l will suggest you read from my first post till this one you quoted before you reach your conclusion. l started out with quoting the guy who said he supports the man's action because the woman was verbally abusive and l did ask him how he came to such certainty that the wife was abusive even if she was, does she deserve the physical abuse? How would he feel if his son-in-law batters his daughter at the excuse of verbally abusing him. Go read our exchange! You need not use foul language on people in order to express yourself, it makes you look smaller.....Have a good evening.

It is painful that women go scot free before the law for verbally abusing men (it does not attract a jail term), that is why a man owes himself restraint. He should think beyond the woman and think of his children and his extended family. It takes wisdom to dodge the devil's bullet. Physically hitting out on someone, does not make us stronger.

I would take physical abuse by men seriously the day the court takes verbal abuse seriously too

In your first post, you concluded that the woman verbally abused the husband as if it is a certainty. l will never encourage anyone to be abusive, verbally or physically but they are better ways of resolving issues and should this man get a prison term, will it worth it?

l hope what you just posted will make the Court declare him innocent because his wife 'provoked' him. With this mindset, your future son-in-law will be a lucky man as he is entitled to beat up your daughter because she verbally abused him!

Last time l was in Nigeria, l got to watch NTV and Citizen TV on DSTV but lanre2009 gets to watch them on a Free to air service which requires no monthly subscription. Though l am working on getting the Producer of Seeds of Gold to give me copies of all the Editions aired so far, though a tough call but hoping it would come out positive.

The worm guy shown yesterday, sells a kilo of Earthworm for N4,000 and Kilo of worm casting (organic fertilizers) for N100 and a litre of worm tea for N200. He averagely earns N400,000 monthly from his worm farm which is about half plot of land.

Though am not a fan of creation of more local governments as it is just to create opportunities for politicians because they do not serve the purpose which it is being intended for but it becomes dicey where the more local government councils a State has, the more allocation accrues to it. lf true federalism is being practised a lot of local government councils will have no option but to merge with others in order to cut cost but as long as more productive regions are filling in the national treasury, they would continue to breathe.

Even in the present unitary system, allocation should not be based on local governments nor landmass because though Niger State which is about 23 times of the size of Lagos state is not generating for the National treasury than Lagos State. Every State should receive based on output.....this feeding bottle called Federal Allocation is stunting our growth!

Let every region hold its leaders accountable for what has and is accruing to it. Anyone crying marginalization, should first ask his/her local government chairman, State House of Assembly member, House of Representatives members, Senators and Governor what they have done with the billions they have received on our behalf as these people are our brothers and sisters!
