Go do your research first before thinking you are an authority on this issue! l grew up in Lagos beside an Onitsha family, when we were still around 7/8 years the youngest child in that Onitsha family was in his 20's. so they were uncles and [b]aunties [/b]figures to us and we knew them by their yoruba names despite the fact that both of their parents were from Onitsha, inland town to be precise. There was this elderly woman who was also our neighbour, she was from Rivers state and was popularly known as Mama Rivers her children were known by their Yoruba names despite both parents coming from Rivers state! Watch your words! |
