what if i ve looked completely away. calling everything scams wtout even finding out.

candy: I'm opening a supermarket/cosmetic store in Ibadan in a few weeks but apart from the regular sales reps who can supply a part of my supermaket stock, I have no idea where or how to stock the cosmetic section and even the rest of the supermarket. I thought it was going to be easy, but hell,no! If you know where I can get good quality products at very good rates, please let me know.

Or is christanity now based on assumptions! i can even say we r just robots to God, he uses us as he pleases, we can do what we like when its convienient for him & when its not, he threatens us wt hell fire, then there is no freewill: (i will have mercy on whom i will have mercy on, he hardened pharoh's heart nt to let d isrealites go, etc) In the midst of all these confusion, i will still go to church maintaining my regular back seat.

Genesis 5:4 explains that adam begat sons and daughters, because the bible didn't talk about the other sons and daughters doesn't mean they did not exist, apostle john made us know why all things can't be recorded because the world itself wouldn't contain the books that should be written(john 21:25), so cain must have married one of his sisters since at that time inbreeding wasn't a sin. And you should note that the bible never said cain was the first born but first man(genesis 4:1) S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ its possible that he had elder sisters and probably younger once(not sure), but that's by the way, what you should note is that cain and abel were not the only children of adam but that he had sons and daughters(gen 5:4) and cain must have married one of his sisters since inbreeding was not yet declared sin until the time if moses, God bless you.

hello everyone, its been a while i last visited wt nwangap as id, cldnt log in wt dat name on my phone so i had to register again.

I'm so sorry readg what some of u r still going through, i implore u not to worry too much cos our God is still faithful, he'll do it @ his time, just keep trustg him & take care of ur own part 'medically' & dont stop prayg.

I know its difficult but pls dont be tempted to visit people who promises to give what they dont have. I've heard of people who compounded their problems by visiting such place, i myself had a narrow escape!

If u can find my earlier posts, i was just few months in marriage, d pressures had started coming,friends advicing on where to seek solution, in-laws insistd i visit a particular prophet, my hubby bought d idea, he convinced me & i followed him bt d prophet said i will come & stay there 4 3days & go through some stupid rituals that will require washing of stomach, i refused & we had a probem dat lasted 4 two wks,he came & left d hse wtout talkg to me or eatg my food,after two wks, he said he wanted to talk, i insisted we go 4 extensive medical check up to start wt,b4 den we were doing test here & there spendg d little money we had. So he agreed & i asked 4 some time, until after i've seen my menses 4 dat cycle since i always do my pt every cycle myself. So we were waitg, i was late, i didnt want to check 2 avoid d usual disappointmnt, bt den one morning while brushg, i had d urge to throw up, immediately i did my pt, & d result was different from previous onse, i didnt know what i felt, even when i told him, he didnt say anything, i guess he didnt believe it until we confirmed it.

I had a very good pregnancy, bt @ delivery time i dont know what happened & i was delivered through cs, it hurts me cos i never planed 4 dat, worst stil is dat they never gave me any good reason why it happened den i regretted using d general hospital, bt to God be d glory i came out wt my son who is already 7months old now.

When i hold my baby, i imagine hw life wuld ve been in dis marriage wtout him. It gives me insight of what so many women r going through,especially when most of d pains r caused by our fellow women.

I feel ur pains & i know our God will answer all ur prayers in no distant time.

i'm a christain but always confused abt all these unexplained teachings of d bible, moreso when preachers giv different meanings to d same verses & 'books' i know we ve been told all things r nt meant to be understood bt @least certain things shld've been clarified to avoid all these confusion.

It seems like those folks in old testament enjoyed more than us, they were afraid of judgement as a result of choices they made since there was no law guiding them, bt then i wonder how Cain & Abel got their wives since they were d only children of Adam&Eve @ d time!
