dru23: But you will not envy them when it is time to replace the hybrid battery but the Prius rarely have issues Since they are mostly getting the cars brand new, they will have saved more than the cost of hybrid lbattery from the fuel, unlike in Nigeria when the hybrid battery might be on its last month's before being shipped. |

Is honda accord really in category B? I think it should be C. Accord, EOD & DC are cheap when compared to the Corolla of same year. A friend of mine bought naija used EOD for 650k and still uses it till date. Drives Ife to Lagos frequently. I think accord should be C, like civic. Unless I'm not understanding your analogy radautoworks: you sef be undercover troll
On a serious note though, I agree one should look for cheap car to maximize returns but in my opinion/experience those cars are cheap up front but expensive down the road (A). The converse is expensive upfront but cheap down the road (B). The perfect car is in the middle C. None is necessarily bad and may suite different people. Personally if I drive for a living I want a B or C (parts availability is never a problem if you hardly ever need them . Bear in mind I don't know street value of a lot of these in Nigeria so I'm going off street value in the US and through the eyes of mechanics. Adjust perception accordingly. Some of the As might be Ds in Nigeria (expensive upfront AND down the road).
Considerations are ruggedness, fuel efficiency, comfort and cost of spare parts.
A Volkswagen Jetta 1.8L C Nissan Sentra 2.0L A Hyundai Accent 1.6L A Kia Rio 1.6L C Honda city 1.3L A Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6L A Ford Focus 1.6L A Hyundai xcent 1.3L B Hyundai Elantra 1.6/2.0L
EDIT: let me add to the list B Toyota Corolla C Honda Civic B Honda Accord C toyota matrix C toyota echo C TOYOTA PRIUS B Subaru Impreza C Nissan versa B/C literally any small Volvo
Will add as I think of more |

I don't want to say this because of some people's perception towards naija used cars; but if I were you, I would patiently look for a very good naija used car and start with that. How long more will it take you to save 2m? And Corolla, which is probably your choice, might have been far costlier than 2m by then. Toks coro are even mostly sold for 2m+ now. OmodavidoX: Good evening house,

Low rating and cancellation from riders will kill your biz. Advisable you go for a 2003+ car (though some 2002 cars aren't different from 2003, e.g. big daddy) Good luck. |

Knowing the antecedents and poor reputation of the owner of this so called dealership, anyone planning to buy a car from them should be very careful for the following reasons:
-selling flooded cars while hiding the flooded history
-selling cars with no or fake custom duty
3.-tendency to post all your private information and details online if there are any issues along the line
A word is enough

You're always triggered to attack people's personalities that you didn't even take your time to decipher what the young man was trying to say. You're just used to muddy fight. Haba! jpworld: 1: if you have a good paying job of 200k, apply another job and get something better, for your salary to be 200k you must have a good resume. So getting another job worth more than 200k isn't a problem, yet you stuck with driving uber for the past 3years?
You quit your job and use all your savings to buy a car, another lies, you were actually fired, and ur salary is no near 80k.
Lets analyze this, you have the saving already to buy a car and yes you bought the car, your job is not 7days, 7 nights. You can as well start driving weekends, to support salary.
a man with 200k, should reason as a big boy, not reason as someone they brought from village.
I don't follow the crowd, i know you lying and yourself know that.
Stop all this twist, i was doing something better, i was deceived into doing uber, shey you just arrive Lagos from abakaliki? |

You posted your drivers' profiles clearly showing their names, pictures and earnings. Seems to you, privacy comes to play only when it involves you or DL? what more data does your DL have from what you've posted about your drivers except perhaps address? Do you even care to know who gets to locate and know your drivers by mere posting their names and pictures here? I'm not hating you neither is my post about how you run your biz, check my posts, I didnt comment about whether you have cars or a fleet manager, but just respect your drivers and people with contrary opinion to yours. jpworld: If you wants to get 1million likes, write against jpworld.
I have never posted my drivers (DL) online, what i post is screen shot of conversation, and their earnings, how do you know the owner of the screen shot, I posted, those information are not sensitive information.
I have posted all my car plate numbers here, what i wont post is my DL and proof of ownership, that is inviting criminals.
I'm treating my drivers bad, but i have 8 drivers that havr worked with me for over 1year 3months, the rest are less than 6months.
There must be something I'm doing to keep them with me for that period.
Stop hating unnecessarily, focus on how to grow your business or save money from what you earn, or change ur lifestyle.
you keep wasting ur time, attacking me, I have done this to you people.

It is robbery to increase the charge in November/december just because the drivers earn more in that period but only come back to normal price in January/February period, if weekly charges can't be lowered below normal price in this period also. But wouldn't want to comment much on how people manage their investments as long as the drivers accept. radautoworks: Dru, I respect you because you keep your word but not that is NOT what jp said. Not then, not now, not ever. If he had said what you said above there wouldn't have been as big a backlash. Stop making excuses for him. He has broken every single agreement be has ever made on this forum yet tries to be everyone's police. He is a joke. Please don't put yourself next to him because it diminishes you.
Which reminds me, since we were recently talking about drivers adhering to the contract, is it in the contract that he can arbitrarily change the rental fee at any time if he feels they are making more? |

I dont have issue with him owing cars or not, or if he charges his drivers 100k per week, but the condescending manners he treats people and especially his drivers. This same man can post his drivers' details or anything online; names, pictures, earnings but can't do same about himself. Here is he hiding his details. Are his drivers less humans? I can say much about earning on dashboard, but what we do with the cash is relative base on our lives situation. It ingrained in me that anyone earning 150k monthly in Lagos is yet to have a life or clear resolution, a standard 3 bedroom now goes as far as 800k, that's like 5 months salary, children school fees and family upkeep. We have lot of work to do, than drawing unnecessary attention, ppl make much more than this, make up artist and Co that carries iPhone 11 up and down, don't even loud their income.
