AkinDS:Ok thanks |
BascoVanVeli:This game was truly Rivers Angels vs the Nigerien goalie As the commentator said, a Nigerian club should buy that goalie ASAP cos she truly prevented the Rivers ladies from recording a basketball scoreline ![]() BTW, Vivian should be given a look-in by Waldrum. Yes, the opponents weren’t the greatest out there, but Vivian showed some desirable qualities in a winger. |
Sounds like the home-based players are still afflicted with the disease of lack of football intelligence. Smh. From the updates on the Rivers Angels game, here, I think it’s safe to say Waldrum would only consider inviting the talented midfielder and one or two of the wingers |
Jordan Nwora is putting on a 3-point clinic!! |

D’Tigers tip off in about 5 hours from now… |
Roland17:Absolute shame on FIBA and CAS! |
D’Tigress still need one or two more outside-the-paint shooters. The amount of missed 3s and 2s is the difference in this game |

Evergreen85:This is massive!! The more industrial clusters we have in the South-East, the greater the incentive for Igbo youths living in Igbo land to want to remain there. When the Ibaka Deep Seaport comes on stream, and the Enugu airport international terminal is completed, the exodus to Lagos or Abuja would even decline more. |

This article encapsulates my opinion on what the Ogwumike sisters (Nneka and Chiney) should have done right from the beginning: they should have chosen to represent Nigeria. Hopefully, this episode will cause the NBBF to be more aggressive in persuading talented basketballers of Nigerian heritage in the NCAA tournaments or the NBA and WNBA to don the Green-White-Green. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/olympics/2021/07/21/nneka-ogwumike-nigeria-usa-basketball-olympics/ |
