Lol. I was born and raised in the east and I never came across any yoruba-bearing onitsha person. Not even one person. Chukwuma Bamidele is an exception, by Nnamdi Azikiwe who was a staunch believer in one Nigeria. Onitsha is just as Igbotic as Aba, PH or Owerri. No onitsha person bears a yoruba name except maybe if they have a yoruba mother or distant relative (which I still haven't come across anyway).

By the way, meet Kojo Nnamdi a man from Guyana in the Caribbean who adopted an Igbo last name. tongue

https://www.crazykelvin.com/aboutme/images/kojo-nnamdi-2013.jpg

He is the host of The Kojo Nnamdi Show, and The Politics Hour on WAMU, and the Evening Exchange broadcast on WHUT-TV in America.
Furthering the igbo talk, the Luo tribe of Kenya share some names with us such as Amadi, Opara etc.

Don't be unnecessarily stupid. Nnamdi Azikiwe was a strong believer in one Nigeria such that he spoke alln 3 Nigerian languages and gave his first son a Yoruba middle name to solidify his belief in one Nigeria. However, I doubt if Chukwuma himself gave his own kids yoruba names.
What is silly about my comment? There are better ways to communicate your thoughts but this is certainly not one of them! Go do your research first before thinking you are an authority on this issue! l grew up in Lagos beside an Onitsha family, when we were still around 7/8 years the youngest child in that Onitsha family was in his 20's. so they were uncles and aunties figures to us and we knew them by their yoruba names despite the fact that both of their parents were from Onitsha, inland town to be precise. There was this elderly woman who was also our neighbour, she was from Rivers state and was popularly known as Mama Rivers her children were known by their Yoruba names despite both parents coming from Rivers state!

Watch your words!

"Few days ago we shared the story of Julianna, the woman with 2 kids who was sent away by her husband. We asked if any of our wonderful followers could provide accommodation and a job for her, the response was amazing. A lady offered her a job and accommodation which she initially accepted but on the day they were supposed to be moved, she said she'd prefer to go to her village instead and stay close to her people.
They boarded a bus to her hometown this morning and should have arrived now (called her around 6pm and she said they were almost home... Called again now but she didn't answer so I guess they are home now.) The lady also gave her some money to start a business when she gets home.
God bless our Instagram follower Oghenekaro she is the wonderful lady that made this happen. She took their problem as hers and treated them like family. She is one of the most selfless person I've met, was inspiring listening to her talk so passionately about the things she cares about, helping others and trying to make the world a better place in her own little way. God bless you Oghenekaro and all the best to Julianna and her kids."
Tomorrow these children would be told that they owe their father forgiveness! angry angry angry

Whynotthetruth:
Comparative advantage of Umunede over your village in garri production allows cost of production plus transportation of the garri to be still cheaper than producing it in your village where inputs like energy, labour etc are higher...
But that is not the case, Let me take the case of lgbariam, a farm settlement in Anambra state which is eve closer to Delta State than where l come from. garri is more or less the same price in Umunede! They massively cultivate cassava, they have local labour mostly from Abakilaki (Ebonyi state) and both ends predominantly use firewood for the frying of the garri, me abi alumni in garri frying! cheesy cheesy cheesy
