Ashamed of a C-section? I can never be ashame of this experience o.

Honeysweetest this would help to seek out other moms who also had C-sections and talk to them about their experiences. There are loads of us. but some are just ashamed to say it out.

My BS.

I give God all the glory for a safe delivery. I was seriously praying for an early baby, I didn't want to get to my EDD not to talk of to be overdue, so I started taking pineapples early....yet there was no show.

On the 39th week I went for my ANC and the doc told me madam, get ready to be admitted, from your history we can't let u be overdue....

That scared me, then he sent me for scan, the scan showed baby was 4.4kg, doc then said I must undergo Cs as I can't risk falling into labour.

He said my baby might be distressed and I may loose him.
I started crying o, fear of CS.
I called hubby, he said ah why CS? I explained, then he said ohk.

The matron on duty was very nice, she explained to me that all that mattered was our safety ( my baby and I).

I remember asking for views from thia group, and many momas advised me to listen to my doc.

I remember what my younger sis told me when I broke the news to her ' e no matter how Dem take cool jollof rice, wetin matter na, make e done and make e sweet...'.

So finally we paid that afternoon for the CS,
Fear started to set in....I remember some terrible stories I heard about CS and all. I started working on my Fears, I made sure i fed my Faith and starved my fears with the scriptures and songs.

The next morning I was wheeled into the theatre...as they lifted me into the table, fear wanted to come again ....

I held onto my faith, and reminded myself that I promised my daughter her brother will be out soon....I held onto that hope....and became more positive.

Then I was given the injection ( don't know the name) then from my tummy down went numb.

Jeez! that's the scariest part of CS.....I couldn't feel my legs at all, it was as if I was in another planet, lol

The docs were gisting with me and teasing me to lift my leg and get a huge reward, I started singing praises to God, and within 10mins of administering that injection, I heard my baby's cry.

My joy knew no bounds....nothing mattered anymore than seeing them clean him up.

Within few minutes I heard. Madam we are done congratultions. Wow! ...I never knew delivering a child could be that quick.

I was checked and they confirmed I was stable, so I didn't waste time in the recovery room at all, I was wheeled back to my ward.

I started walking the next day ( it was painful tho) by the 3rd day it reduced a bit, and on the 5th day we were discharged.

I am still recovering and will like tips on how to heal fast

My advise to every woman is this: if your doctor says Cs will save ur life and that of ur baby, pls adhere.

Hebrew women delivery is mother and baby alive.
Whether via vjay or Cs. Let us not let religion and sentiments mess with our heads

CS is not bad. Infact I told my hubby that if they keep labour pain and cs pain...I will pick Cs pain...

Never knew delivering a child could be that easy.

I wish the remaining mother's a safe delivery.

My prince charming arrived today via elective CS weighing 3.7kg.
I'm glad I listened to my doctor. CS isn't a death sentence at all.

BS will be submitted later.
Thanks to all the momas that came through for me when I was in my moment of confusion

Wishing all my September teamies an easy pisey delivery with no loss.

Doctor knows best in my opinion. His advice is from a professional standpoint.4.4kg is a very big baby to birth naturally.

Pls is 4.4 too much a weight to try normal delivery?
I had a still birth in my first pregnancy
Gave birth to my princess the following year weight was 3.5kg

Doc said I have to undergo cs at 39weeks Cox of the weight of the baby.

BA!!! My baby boy landed on Sunday morning at exactly 6: 30am. Labour was something else but God took control. I will share my testimony later. Thanks everyone for your love, care and prayers. SD to all expectants mum.

I'm fine moma. Trusting Lo to come out early...the wait is long....it's not yet my EDD Sha, but I want an early baby mbok. Don't worry Lo will come when it's time.

Very expensive...bought everything for my first baby from them and I regretted later when I saw cheaper prices, especially online. I buy online from monmartt or babybliss.

A friend went to the woman in suleja and spent just a little under 150k for her baby things. It is not even up to half of what I spent at onestopbaby
