Rooting for Leicester! ![]() |
jamp:The big sack is taken care of with a total of 20 litres of water weekly. Watering is about thrice weekly. |
Emefiele...one week, one policy! The CBN also banned BDCs from business relationship with street traders in foreign currencuies. It stated: “Similarly, it shall be a ground for the revocation of Licence should any street trader in foreign currencies be found to have any business relationship with a Licenced BDC.....How will this work when bank officials themselves do have their own mallams on speed dial to bring foreign currency into the banking hall for their customers who wants to do international transfer! |
Onions. Seedlings. Onions seedlings to be planted at the top

Picture 1. Harvesting beetroots Picture 2. Maize in the mix Picture 3. The woman harvesting from sack makes $4 from the sales of vegetable from each of her sack weekly (Vegetables are far cheaper in Kenya in comparison to Nigeria) Picture 4. A mix of vegetables and tuber.

After the sack has been set up, planting is next. Seedlings are preferred as against seeds for the sides, for certain crops like coriander one can have the seeds broadcasted on top of the sack like in Picture 1 and it grows into what you see in Picture 2. One can grow Ugu seeds on the of the sack. One can be creative to have a mix within one sack, on the top crops like onions, beetroot, cabbage, maize, lettuce, carrot, celery, aubergine (eggplants). There is someone l know who only grows peppermint on the top of her sacks, she knows what she is getting from the sales of it. Having crops like onions and coriander within the crop plants would serve as a natural insect repellent for your sack farm as we are aiming at growing organically. The holes on the sides of the sack can easily take of Green, Spinach, shoko etc. These should be grown through their seedlings. One has to make his or her own nursery as seedling centres are not as common as it is here. Here seedlings go as low as N2 for Spinach, just within 3 weeks of planting one begins to harvest the leaves from the stem for it to re-grow. Coriander seeds is about $1 for a 10g sachet and that can be broadcasted on top of the sacks. There is no straitjacket rule on what should be grown if you like populate your sack with ewedu afterall l am not the one bringing the Amala! ![]()

l was expecting this as this sect is funded by them! |
A good move. |
Fraudsters everywhere! |
Love d intellectual write up, far from burning energy on PDP vs APC! lt is common to see 33,000 litres tankers on Kenyan highways not filled with petroleum products as we are used to but with fresh milk produced locally, heading to other countries! |
@businessideas, you are so on point. This is why l have always been wary of "freedom fighters" because they have a way of transiting into dictators, Museiveni, Mugabe and the Presidents of Eritrea and South Sudan-the 2 youngest African countries! |
l can feel the pains of the people involved, how can they get only N360m out of the N13bn paid for their land! |
lt more of, if GEJ must be brought to the village square so must others before him! |
The defense makes no sense and this being a priority in this present economic downturn shows how insensitive these group of people are! |
l hope this will not end up as another boko haram group! |
Things were messed up! |
"Stolen water is sweeter" but when the expiring date reach you go hear am! |

mrvitalis:l just dey reflect over Ebonyi matter,as a rice producing state, they have no business with lack of electricity because of the rice husk in abundance which also makes particle boards! |
hmm.. |
Dem no get work! ![]() |
It should be done away with after all Kenyans are now paying N180 for a litre of petrol from the previous N224 per litre before the oil price crash and still transport fare and domestic flights are far cheaper than in Nigeria! ![]() |
