Happy Saturday momas in the house....all waddling momas, how una dey?

Abeg when can one start taking dates and pineapple? I really really want to port pls.

Also me I'm yet to make delivery hair o, I have braided wig I'm using, the tots of making hair ehn is scary, cox I remember the last time...I felt like cutting off my hair, so I was considering carrying my natural hair to the delivery room, then make the hair after my baby's arrival.

Biko sabi momas, will I have time to make the hair after delivery, or shud I just make it now?

Went for antenatal today and I was placed on bed rest due to very high blood pressure....ur prayers are all I need....

Dats the spirit, keep professing positively, our God is not a God of confusion, pls do midnight prayers too. Increase ur faith in God by reading his word and praying fervently, thereafter gobfor scan by next week in a diff. Hospital. May God perfect all that concerns that pregnancy and make u come here and testify. Amen

@Liliesbud12 & Peggygee, doctor is saying I should come to evacuate baby before I start to bleed heavily & get infected. I rejected it and went home because God cannot bring me this far to abandon me. I am at home praying and confessing positive to my baby. Also, doctor said I should get absolute bed rest & not stress myself.

Fear not...go down on ur knees and pray to God. Tell him to perfect all that concerns u and ur pregnancy, he will validate it the next time you go for scan. Meanwhile rest , and don't do any strenuous job.

Mamas, pls I am 9 weeks & 2 days today & started spotting this morning. Went for scan & it says "Gestational sac seen but no fetal pole" & it measured my baby as 6 weeks,1 day. My gynae says it's an impending miscarriage as my pregnancy is not viable. Please mama's what do I do?

Can't say confidently that I've been feeling Braxton but baby has been more active sha.

I bot all three oh. Will take receiving and blanket to hospital for delivery then probably use shawl for naming. I got a cream shawl but blanket is multicouloured.

I think receiving blanket is the cotton one. You'll need it to handle baby on a daily basis to minimize skin contact with potentially troublesome surfaces, including hands that are not so clean.

Tnks moma , I didn't even look at it a second time coz I had concluded that I won't buy it. Cox the doc that attended to me during my ANC said 8 mnths is a no no. She even had to go and ask another doctor ,n that one said she shud prescribe for me, I dnt knw if she told him how far Ive gone, I'm.just scared of being a victim of some1's inexperience . God help me.where ever I'm buying the drugs, I will ask the pharmacist if its safe for me.

I don't know anything about bitter leaf water safety for preggy woman.

Tnks moma, I will just buy the drugs tomoro. I knw its malaria, cox my urines tells it all, and the symtoms I mentioner to her made her say it malaria,but I shud do test. My problem is why will some say its not safe at 8mnths, and she said it is? I knw doctors usually makes mistakes sometimes, I dnt just want to be a victim of their mistakes. I just dey fear.

So I fell I'll again, and decided to see my doc. On getting g there one young doctor recommended me to take malaria tablets. The last time I went for ANC, the doc that attended to me said once some1 is 8mnths u can't take malaria tablets. I'm confused o.

Some1 told me to take bitterleaf water, that a nurse recommended that for her wen she had malaria @8mnths,

The first button on your left is for the electric burner(bigest plate near the wall you don't need a match for this one)

The second button is for the oven top (when you open it and look up you will see it.

The third knob is for the lower oven burner(also inside)

The fourth button is for the stove in front of the electric (biggest burner).

The fifth is for the smallest stove burner.

You turn all to your left, strike the match and then adjust to your preferred heating level.

I had to do a dating scan because obviously we can't rely on my lmp. You need to see the number of times I had to explain each time I'm asked my lmp by d nurses or consultants.
I had no ms, no nausea in fact, I enjoyed this pregnancy very well. Dh was just treating me like an egg, he serves me breakfast in bed, does house chores, cooks and take care of my children because I had no help then and to pacify me because I was angry that I was pregnant.
Fast forward to my third trimester, I was very sure I'll give birth in June because I've never gotten to my edd but this baby is different.
I had an attempted CS @ 36 weeks, prodromal labour for almost 2 weeks and I passed my edd.
On my edd, I went to the hospital to get checked and was told that my cervix is posterior although they could feel the baby's head. That's not new, I've been hearing this for weeks now and nothing yet. I was so tired of being pregnant so the prof suggested I take 4 tablespoons of castor oil with orange juice to see if the contractions will intensify. Everything I read about castor oil was bad news so I was skeptical about taking it. I tried walking, kpekusing, pineapple but no show.
Dh encouraged me to try only 2 tablespoons which I did on Sunday night. Monday morning I purged like crazy that I had to relocate to the toilet. I was getting weaker and weaker with no iota of contraction. I had to take ors, Garri, bread to stop the diarrhea. After the whole thing, I swore never to smell castor oil again.
In the night, sleep travelled to sambisa because I slept d whole day. I left my room and went to the sitting room and prayed. I told God that I'm tired of being pregnant and just want the baby out. I went back to lie down around 2:30 am. I woke up @ 3:15 am to pee and had this strong painless contraction with strong pressure on my pelvis. I went back to bed and had another one @ 3:55am. I told my Dh that it's like I need to get to the hospital. I wasn't too sure because of my experience with false labor. I had my bath, got my children ready for school, prepared their lunch and left for the hospital. I got there some minutes past 6 and vomited immediately I got there. The midwife tried to check how far I've dilated but my membrane was bulging out. They started arguing whether to break my water or allow d contractions to do it, I no send them, I just lay on my left side and was Jejely reserving my energy. The head of nurses came in and asked them to break the water, immediately I felt d urge to push. I just screamed, I want to push ohhh. The asked me to hold on so they'll be sure I was fully dialated which I was. My first push, small poo came out. The nurse urged me to continue that it's her duty to clean me up .
One more push, the head came out followed by the body without a tear, weighing 4kg.

Team September how are we? Me I'm so tired, that the countdown seems like forever.....I fell ill yesterday, took para, but still felt feverish, I was told to take bitterleaf water today, which I did. No longer feeling feverish but still having mild headaches...
