There is no other choice but to wait for God
Lies!
Look at Europeans, Americans, Australians and other reasonable people, did they wait for God?
No

They reformed their education systems.a long time ago.

but you can continue your noise making noise we shall see if it changes antything.
Certainly, it will not change anything.
But it will just be the record that someone has spoken which is far better than seeing the truth and not speak at all

When they were could you or your fathers throw them out?

Were they not the same ones giving you education and educating you? And even tomorrow people are still selling their lands and houses running to whete they are begging them to enlave and educate them.

Its a lost cause men! All that remains now is for God to fornat this world,
keep waiting for God.

Waiting for God is the attitude of Africans that has continued enslaving them just like the way they had waited for juju traditionalists and ifa priests all these centuries but of no vail

They cant!
The white bandits only physically left Africa but did not leave Africa. They are still ruling Africa and their slavery still continues as proven by this threads.

who allows the white bandits to continue enslave Africa mentally ?

Therefore Africa needs to educate themselves, no one will help them do that

This is not True!

It is actually the same white bandits who destroyed Africa with their Curses and use of half Truths and the evil use of good.

so, after the white bandits destroyed Africa, what did Africans do to recover from the destruction over the years?

Corruption!

It's as if Africans are so determined to destroy themselves the more and put the blame on unfortunate history
Religion / Re: The Greatest Evil Done To Africa Is Introduction Of Bible God. by paxonel(m): 5:42am On Mar 10
Lies!

The greatest evil done to Africa is the dogmatic continuation of traditional gods/Juju and deities and their traditional institutions that had encouraged ignorant African practices like killing of twins, traditional slavery and mindless ritualism and lack of common sense over the centuries, before Africans had interacted with Europeans in the mid 14th century

Religion / Re: .... "If The Dead Saints Are Presently In Heaven".... by paxonel(m): 5:57am On Mar 08
dadexcel:
For my Christian brothers, please I need clarification on this... Today's topic in RCCG sunday school talked about heaven and those that are already there.... Some of whom include dead saints of Old, prophets etc. My question is , based on what PAUL said in first thess 4 where he stated that at the trumpet sound the dead in Christ would rise first before we that are Holy at the time will meet them in the sky and we will finally join our saviour in heaven. So I need to know, if the dead saints are presently in heaven, who are the ones that will rise first at the trumpet sound.....
the bible uses a lot of figure of speeches just like parables that needs interpretations.
Here are the interpretation of the statement TO MEET THEM IN THE SKY.

To humans back then in bible days as at the time that scripture was documented, they usually see the sky as heaven, not knowing that beyond the sky there is a vacuum space.

The question now is, what is heaven actually, is heaven the sky?
The answer is no!

Heaven is right inside our spirit.

2 Corinthians 6:16 .....for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

So, when that scripture says TO MEET THEM IN THE SKY it actually meant TO MEET THEM IN OUR SPIRIT.

what is our spirit?
Our spirit is that faith we have in Christ that we will be resurrected immediately we die.
Now, resurrection takes place hear on earth.
So, all those old prophets you mentioned HAVE ALL BEEN RESURRECTED and they are still alive today with us, here on this earth.
Meaning, they have met with us, not in the sky but hear on earth is the real sense.

This is the full interpretation of the scripture 1 thes 4

I am not talking about doctrine. I am talking about people giving glory go the God of their pastor whom they don't know just because he does miracle.
This is how to know scammers.
Scammers will selfishly impersonify that the God that was meant for all denominations, is the God of their own denomination only, just to portray that more miracles are performed in their denomination than eksewhere so that they will have more members all for the money
Religion / Re: Can't A Member Be More Spiritual Than His Pastor? by paxonel(m): 3:53am On Mar 07
Ebios:
l am an English teacher. l usually encourage my students to study and sometimes tell them that they can be more knowledgeable than l am in English( as some of my teachers used to say then).

Even in a family,it has been correctly and repeatedly said that the prayer of a father/mother is "MY CHILD SHOULD BE BETTER THAN I AM".

Statements like these are made to encourage a lesser person to attain great heights.

