PoliticsRe: Aljazeera Airs A Heartbreaking Program About Lagos(25 May 2011 -Video) by peejay(m): 9:34am On May 27, 2011
Forget about these things they air internationally. It makes no sense. The bad guys are out there doing their thing and making us look like badder guys. If you go to history and trace it back, you'll be amazed at what you discover. As for me, all these documentaries are just a way of using us to make their money. It only goes to say that Nigeria is a money making machine for the whole world. You might laugh at what I'm saying or giggle at my obscure approach but look at the bigger picture. Nigeria is better than 60% of the world, that I can say and defend so when I see these things I laugh. Tell me which country doesn't have poverty and problems? tell me which country doesn't have corruption? They see one part of Nigeria and make a fallacy of it. It stinks!! Yes! we have problems, Yes! there are bad apples but all you need is a change of mindset, propagate this and most other things will change.

Don't really want to preach, so carry on guys, One luv, Peejay.
RomanceRe: Blackbery Craze: An Encounter With A Blackberry Babe by peejay(m): 10:32pm On Mar 25, 2011
Black berry is good and bad, How you use it that counts. But the world today uses it to send and receive utter nonsense, circular jokes, time wasting activities etc. I want a black berry but I don't want to connect with the ill abused network that has become of it.
RomanceRe: Toasting Lines You Used To Use In The Olden Days by peejay(m): 3:19pm On Jul 19, 2010
In primary and secondary school it would be, "excuse me please can i borrow your pen/book/?" This was bound to start a conversation and the rest was easy. but some girls knew the trick too well and would either say I don't have one or NO! without looking at you. But I think that was one of the easiest ways to talk to a girl.
For someone not in your class it would be a letter, 'i really like you'

Those were the days, I think i was a winner but my grades were an eye sour.

Nigeria took advantage of the 80/20 rule, 80% defence and 20% offence.
CultureRe: What Is So Wrong With Being Left Handed by peejay(m): 1:44am On May 21, 2010
There is no doubt that left handers are unique in the making simply because they activate the part of the brain that is analytical, detailed, strategic and problem solving. Left handers are the great thinkers of our kind, they are the knowledge workers that foster innovation and productivity, they are our leaders that bring about change, they are me and you that are born everyday.

I studied at length why the left hand was seen as a taboo to be used as a primary form of communication but all I got was years and years of transferred traditional and cultural beliefs from our forefathers.

As a young boy my dad did his best to transfer my attention to my right hand. My mum lashed at him everyday, till he had to stop for the sake of peace. But his fighting for several years made me feel different from the rest of the family, not until when I started to become articulate and a master of mathematics and analytical skills did I and everyone else realize the reason behind my success. From then on all I can say is, LIFE IS GOOD, but that does not mean you should buy LG phones.

There is one about "Peugeot 307 Range" sometime in 2002 or so, it starts with the song "Something inside so strong" then you see someone behind bars painting a masterpiece on the wall while words write across the screen " A prisoner is not just a criminal" and I think the next scene was a business man coming home and meets his son playing basket ball. the man grabs the ball and makes a 3-pointer and the words across the screen " a business man is not just a worker" something like that, and the music is still going, something inside so strooong, men that really touched me, i have tried to look for that ad on the internet but i couldn't get it,
PoliticsRe: Pictures From Jos Crises by peejay(m): 9:07pm On Jan 22, 2010
I remember when I served in Jigawa state 3yrs ago. 2006/2007. That was my first time in Northern Nigeria. Infact when my pops heard about my posting he almost went to madness. But somehow he obliged. About 6months into the program something happened in Dutse (capital) I heard that it started as an argument between two women in the market. Obviously 1 xtian and the other Muslim, I heard they cursed their Jesus and their Mohamed. This argument spawned to a devastating destruction of public property. A place called Gidan John, there was this Igbo woman that had been running a canteen business and grocery for 10yrs, We all gathered there most of the time to hang out. anyone who served in Jigawa will know what I'm saying, Anyway that was the first place to burn to nonsense, then all the churches followed. I'm a catholic and the church I attended was not spared. I took a picture of the Rev. Fathers house after the destruction. You can see it for yourself.
I'm not a Judgemental person but my problem comes from why an argument in the market would lead to this. I've always heard about these conflicts but wasn't there to judge. but when I saw this, I was heartbroken. You should have seen the look in these young boys and middle aged men, ready to rip you apart. They even burnt many copers apartments and sent many packing.

