djdoxxx: Thanks for the info...I have been carrying out so many researches on biogas production and I have come to many answers....some questions are still unanswered though. ...making money with this venture is in 4 major ways.....1) consultancy ...2) digester manufacturing and supplies.... 3) selling of biogas.... 4) selling of spare parts of biogas systems.......now, Pavore9, how do I utilise the 3rd option in a small scale.....a step by step guide would help....I guess u have a problem with how to feed the digester constantly to produce 300kg of biogas daily. thanks There are lots of waste around, the waste generated at the Mile 12 market in Lagos alone can produce thousands daily. |

djdoxxx: @Pavore9, Nice Thread Up Here...A Friend Of Mine Carried Out A Project In Biogas Production In Our Final Year In School, and I Since Then Noticed The Importance Of It In Africa,i Am Surprised Why It Is Under-utilized And Well Known Across Africa Considering The Level Of Education,Professors And Educated Ministers Of Agriculture Who Have Failed To Use This Means To Solve Electricity And Fuel Scarcity Problem And Other Problems At Large. I Want To Start Reselling Biogas In Kg As Cooking Gas,is This Possible? If It Is,what Are The Requirements?Do I Need To Join An Association, register My Business With CAC? After Building A Small Scale Digester,is It Only By Cow Dungs I Would Be Able To Generate Biogas Enough For Constant Resale? lt is more viable if u were to supply the compressed gas to Estates that has provision for centralized gas supply to homes which is being metered or institutions into commercial cooking. The feedstock is not limited to cow dungs, it would surprised you to know that poultry waste generate more gas than cow dungs. The vegetable wastes which are always heaps in our markets are also good feedstocks and should be around the coastal areas the water hyacinth which is a menace to fishermen is a very good feedstock as one just have to get them off the water, chop them to smaller pieces and feed the digester. This truckload of the compressed gas which was generated from the digester can serve 12 families on a weekly basis.

Painful! When these demons (kidnappers) are caught they would now blame Satan, their father as being responsible. lt seems it is only when death penalty is attached to kidnapping that these twisted minds would then think twice before embarking on an operation! |
Agriculture › Small Space Urban Farmers. by Pavore9(mod): 1:11pm On Jun 24, 2015*. Modified: 2:42pm On Jun 24, 2015 |
For those who are residing in urban areas where naturally one can't think of growing things because of limited space within their abode and probably one happens to be a tenant. l am inspired to share the wooden pallet option which l did see when l visited a family.
With just a little space using pallets (Abeg one should not go and use pallets used in importing chemicals to avoid toxification) one can grow short term crops like lettuce, curry in it, imagine while cooking in your kitchen you dash to your 'farm' to get fresh curry for your stew!

Cucumber nd watermelon are no go area for me. Lettuce would be a nice try if your soil supports it as harvest is within 2 months and gets higher price than green and shoko. |

saintandsinnerz: What some of us said during the regime of Gej is now happening. Then I was cautioning people about the way they were abusing GeJ and his wife then, but they were having their fun, hence they never cared about the repercussion. I told them if Buhari, eventually wins d election the same insults and abuses will likely be meted out to him. Now what we predicted is happening, so nobody should complain. I guess you never cautioned people when they were abusing GeJ, so bro what goes around comes around. l was raised to apply civility even when l am not comfortable with a person or situation and for people no matter their political affiliations, tribes or Religion who feel a sense of fulfilment from using denigratory statements on their fellow mortals are interiorly disturbed. |

Politics › Re: Non-indigenes In Rivers Petition Buhari Over Wike’s Sack Threat by Pavore9: 1:24pm On Jun 23, 2015 |
If this is true, why were we screaming xenophobia against South Africa? How can a Nigerian be a foreigner within Nigeria?
''The non-indigenes further called on President Buhari to remember and adequately appreciate Amaechi’s contributions to his victory, stressing that,“We wish to appeal to remember all the risks that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi took to ensure the success we recorded in the Presidential polls and ensure that he is comfortably accommodated in your administration as anything less than this will amount to adding to the pain that we are currently going through in Rivers State”
The above paragraph gives room to assume that this group is affiliated to Amaechi. |
