JorgedeToledo: Thanks PDPGuy.
Nneka and Chinney Ogwumike have played for the senior team of the USA including the world cup. How can they be eligible to play for the d'tigress? Must be an error from the NBBF. Of the Ogwumike sisters, it’s only Erica and Chiney who are eligible to play for Nigeria. |

For the women’s national team, coach Otis Hughley listed three new players — Erica Ogwumike, Oderah Chidom and Elizabeth Williams — in his squad.
Ogwumike’s sisters Nneka, a World Cup winner with the US in 2014 and 2018, and Chiney, also made the squad.
The other players who made the squad are Adaora Elonu, Aisha Balarabe, Amy Amukamara, Atonye Nyingifa, Ezinne Kalu, Pallas Kunayi-Akpanah, Ifunaya Ibekwe, Amy Okonkwo and Victoria Macauley.
Also, exciting power forward Evelyn Akhator missed out from D’Tigress squad for the Olympics, following COVID-19 travel restrictions, which prevented her from joining the other players in camp in the United States.
D’Tigress are drawn against USA, France and hosts Japan. D’Tigress current provisional rooster |

England should be careful cos the last times they scored inside the first four minutes at major competitions (vs USA at the 2010 WC, and vs Portugal at the 04 Euro), they ended up not winning both games. |

Won’t be surprised if Mancini specifically details Barrella and Veratti to press Busquets on Tuesday.. Any sensible coach will employ such a strategy since Busquets is not the most athletic midfielder around. |

Sendwave that exchanges at CBN rates.
Find a local agent and you will get N100 more than Sendwave rate for each transaction I no longer use Sendwave as well.. When I want to send money I send through friends who are in the money transfer business and have a much higher rate than the CBN rate. |

Once Rohr is done, the NFF must look to the direction of Emmanuel Amuneke to handle the SE.. I would have preferred Siaisia as my top choice but he has been banned by CAS for five years from any football-related activity |

Schemerkhiz: Toni Payne extends deal with Sevilla 29th June 2021
Super Falcons of Nigeria forward, Toni Payne has extended her contract with Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Sevilla FC.
Payne, 26, will play at the Spanish side for the next three years after the end of her previous contract.
The former Ajax player joined Sevilla in the 2018/2019 season and scored seven goals in 27 league games.
She scored five goals with five assists as Sevilla finished the 2020/2021 league season in eighth position with 45 points from 34 games.
The former American Youth International switched allegiance to Nigeria and played her first game for Super Falcons during Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Turkish Women’s Cup and went on to represent the country at the 2021 Summer Series when she played against Jamaica, Portugal, and USA. Well deserved! |
