It is really sad because if it was well executed, it would have eased things up for many.

We do not have an effective database. Kenyan government give loans for higher education to their citizens and since one get a national ID card at 18. They can trace anyone no matter where they are in this world. You can't be owing student loan and be applying to register a car on their ecitizen platform once the debtor Keys in his/her ID on the portal, the loan board is notified!

One is expected to start repaying after one year of graduation and failure to service the loan attracts $50 monthly fine!

No be today, the noise will soon die down and Lagos State government moves to the next location for demolition. Owners with original certificate of occupancy should be compensated.
