How predictable! The exact same cards they played in 2015 and 2019 to enthrone a grossly incompetent president. Today we're all paying for the stupidity of a few narrow-minded dingbats who are unable to see beyond their noses. In 2023, Nigerians will not be deceived. 1 Like |

Whiteangel1234: You're wise. Anybody who thinks the north is going to relinquish power in 2023 has not been paying attention to recent events. Actually, it is not the North, it's not even Buhari, it's the cabal in aso rock. All the policies being rolled out from the centre recently are policies aimed at consolidating power hold at the centre and destroying everything that might constitute a rallying point for mass opposition. You only do that when you plan on holding on to power for a very long time. |

Exactly the argument I had with a fellow the other day. Nigerians will support and vote in the most incompetent and unqualified characters into positions of leadership, and in their frustrations when things turn bad for them they would turn around and blame pastors and the church. The worst of them are the so called social media influencers and self-professed political gurus who make their living from 'political boi-boi' to these politicians. |

kingzizzy:That's the general assembly. I'm talking about a chapter for the south-south Igbos, as there're state chapters in the south-east. An ikwerre man being the Secretary-General of ohaneze doesn't really mean much for the type of politics currently being played in the south-south. |

SlayerForever: But there's a general assembly and there're state chapters. I'm talking about a chapter for the south-south Igbos. Unless you're saying it already exists. In that case, I would say they need to do a better job of putting up a united front in the region. |
Politics / Re: Igbo Or Ijaw, Who Owns Opobo? by paulemi(m): 11:34am On Aug 27, 2020 |
Igboid: I don't know about those groups you mentioned being igbophobic, but if they are, then I agree rejecting them would be the best thing to do. But then, what about the other igbo groups in the region? I believe all these politics around their identities, for most of these igbo groups in the south-south, is about survival. So far, they've never really had a united front and as such are individually perceived as minorities. It shouldn't be so. Politics in the region is not like it is in the south-east. With the low-key distrust for anything Igbo and as long as these groups remain individual minorities, it'll remain political wisdom to deny their identities and join other larger groups in the region. 1 Like |

There should be an ohaneze ndigbo for all igbo groups in the south-south region. It's primary aim should be to promote the igbo identity and unify all Igbos in the region and protect their interests. By the sheer size of Igbos in south-south, they should be able to match any other group in that region, and stop being easy picks. Current Ohaneze cannot do this from outside, because it'll be seen as an incursion into the politics of the region. There's nothing like Igboid. Igbo is igbo, though with many clans. 2 Likes |

Igbochief001: You've only left the real thing and gone on pursuing shadows. Are pastors not some of the most vocal people against perceived bad governments? But you would prefer they're left at the mercies of occultists in government to hush them finally? How does this move solve your many problems? |
Politics / Re: Islamization Agenda: The Plot To Control Church Finance And The Top Targets by paulemi(m): 4:42pm On Aug 18, 2020 |
Igbochief001: Your politicians contributed the most to whatever situation it is the country is in. Everything you put up there only thrives because of the failure of your politicians. Religion is not your problem. Christians are not your problem. Face your leaders and hold them accountable for the rot in the system. |
Politics / Re: Islamization Agenda: The Plot To Control Church Finance And The Top Targets by paulemi(m): 4:17pm On Aug 18, 2020 |
Igbochief001: Number 3 is the lie that has been fed people using the media. Is Nigeria more developed than Rome? The entire essence of vatican city is built around religion. Even the USA, until maybe only recently, has always been one of the most religious countries in the world. Isreal is also one of the most religious countries in the world. And the list goes on. Did religion stop all these countries from developing? Is religion keeping your roads bad? Is it the reason you don't have good electricity supply? Your leaders only discovered how easy it is to keep the people divided and their voices supressed using religion and tribe. Now they're taking steps to destroy everything that represents a rallying point for the people. Have you asked yourself why? Open your eyes. 3 Likes |

adekolaelect: Three very strategic moves have been made by this government in the last 3 months or so; moves aimed to surpress the people's voice and pave way for their eventual plan. People like you will not see the evil in all these until it hits you right in the face: 1.) The de-registration of socio-cultural organisations like oduduwa, ohaneze, etc 2.) The attempts to clamp down on the media using policies on hate speech. 3.) This new CAMA policy in an attempt to control the church, and other NGOs. The people making the contributions are not complaining. Leave the church alone. 1 Like |

Health / Re: What They Are Not Telling You About 5G by paulemi(m): 11:45pm On Apr 06, 2020 |
The debate on this topic has tired me, seriously. Most people saying 5G cannot be harmful either do not have all the facts or have been quoting information from old physics texts about ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, bla bla bla. Trust is we cannot categorically tell if this pandemic the world is facing is caused by 5G radiation. There is no scientific evidence to prove that, but there isn't any to prove otherwise either. But we will stick with what we do know. 1.) Prolonged exposure to radio frequency EMR has been proven to pose a health risk to humans. It's a fact. It's even written in your mobile phone manual. There have been lots of studies done to investigate the posible effects of long-term exposure to RF on humans. Here's one of such: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5028475/ This study was done to investigate the effects of long-term exposure to 2G radiations from one mobile phone on mice. 2.) The millimetre wave (MMW) frequency is part of the frequency spectrum of 5G. It has a frequency range of between 28GHz and 300GHz. For 4G, that range is some where between 750mHz to 2500mhz. Because of the much higher frequency of 5G (100X that of 4G) it has a much shorter wavelength, because higher frequency also means shorter wavelength. The shorter wavelength of 5G means the signals cannot travel far, so they're building the masts very close to each other and installing small 5G cells close to people's homes. 3.) A 4G station in an area can support between 3500 to 4100 devices per km2. 5G will do 1million. What this means is that the 5G interface is built to support 1million connected devices per km2 of a geographical area. Think about the amount of radiation from all those devices concentrated in a small location with people. And soon we'll hearing there's 6G too. 4.) Communities where 5G infrastructure have been deployed already are observing that trees and some animals like honey bees near 5G towers are dying. They suspect it's the radiation from the masts and fear this thing may actually be harmful to humans too. 5.) In view of all these, several scientists around the world have called for studies (independent of the telecommunications industry) to be done to investigate the possible effects of all this radiation humans and the environment are being exposed to. This is one of such calls: www.jrseco.com/european-union-5g-appeal-scientists-warn-of-potential-serious-health-effects-of-5g/ Watch this YouTube video too. This was in 2018, before the bill for 5G was passed in Michigan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK0AliMe-KA In summary: We have scientific proof that prolonged exposures to RF radiation like 2G, 3G and 4G is harmful. We also know 5G is several times more powerful than 4G. We've seen how close to people's houses they're installing the masts and cells and we've heard claims from communities that it's destroying their environment. Yet, industry experts want us to believe there's no cause for alarm. The big question people are asking is how much radiation are we currently being exposed to? How much is enough? At what point should we draw the line and say 'this is too much? Is there a way for us to not install these things so close to houses? The fact is that we don't know. There have been no studies done to answer these questions. Instead, what we have are industry-sponsored reports and the media telling us everything is okay, and calling everyone who thinks otherwise a conspiracy theorist. What concerned scientists have asked for is a delay in the deployment of 5G and industry-independent studies to investigate the environmental effects of the level of radiation we're going to be exposed to with the 5G rollout all over the world. Look at all the facts and come to your own conclusion. |
