The world may change but God doesn't change his principles or precepts. He is immutable
These are God's principles and they will never change like you have said;:
1. Love God with all your heart
2. Love your neighbour as yourself

Any other principles outside these, are man made principles and are all subjected to change
. The change you see in the world only reflects the moral decadence that has eaten gradually into it,
which change?
Ladies putting on trousers or tattoo or dreadlocks, which one?

How many times have you heard that someone is arrested or fall sick for putting on tattoo and dreadlocks?
Do you understand what moral decadence is?
not that God has changed to accommodate such changes. Such decadence will continue until the rapture.
There is nothing decadence there.
If not, there will be atleast natural consequences of putting on tattoo

It's clear these are forbidden in Islamic and in the old testament laws. But Christians running away from old testament laws have no law to rely on to forbid all these!
We all know that Shari'a laws are man made all to control fellow humans.

Fellow humans creating laws that are not natural.
Yet, humans will be subjected to the laws thinking it is God that created them?

No now

I don't understand? Are you saying that a person is not entitled to pray for healing?
what happens to medications you get from pharmacies or the services of medical doctors?

God using miracle to interfer with natural processes was never so from the beginning,It was never his will.
He created man with brain to think.
He commanded him to replenish this world with his brain. And this what is happening today.
The centurion prayed for his servant (servant oo, not even child,to be healed and yet God answered.
that is because, he wanted the centurion to believe.
You see now that there is clear target or purpose for miracles, which is to bring Faith.
Same for Jairus daughter. Same for Abraham praying for Abimelech's household to uplift barrenness. So what are you talking about?
All these people had Faith in God because they saw miracles.

Now that you are already in the Faith do you need any miracle?
No!

So why are you afraid?

God created sex, but fornication is sin.
You are taking it to another dimension which is spiritual.

Tattoo, dreadlocks and sex are nothing spiritual

God does not move an inch if the world is changing into worldliness, fleshly lifestyle or corruption. God's standard of holiness remains forever.
It is you that is creating the name corruption or worldliness. As far as God is concern, everything he created, whether you see them good or not are clean and holy before him

Can you explain this further for we are entitled because God permits and allows us to be entitled. He granted us such rights
Where and when?

These are false hope from pastors!

We read this, David who was loved by God felt entitled too when he prayed that God should heal his sick child.

No Christian will get answers to his prayer when what he is asking cannot be solved practically.

Your prayer cannot get you any quick rich or fortune overnight, without taking the time to followi the gradual procedure step by step, except you want to go into scam.

Forget all those false testimonies they give in church. They are all desperately engineered to attract people

I easily get discouraged, if there are no sign
At least if God is not ready to answer prayers, he should show some signs that he is aware about it, that should encouraged us and make us press more further
God did not promise Christians what they are requesting from him in their prays.

Christians and churches are the ones putting their compulsory entitlements into God as prayer. And guess what? It doesn't work that way.

If there is no religional power sharing, then there is no Nigeria.
Because the mind of the average Nigerian is tribalistic

Since this is trending, here’s what I have to say:

Most of these pastors don’t personally buy half of the things you’re angry about.
Their members do.
assuming you are a teacher who was supose to teach a child that 1+1=2 but ended up teaching that 1+1=4. Then the child's parent out of ignorance of the right answer to 1+1, begins to bless you with cars, money and wristwatches for teaching their child the wrong thing, if you are a man with conscience will you collect the gifts ?

You failed to define exclusively from the scriptures you quoted, who jesus meant by wheat, and who were the shafts.

By this failure, you attempt to create on your own(not in support of scriptures) an artificial antecedent for today's generation, which is not good for today's Christianity.

What is seed and what is tares according to Jesus parables?
Christianity EtcRe: Do You Believe In Witchcraft by paxonel(m): 1:25am On Feb 02
Moderator101:
Yes it did. But not in the way that Churches today or Nollywood has presented it. The real danger is Participation not attack. If a Christian practices witchcraft he or she will not enter the Kingdom of God. (Galatians 5: 19-21)
So, you see that what the church today is calling witchcraft , are all fantacies or fictionally magic, and are therefore not real, thereby deceiving people. Eg mountain of fire church.

