Esther Okoronkwo should be the starting number 9. She has an eye for goals, slow but decent timing
She scored away and home against Cameroon but one was canceled
They better get to camp early and clean up their mess because Bafana Bafana are no joke
They are the best team in Africa at the moment
And I believe first game will be played in Nigeria
While second in South Africa. Hopefully we get to win 2 - 0 first leg but that’s gonna be really tough
Change the venue, Abuja pitch is bad
Uyo or the pitch on Lagos island would be better
Yes oh. I don’t mind if the first leg is held at the Onikan stadium (with albeit a much smaller capacity) because LASG has done a fantastic job in maintaining the pitch

Where will you put Christy Ucheibe then? Cause Demehin will come back to her CB position, the coaches had to play safe because of her knee that’s why they substituted her…

Esther will be back within a Week or two..
I don’t mind having Ucheibe on the bench (yeah, I know that sounds weird) because she is a less effective passer of the ball than the three that I listed; and both Abiodun and Ayinde are sufficient to cover the defensive mid area.
However, she can always come in later in the game to shore up midfield, we are protecting a lead

It’s nice that the SF are now on a 13-match unbeaten streak…

But Waldrum needs to fashion out a way to ensure that the team is DOMINATING midfield play, because honestly, for 60% of the match, the Cameroonians strolled through the middle and won most of the second balls in our own half.

That needs to change because the South Africans, even though they are way less physical than Cameroon, would punish our team if they have that much midfield freedom.

Moreover, I’m backing Echegini to start in the April matches as she was an absolute menace to the Cameroonian back line. The front three should be the trio of Babajide, Okoronkwo (if she is fit), and Ajibade; whilst the midfield trio should be Ayinde, Abiodun, and Echegini

The Cameroonian keeper is having a blinder!!

Echegini was clutch with that assist, beating 3 Cameroonians and squaring to Okoronkwo 🙌🏽🙌🏽

NFF should petition CAF to permit the use of VAR for the last qualifying round, similar to how CAF permitted the system for the 2022 WC qualification playoffs. The last things we want to see, again, are wrongly disallowed goals

Bro.. I try as much as possible to stay clear of any discussion involving the situation of this country. It is depressing. Imagine a national team is playing an important qualifier yet there is no reliable broadcasting means. It is sad ... very sad.
I feel you!

Untrue! Arsenal, Chelsea and psg realistically need and can afford him
Judging from their history, do you really think Arsenal will fork over €130 million for one player?
I seriously doubt it

From the look of things, it’s realistically only PSG that would put in a serious bid for Osimhen, because Chelsea are now focused on signing a current EPL striker…

It’s a shame that we would likely have to rely on someone’s Facebook “live” to watch tomorrow’s match 🤦🏾

BTW, if “Wenger’s law” on offsides is approved for next season, that Jackson run that led to Sterling’s disallowed goal would be deemed onside…

Aside from some poor decision-making from Enzo and Sterling, the team has held their own so far

CAF OLYMPIC QUALIFIERS
Ghana 0-1 Zambia
Tunisia 1-2 Morocco
Cameroon 0-0 Nigeria
Tanzania 0-3 South Africa

I think Randy should start Esther Okoronkwo, Rinsola and Echigini in the second leg. We need to create chances and score goals ooo
SA and Zambia are virtually through to the next round..

Maybe but again the likes of Brazil trios of 35yrs goalkeeper Bárbara Barbosa, Cristiane 38yrs, Marta 38yrs who are still active with the Brazilian National Team.. if any of them don’t go then she will…

If not the rest of the National teams 2008 Olympic set don retire from football and the rest remaining don retire from National team football..
Oh I totally forgot about the Brazilians 😁

Fun Fact…; Tochukwu Oluehi is the only Player in the SuperFalcons that have been to the Olympic Games… #2008

Veterans like Osinachi Ohale who have been in the team for about 15yrs now, and the likes of Halimatu Ayinde, Asisat Oshoala who have been in the team since 2013 and 2014 respectively still haven’t 😜
And I believe she’ll be the only player from the 2008 tournament (across all teams) to be part of the 2024 tourney, if we qualify

I pity barka fans. Imagine adding mbappe and edrick to what they already have this season. That's the team they'll be facing at least two times a season in their broke state. And the catch this time is they don't have a new Messi just wannabes that flop are are loaned to mid table clubs.
Right. Real will dominate both the league and El Classico for the foreseeable future
