Shifting blame is understandable in this situation. Nigeria is basically ruined. Our economy and foreign exchange rate rely on crude. Obasanjo cleared our debts before he left but now we are heavily indebted. Obasanjo started a program (some kinda of backup plan for a time like this) but Jonathan instead of contributing to it when oil price appreciated, the bastard embezzled almost everything. So we basically have nothing. I doubt if they actually assessed these factors before election ( we have a culture that care less about economic policies)

I don't even want to think about it because don't see a way out for us without austerity measures and economic diversification. The latter, I believe has been Buhari's primary concern. The reason he has been traveling here and there. However that is going to be hard in a country where fools couldn't fix electricity issues before privatising it, where terrorism has no face and corruption is still a big deal.
