Does this mean that Canada, Republic of Ireland, and Australia were merely woeful last year? Because it was essentially the same team that garnered 5 points against those teams at the WC

Omo

When will African teams stop treating the ball like it's radioactive?
It’s becoming irritating! Controlling the ball with confidence is still a problem.

I saw it too. Hilarious and weakening. Beijing remains the last Olympics that made sense. The rest have succumbed to agendas and provocative gestures.

Are you following the favor ofili name omission from 100m race by AfN and NOC? Omo.... undecided undecided undecided
It’s a freaking disgrace

No matter how you slice or dice it, D’Tigress would avoid the U.S. in the quarter finals, per the Olympic format

This line up, with some luck, may beat Japan
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 8:37pm On Jul 29, 2024
Can the Super Falcons beat Japan by 2 goals? Yes. But the likes of Oshoala, Okoronkwo and Macleans need to start in order for that outcome to become a possibility

Prior to the tournament, I always thought Canada was our best chance at a win, watching their game against France help solidify that yet the more. I also think if we play great defence like we did today we could beat France too.
I believe we can beat Canada too. Hey, I would take 5 points from the group any day, especially when you consider that, a week ago, almost no one believed this team would garner more than 3 points from the group

The French women beat Canada 75-54. This result means that France now top the table, on points difference, with Nigeria 2nd, Australia 3rd, and Canada 4th.

Another fun Fact

Rena Wakama is age mate with Ezinne Kalu and only one year older than Promise Amukamara.

The age difference between her and the youngest player on the team is 8 years.

She's building a massive CV right now.
Wow! And the players show her the utmost respect, despite being age mates