Anyway the Emir wasn't happy about it and he punished some of the people that started the uproar. I heard it was actually a Police man that went to the Mosque and reported that a xtian woman had Blasphemed. And it was on a friday.

Really? See I taught the whole point of a "fix" is that what needs to be fixed first has to be broken.
LOL, depends in the context. In this case, fixing it is totally hilarious, and then again, a quick fix, is even more devastating, i'm sure you get the point.

PoliticsRe: Militants Attack UNIPORT by peejay(m): 2:11am On Nov 18, 2009
The F.G is just building an Empire of destruction. The system is a plague with rotten brains. The result is what we all are experiencing. How one earth does it make sense to pay Militants Salary?!?!? The whole idea of Amnesty was dead from the start because it was a "quick fix" scheme. The only solution to the problem is to remove the people that are causing it. These attacks are the results of failed Leadership, Porous thinking faculty, disregard to Human right, self-centeredness and organized crime (corruption).
Believe me no fixing schemes will ever work. You can't fix whats broken!!

I'll use this medium to ask you all to renew your lives, have a vision and achieve it. If everyone is like you, then we have a chance.

EducationRe: How Do I Improve My Maths? by peejay(m): 9:40pm On Oct 30, 2008
I guess all these posts put together sums up about everything. but i'm inspired to add mine. Up until my SS2, i was poor in maths. one prep night, i walked up to my buddy and asked him to solve a math problem for me. i remember it was in bearing. u no, dat thing about planes flying 200degree north den south, bla bla, blaaa. well instead of my buddy to help me solve it, he reach into his locker and brought out an 80leaves exercise book then said look for the solution there and help urself. i was like "wot da huh" On the cover of the book was written "Solved maths problems"

So i went over to my class sat down in my seat and opened this book, i was amazed. my buddy had solved so manyyyy many many many maths problems, topic to topic. back to back, i was angry!! DAMN!!, but i was polite enough to ask how he did it. all he told me was follow the syntax( Rules ) and u will be able to do same but don't stop!! Solve all of them, the more u solve, the more u will understand.

And u all know dat saying that the Student becomes better then the master right?? yeaa dats right, eva since then, my life has changed i solved and solved ans solved and i began to see d light! my performance smashed through the roof.

i also applied this to physics and got the same results,

hope this helps,

@ Ex-Inferis

its a pity we cant stand up for our right. but i believe in the near future, as competence increases, we will begin to take a closer look at what we are paying for, what we deserve and what we are getting. every nation goes through this phase, ours has just begun. But its amazing how some people will open their mouth and say "bross na so we see am o! wetin man go do?" i guess the military regime really put an iron zip on our mouth's which has affected everything, i remember when we planned to switch off our MTN lines for just 1day, 1DAY !!! how many people did it? this is something that we embarked upon for our own good, but it beats me to find out that some people don't know that they "DON'T KNOW" whats good!!!

abeg abeg abeg i no wan vex,

meanwhile for the subscription price, hehe bross, wetin man go do, 10k, 15k if i can get 4 - 7gig download in a day, i'm fine for now,

so has anyone confirmed it?
ComputersRe: Mtn 3.5g Data Service: How Good? by peejay(m): 12:40pm On Sep 10, 2008
A friend of mine just called me and said MTN has offered an unlimited download access on the 3.5G services at 15k/month subscription. i've been interested in getting it but that 3g limit has been a pain in the neck and many people fell to this.

Can anyone here confirm this new update?
