Good luck. Please be more concerned about a job/employer that will rpobably extend your visa for 2 years or so. It is better you get an employer that pays moderate salaru and extends your visa than and employer that pays higher amount but eventually watches your visit visa runs out.

People use EOD, DC for uber, I even know someone who uses CRV. He just needs to handle the car himself as drivers might not handle it well

Even if he doesn't have enough integrity to call the rider and inform him about the overpay, he should be reasonable enough to refund the rider the moment the rider called to ask for the refund.

It is well boss, may we not see temptation above us. A rider alert dropped twice this week, even with his rudeness and not being aware of such mistake, I reach out to him and ask for his account. Honestly! If I say it didn't cross my mind to later the guy, coupled with his attitude as justification, but I knew the regret will eat me up and won't b able to take pride in myself with time... How people allow little things that wont solve their life problems entice them is beyond comprehension. But like the earlier poster said, you may go to the bank to confirm and update your acct.

Just called him and the guy was arrogantly asking why cant the rider be patient till he will transfer tomorrow. Asked Why not do the transfer now, he stopped talking. He's a thief

This are the kind of bad eggs we have among us drivers. How can a this driver be so heartless that he refused to refund rider's money.

A trip of 11km 21mins and yet he clicked arrived 25mins before he truly arrived which boost the fare to N4500, That wasn't the problem and the rider never complained about the fare.

The problem here is that. The rider sent 45,000 naira instead of 4,500 naira and the driver blocked the rider's line after he call him back to notify him of the excess transaction.

The rider called me, who was the previous driver that dropped him at his 1st location to report the incident.

After calling this driver, my line was equally block. I have tried my best since morning telling the rider to be patient so the driver won't be blocked but to what end. The driver already blocked my number too.

Sometime ago I heard about LADRI and Hackney permit wahala.

Lest I forget, after dropping your rider, don't wait/stop if you go to intl airport. I was caught one day just for stopping to lock my booth which a rider didnt close well. If you have to stop, move out of the entrance gate first.

Sometime ago I heard about LADRI and Hackney permit wahala.

I'm not too sure about those aforementioned docs, but if all things are equal, All you really need are DL, vehicle papers, insurance (third party/comprehensive) and inspection report.

About lagos road, just don't park by the major road side. Look for open place like front of shops/complexes, hotel, bank. Just avoid parking at major roads. You'll learn with time.

Don't be disturbed by the LASTMA news or getting to know Lagos road, you will be fine sincerely, there is no big deal.

In Abuja over time I have learnt the dos and don'ts and areas not to dare pick rider and I am very familiar Abuja road.

My major challenge is Lagos is that I am not familiar with the road network and fear of NURTw thugs/lastman and all.

I would really appreciate if someone can give me hint of how Lagos hustle is like and tips that might guide me daily.

Ever wonder why they change engine like brake pads in Nigeria? Penny wise, pound foolish.

I'd rather have regular business from my customers on the RIGHT oil for their car than encourage them to pinch pennies on their oil so I can sell them an engine down the road for one lump sum. The mechanics (and I use that term lightly) advising people to use it, is that what THEY are putting in their cars? That's all I have to say because I'm trying to reduce my stress.

I think it is semi synthetic oil .. I don't use or sell it ....

It isn't bad as a cheaper option to Mobil 1 for a car doesn't mandatorily have to be synthetic
