Like Izzou advised few days ago; study the mood before throwing offline to riders. Don't foul yourself and have career threatening injury in an attempt to negotiate offline.

Let's be sincere, the fact that the driver said the road was bad and was negotiating for an offline deal is kinda questionable. It could be argued he only came up with that story to negotiate for offline. He should have totally declined the trip except if the rider himself presents the offline offer.

Accident or not, the car has been fixed. Just get a good mechanic to inspect physically and scan to know the present state of the car, that's the most important thing now. The price is fair enough, abi she should drop it free of charge because it may have an accident history? No down payment is required so I don't see much risk involved in the first place.

I've a very valid gear Master. The guy that fixed my Honda Civic, and he's honest to a good extent. Guy replaced a Crosstours' gear with just 23k.
He went to the market without the Crosstour owner and got the gear for a very cheap price of 23k when the owner gave him 110k for another one, came back and return the change. Only bought oil Dextron III from it. But gear Master is in Pedro.

The vehicle has never been used on ehailing platform she uses it just for movement to work, pick up her kid from school then to church (mostly on Sundays) and probably when she has events to attend.

At first when she bought it, she didn't drive it herself because she was used to driving manual almost all her life and was scared of driving the vehicle when she bought it (which is very funny though) I remember her calling me the following Sunday after dedicating the car to please come to her place early that Sunday morning to drive her and her kids to and fro church. Though she paid me for the service. The car was smooth during the drive.

She does regular maintenance on the car. If the car should cough, immediately she'll call the mechanic in my church to check it and have it fixed.

The mileage on the vehicle right now is still around 100k. Though she started having some issues with the vehicle when she employed a driver. I must confess the driver is a rough drive who takes advantage of any opportunity given to him to go and service the vehicle.

Right now she is trying to get the car back in shape so that it will be fit for my use.

So based on this explanation I hope you'd be able to make your inference.

Yes, there are cases of people neglecting the use of the belts even though they have cars, but most cases are from people WHO DON'T HAVE CARS. I've experienced this many times, hence my conclusion

Lastma ard osborne apprehend us and start taking picture, before she realise she's the reason for d drama... I just felt weak and dumbfound, we got to their office, she called d lasma people she knw, they reduce charge from 20k to 6200, she turned to me that she has tried, her time is just burning here, I should give them 6k (Tough have cancel d trip)... I don't have cash at hand, so she lend me 6k. On our way, she said the trip is supposed to b 5/5200 so I'll have to transfer 1k to her, which I was just looking. I dropped her off at the end of addo road and I honestly don't feel like transferring a kobo to her, despite dropping her acct number. Back to mainland now and the zeal is not just dia to drive.

But why should the driver be held responsible for rider's failure to use seat belt?

You need to be always present on this thread and constantly advertise your services, at least once a day. One post in a month or week here will not bring you customers.

1. They want to use Mobil for it, is it advisable and will it get the job done? If yes, how much is a litre and how many would be needed?

2. Regarding the hp issues, what clause, if at all, can I put in place to protect me from future unwanted stress?

I'm not a driver, may be not yet, but from experience I've got here, offline deals can easily be negotiated if the rider is going to be putting you on waiting time thereby preventing you from other trips. If a rider requests for a to and fro long trip and isn't going to waste your time, u can't force offline on him, though you may introduce offline which he/she might decline at his/her discretion.
But normally, any long trips or a single trip with various destinations that will keep you waiting for the rider and prevent you from other trips is better negotiated offline.

I start anytime i like and close anytime i like. It is not a full time thing for me. But Fridays and Sundays are a must for me. Saturday na for Owanbe with some sure party riders. Mondays no job. Tuesday Wed and Thursday na anytime. As per request, It can come anywhere. I have seen a request at Ishaga roundabout before. I have seen at station to go pick at Obawole along Alamutu busstop.
