They need people around to remind them and also they should intermittently over the Public Address System announce that users of the park should properly dispose their waste at the nearest waste bin.

It is not about looking for fault but excellence. It would not cost much hiring about 2 persons as minders to see to the proper disposal of such in waste bins placed around the park!

Pavore, I have been following you closely for sometime now. Believe me, you have made me change my mind towards allowing my brother study agric/zoology as his desired course.
However, I cannot imagine him studying in Nigeria. As I have seen enough agric graduates that cannot practice commercially. Please do you have any idea where and what in particular he might study in Africa that can make his dream into reality? Keep in mind he will be 16 years and he's only enthusiastic about nature generally( no experience ).

Thank you for inspiring me start my own mini farm, when it materialises I'll share pictures and progress.

Most who studied Agriculture related courses did it as a last resort rather than staying at home waiting for another admission, just as most Faculties of Agriculture do not train their students to see and feel the possibilities in Agriculture thus why many look forward to working in offices upon graduation.

With what l know now, l wish l studied horticulture.

I will encourage your brother to do his first degree at home for his foundation after which he can travel out and do a year practical training in whichever aspect he is interested in, which could be diary farming, horticulture for both local and international market, breeding pedigree livestocks etc.

Looking forward to when you will be setting up your farm.

Oga pavore9 thanks for creating this thread. We need to know that we don't always require large space or land to farm...hope this pictures will inspire someone. Tomatoes and other vegies grown by a friend in half cut water containers, grow bags and buckets.

Impressive! Glad that people are motivated to start out something with what is available. Innovation takes us further just as knowledge makes us see things differently. The capacity of the human mind is infinite why waste it by limiting it.

With worms and worm cast you have there, you are a 'big boy' as here a kilo of earthworm sells for N4,000 and the worm cast do have its value

I am very convinced that you can get the material within Nigeria. The cost of production for the organization here l am convinced will not exceed N1,000 for each before they add their profit. The edge of the material is the durability, it will last up to 10 years when properly managed. Just like organicfoods suggested check with people building carports, they would certainly have an idea.

God's blessings is on a path away from what Dasuki represents as God is not into the business of misappropriation!
