It is the constitutional obligation of the present administration to allocate resources to the development of the region no matter the number of the dissenting voices as long as people from that region wherever they are in Nigeria are paying taxes. It is against justice for an Igbo businessman or woman who is running a business in Enugu and promptly remitting the 5% VAT to the Federal Revenue Service not to be provided services because of the dissenting voices from the region but the same federal government is expected to allocate 3% of the VAT he or she is paying to the re-construction of the North-East they were not involved in destroying in the first place! ......Not every American love Obama but the constitution expects him to be fair to all.

lt is better the mind is prepared for such possibility.

He has the resources to take care of himself and the legal team to defend him. l do rather invest my sympathy on innocent Nigerians languishing for years in prisons across the country and lost hope for justice!

l have counselled myself against wailing over the present economic situation but investing my mind in discerning the opportunities that it has thrown up....that decision is rewarding me big time!

The past administration failed to fix those roads, it now behoves on the present to fix them and go after the funds if contracts were previously awarded for them.

Back to square one!

l met with a kenyan recently who told me the reason why he left his job at GTbank in Nairobi was that his Nigerian boss wanted the "Nigerian yes sir, yes sir" attitude from him and that he couldn't stomach it!....lol!

l would rather suggest that state governments empower their indigenes with the knowledge of cattle ranching & they run it in their personal spaces, there are kenyan farmers who manage their 100 dairy cows within 3 plots of land..is no rocket science!

Not so. For example, banks buys a dollar for around 99kenyan shillings and sell about 104kenyan shillings but the bureau de change buy a dollar for 101 kenyan shillings and sell at 102 kenyan shillings, which will you prefer?

Which company? Forex shops (bureau de change) are across Kenya, buying and selling at almost the same rates.

They run structured Forex shops and you don't see them soliciting for business on the road as common in Nigeria. You walk into a Forex shop with your National ID/Passport and buy any foreign currency of your choice within minutes. Their is always availability of forex because exporters and tourists prefer selling to Forex shops.

The irony is that in Kenya, the rate at the parallel market is lower than the bank rate!

The Senate is just making noise! The matter will soon be pushed aside!