However, my pastor shocked me when he said in the congregation openly, " I HAVE ALWAYS TOLD U IN THIS CHURCH THAT YOU CAN'T BE MORE SPIRITUAL THAN YOUR PASTOR... "
Dear Nairalanders especially pastors,is my pastor's statement correct?
l see PRIDE and IGNORANCE in that statement.
If l am wrong, pls educate me.
Why do you want to be spiritual in the first place?
Is being spiritual a criterion to make heaven?
Religion / Re: Hell Is Not Grave by paxonel(m): 3:41am On Mar 07
Pekun210:
Though both maybe beneath but one distuiguish them is everyone has appointment with death will so will be buried in the grave.both the good, holy, innocent, wicked, bad will go into the grave but everyone cannot go to hell.hell is for the sinners and the saint will be rejoicing in heaven singing hosannah
In reality and according to scriptures, hell fire is grave and not fire burning people.
The difference is, when a believer dies, he is resurrected and does not remain in the grave or hell fire.
But when an unbeliever dies, he remains dead in the grave forever, no resurrection.

I have been longing to ask, with the rate of sin even on the pulpit on a daily basis.

What are the criteria to make heaven?

Please I need answers. Thanks in anticipation.
the only thing that keeps one holy is his faith in Christ, that is the only criterion to be in heaven.

A scripture says without faith it is impossible to please God.

So, whether you go to the pulpit to commit shit or not, it doesn't really matter to God.

Your body is a better pulpit to God than some constructed pulpit in front of church

I like your theory. I wish you know that life's graph is not always a straight line through the origin.
is the reason why we should work towards straighting the line graph rather than wasting unnecessary time for religious principles like quiet time that has no proof of it reliability

he targets of today can be the obstacles of tomorrow.
the same thing can be experienced by regular quiet timists who didn't take time to plan their day but rely only on their prayers

The God you don't give time to know today, you will want him to give prompt intervention.
a scripture says the same rain that falls on the farm of a good person is the same rain that waters the farm of the wicked, how will you explain that?

You are likely to now need the advice of someone who patiently cultivate the habit of knowing Him or repeat the course yourself. Until you are in a problem you don't know what faith is. You don't develop faith muscles overnight. In the place of quite time, you know God intimately.
The question now is, after knowing God through the quiet time, what else?
Do you continue to do the quiet time and waste quality time you would have used to pursue better things?

I don't think that God want us to be time wasteful

how do you know?
as a matter of fact there are Muslims and Babalawo traditionalists and even atheists who don't pray, talkless of quiet time, yet they achieve more than Christians how spent hours quietiming.

Life is not about quietiming
It's about knowing the right thing to do and do it

It depend on the Christian.
Not all Christians have that time to spend.
Some people already have their targets for the day, wakes up and say a little prayer for less than one minute and off they go.
And they will achieve so much for the day than those who spent hours quieting their time

It is very good to put God first.
But that statement "put God first "is an open statement that has caused confusion among Christians and has exposed Christians to ridicule and vulnerability, as to who is this God that one should put first ?

A lot of Christians, in a bid to try to put God first, they have ended up putting church and pastor first, instead of God.

So, who is God?
Is God the same as church or pastor or religious activities?

What if it was a poor man that died will you ask him to resign?

Matrix137:
Only Jesus takes the glory as he has never claimed to do the miracles by himself.

Also the healing is to straighten the faith of those watching thru the testimonies of those that got miracles as many have come to Christ by such means including non Christians. I've seen Muslims, Buddhist, Hindu all coming to Christ by the testimonies and the miraculous experiences they had themselves.

I'll stop here for now...
If the aim is to attract Muslims, Buddists, Hinduists into the kingdom, i think that should be a very valid reason for the miracles.
But strengthing the faith of Christians?
One may ask, are Christians faithless that they need their faith to be strengthened?

And what is actually faith to be precise?

What do you have to say about Pastor Jerry Eze of NSPPD miracles. Real or faked ?

I can't tell

As the miracles from the testimonies I've seen all have verifiable evidences.
OK,
So, what are the essence of these miracles?
Is it to show that the man performing these miracles is truly a man of God?