The Galatians 5:19-21 you mention did not specifically define what it means by witchcraft, meaning, it might just be seen as behavior of wickedness like hatred, variance, wrath, envy, etc.
And moreover, the witch of Endo in the old testament was simply idolatry inwhich some of their rituals were soccery or magic practices.
These things are not new in entertainment and children story books or movies

Christianity EtcRe: As A Christian, Is Your Morality Tied To Church Teachings by paxonel(op): 11:33am On Feb 01
HeatSeeker:
Morality and spirituality are not the same thing. They are often confused and conflated by religious people (specifically Christians and Muslims).

In truth, morality is a fruit of spirituality. But it is possible to be moral without being spiritual, and to be spiritual without being 100% moral in your dealings.
Your truth is spoken loud. God bless you
Christianity EtcAs A Christian, Is Your Morality Tied To Church Teachings by paxonel(op): 10:04am On Feb 01
I often heard some Christians saying they are born again which they interpreted as being morally upright than those other set of Christians who they say these Christians are not born again because they are into one sin or the other. They concluded that the reason why they are born again is because of the series of messages and teachings they have listened in church.
The question is, are these teachings enough to make anyone morally upright in the kind of Nigerian society?
If yes, how come we have so many corrupt Christian leaders in politics and public services inspite all the messages they have heard?

Your post is like saying 8 important reasons for a university graduate who passed waec a long time ago to write waec again after he has graduated from university.

You people keep making Christians believe that they don't have what they already have so that you will exploit them.
Is this not the origin of ignorance and corruption?

It happened in the past and God has forgiven him.

Why then should we continue to judge him for a sin he committed in the past and God has forgiven?

That's why Jesus said we should not judge or we will be judged.

I follow his ministry online and I have been blessed but salvation is personal.

On judgement day, I won't give account for you neither you for me.
No one is judging him ofcourse it is his personal life, he is entitled to do whatever he want as an adult, even if he want to be sleeping around with women.

But people should stop deceiving themselves to think that pastors are filled with the holy spirit than anyone else, I don't know what they are doing in their churches.
Constantly listening to people like these make yourself vulnerable to them. At the end they will exploit you.

The truth is, you are for more knowledgeable than them, forget their money

Is that not enough reason to free yourself from him and go start your own church?

Christianity EtcRe: It's Impossible To Put On The Armour Of God... by paxonel(m): 9:07pm On Jan 31
ocnovakmichael:
The armour is the wisdom of God because they all stem from the word of God. And Paul said the gospel which they preach is the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 2:7
[7]But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Brother, the wisdom of God is the sovereign property of God because Until God gave Jesus to the world nobody had him. Scripture says, 'for God so love the world that he Gave his only begotten Son: the word, the armour of God.'

Putting on God's armour is putting on Jesus, the word of God. Yet, no man can receive Jesus unless the Father draws him near.
It is now you have explained it better
Christianity EtcRe: It's Impossible To Put On The Armour Of God... by paxonel(m): 3:19pm On Jan 31
ocnovakmichael:
You see, the armour is God’s wisdom for spiritual battle. And James tells us the characteristics of God’s wisdom and how to appropriate this wisdom.

James 3:17
[17]But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Notice that text says, this wisdom is easy to be intreated. The word intreated is the old English word for entreat, which means to ask for earnestly. In other words, the wisdom of God, in this context the armour, is easy to ask for earnestly.
James 1:5
[5]If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James said if any man lack wisdom, in this case the armour of God for spiritual battle, let him ask of God, and it shall be given him. Ask, and ye shall receive that your joy may be full.

What you ask for and it is given you does not belong to you: it belongs to the giver
So why did you say the armour is the sovereign property of God?

How is sovereign property related to wisdom?
Christianity EtcRe: It's Impossible To Put On The Armour Of God... by paxonel(m): 2:23pm On Jan 31
