Good morning ma,am in d clinic wit my broda-inlaw wife. She is in labor n mehnnn d thing no b here.had to b breathing with her,rubbing her back, so on etc.so so emotional rite now.did not really go thru dis process since I did CS n am imagining wat our e-mama went thru to bring forth their LO.it is well.pls pray along wit me. Will come back n share d good news on behalf of her.

CS is a good option especially if it's to saved d mother n child life....wen I was pregnant n it's has gotten to 39weeks n 5days,d last scan I did says shortage of amniotic fluid.wen I got to d hospital,check my bp it was 170/100 n protein was 2+,d doc says CS is d next option.at first I rejected it n d doctor had to come out of his office n started begging me. I did d CS ,it was very fast n was successful. My cute boy is 1yr old n I had no regret

In 2012 I had my first baby through CS, Thank God I went for it. It saved my life I thought I was gonna die in the theatre cos of stories I heard in fact I was awake all through the procedure only my down part was injected, but it was very fast you can't even see the mark. I don't see anything wrong with it, it would only save your life, the second baby was normal and fast too. The pains in normal delivery na die to push sef na another stress hmmmmm normal delivery I fear am pass CS choi lol

pls ma ow many years did u wait to conceive d second baby since u said d second baby was normal...I did CS too n my baby is 1yr n 1month

I was given Evans co-trimoxazole paediatric Suspension in d Hospital (5mls 2 times daily for 5days.my son is 11month n before I took him to d hospital, he poo like 8times n d last poo there was traces of blood in it.bt now he is doing fine n poo normal.....

In its solid form or watery? I just finished treating malaria and my DD now poos after every feed. Av been giving zinc tablet and ORS but she's still pooing.

u can give ur child septrin for Baby cos dat was wat I was given wen my DS was stooling together wit d zinc n ORS

D issue started November wen I did not c my menses n I did pregnancy test it was negative, so one of my family nurse advised I shud go for m/c/s. She said it cud b infection dat made it not to come. I went n it's says heavy growth of staphylococcus aureus. Wat cud b b cause cos I was not even having itches or vaginal discharge. N one doctor I went to see in Nov said it's missed abortion but d PT shows negative n I did not bleed. He now said he will carry out evacuation n I told my husband who travelled dat time said I shud wait for him to com.asking if doctor is aware I did CS Dat he want to do evacuation. during waiting, I now saw my menses 28th Dec 2015. I saw my menses Jan 26. Do u still advise I go for pelvic scan. Thank u sir for ur quick response.

Doctor u too much,went to d clinic,was given nyastin to b inserted in d vaginal at nite. Will u prescribe any cream to use or there is no need

Doc gud day,just saw dis thread now,ve many questions to ask. Wen is it adviceable for one to conceive after CS cos my baby will b one next month. 2.went for test dis January ,d test reveal I had heavy growth of staphylococcus aureus.was given gentamacin injection, auguementin n flagyl.after taking d drug,i went for another test it shows moderate growth of staphylococcus aureus,i went to d clinic with d result.was placed on gentamacin inj,rapidflox,axacef n doxyclinin.goin to d lab next week for anoda test.

Our case is same.
My own bp was steadily rising and by 38th week, scan showed dt there was only little amniotic fluid left. So I was induced at 39weeks buh it failed hence the CS.

I even try to convince d Dr if he can induced me cos I was 39weeks n 6days no issue of bp in my file bt he insisted CS cos after showing d scan report, he ask me to go to d lab to check for protein in my urine n it came out positive, it was 2+. d most important thing is mother alive,baby alive.

Labour came naturally and lasted about 22hrs, no augmentation. I gave birth at exactly 40weeks0days, just when my Drs were like I should consider a repeat CS. I was adamant only becos I had no probs with this pregnancy apart from my history of previous scar.
You cant be induced in any way. Altho some swear by natural means ( castor oil) I was scared to try it.

I really appreciate u for replying. D reason for d CS was dat d amniotic fluid is reduced n wen I was told. Guess wat,my bp com high n al thru my pregnancy no bp.it was 120/70. Who no go get bp wen they tel her reduced fluid n CS is d option.dat nite at d clinic d bp com b 170/80

I waited 2years n 6 months before I got pregnant. So like 3 years between the deliveries.
I just tried to have a normal pregnancy and thats all.
I actually know someone that had VBAC about a year and 6months after her CS.

Iyabetajos, seek a 2nd opinion. When that Dr agrees or of you hear preeclampsia, let the Drs do their jobs abeg. The only question you need to ask is how often do they do this and what do they have in place to ensure your baby survives. Or perhaps you pack your things to the hospital for constant monitoring till you are 32 weeks.
Whichever way, pray for God's guidance as you make your decision.

My ATC sister says she knows she will lose most of her friends when she conceives. I ask how come. She says she knows.
Me, that was praying for VBAC, my SiL had a baby a month before me, VD. Then she started giving me sermon on how to be strong, she wasnt sounding like she was encouraging me o, she sounded like she was gloating. I just smiled and told her CS is why Moyo is alive. I wouldnt trade my scar for anything, I will have it again and again if there is need for it. I never told her my VBAC plan. I had Atinuke at 2.30am and by 5.00pm, I was discharged ( I insisted). She called me to ask if I was in the hospital, I told her I'm at home already. She was surprised. When she came to greet me, I said " I did VD o" she just gruntled and said " I know". I just laughed! I know she would have had plenty to say and gloat over if I had CS.

Abeg ow u do am,ow many month/year u wait b4 u take in, cos am seriously praying for VBAC, did CS n my cute baby boy will b 1 next month

So doc just inserted foley catheter to ripen my cervix and checked lo's heartbeat. Still chilling with my jumbo size sharwama for my transition phase of labour to begin. See you later with more gist.

Pls sabi mamas, can one who went thru cs do the following
- sitz bath
- tying of tummy
- pressing the tummy with hot water i.e. above the scar

had to log in now wen I saw ur question, u can't tie ur stomach because of d stitches n don't press bt rather clean with towel n for d sitz bath u can sit. Cos u know dat place was not stressed bt for tightening sake. Y am saying I have a friend who did CS after some days went n use girdle,d stitches got open n she started bleeding. It was God dat save her.took her to d theatre to sow d stich.i did CS too I did not tie till 3months n my stomach is flat n my son will b 11month dis Sunday.

Had similar experience last week,he is 9month n alway vomit anything he eat n I was so scared bt I took him to d hospital n he was treated for malaria n I deworm him.doctor told me he has throat infection cos of things/toy he pick from d floor bt he is very fine now. He eat very well now

To be sincere, abortion is not good..buh since u started u have to end..
Cos incomplete abortion has serious complications...
She may get hurt for life..
So do a simple scan, to see if her womb is clear..if she's still preggo, run d abortion again..but if the baby is dead buh still has part in the womb..u gat to clear it out cos of infections..that part can only be done by a doctor..

u are rite my dear broda,since she took misoprotol there shud some part dat is not flushed completely,d Best tin is do scan n meet a qualified doctor to remove d remaining foetus cos delay is dangerous. Cos if there is infection n it has spread to d womb it might result to removing d womb which we don't pray for.

To me, d man is selfish n not understanding, I gave birth via CS n my husband was there to support, love,n care for me. He was scared to have sex even wen I try to initiate it. It was after 2month 3weeks we started having sex cos d doctor certified me ok. N another thing pls c ur doctor on which family planning Is suitable cos it is dangerous to get pregnant now...
