Politics › Re: Ekiti Election Result: Omokri, Dele Momodu React To Fayemi’s Victory by pek(m): 2:31pm On Jul 15, 2018
franchasng:
if truly Fayose is owing Ekiti State civil servants 7 - 9 months salary, then Fayose is a bloody fool to do that while criticizing Buhari on media daily. Unless Federal government intentionally stopped giving Ekiti state her own national allocation for the past 7 months, if not, Fayose should be arrested, what nonsense angry
Yes it is true. He paid #3000 to civil servants on Thursday for them to go and vote. That's more of an insult to injury.

There is nothing wrong with annnouncing counted and collated results. They have agents present at all wards. This is a way of curbing manipulation of counted results.

Politics › Re: Solomon Dalung Summons Kazaure, NYSC DG Over Adeosun’s Certificate by pek(m): 11:40am On Jul 12, 2018
clarocuzioo:
Mr. minister, is it summoning DG NYSC or first asking Adeosun where she got the "fake " certificate from.
This is like summoning a V.C. of a university to come and explain a fake certificate of his school being paraded by somebody without first asking where the person got the certificate from.
Adeosun should issue a statement confirming or denying that NYSC issued the purported certificate.

We are seriously watching the drama, but one thing is certain, Mrs.Adeosun is parading a fake exemption letter.
Dalung has no right to ask or summon Kemi. What he said is very proper. NYSC is part of his ministry and as such, can summon the DG.

almajiri101:
High ranking my foot, he got the job through man no man tactics. I was once a corp member and i know the process.

This man is either incompetent or paid to fool himself around. Why would someone say exemptions are not done through application and only meant for above 30yrs?

Redeployment and exemptions are done through application and it has to be on genuine and convincing reasons
You are disgracing yourself with every word you type.
Politics › Re: Premium Times And The Hatchet Job Against Kemi Adeosun by pek(m): 6:51am On Jul 11, 2018
geometricaxis:
There is nothing to manipulate, the law on eligibility is clear. The certificate will be revoked and she will resign. Otherwise as we get closer to elections she will become a liability as the opposition will seize on the issue. She has no political base so she is expendable.

If APC have any sense they would start looking for a replacement and take the heat now knowing the matter will die down come 2019 elections. if they had any sense they would throw her under the bus and claim it shows they do not tolerate sharp practice blah blah.
100% on point. Sacrificing her now will even be a plus for them.
Politics › Re: Premium Times And The Hatchet Job Against Kemi Adeosun by pek(m): 6:44am On Jul 11, 2018
@slayer1914 I think you are doing more of a hatchet job than you can think. In trying to defend the minister, you are exposing her the more. There are salient issues you have wittingly and tactically failed to address. Is/was the minister qualified for an exemption? Have you for once pontificated that she might have applied for an exemption certificate, was turned down hence the forgery? If you say there wasn't any forgery, how come her certificate is different from others issued at the same period?

Christianity Etc › Re: Paul Adefarasin Displays Super Eagles Jersey With Prayers by pek(m): 3:23pm On Jun 17, 2018
The problem with us is that we pray over everything thinking that our prayer will substitute hardwork and excellence. Our countries went with strong preparation but we went with prayer. Let's see how far it will take us.

Let me not dwell on the pointless points you raised but concentrate on the last. Number 12 is the reason we remain backwards in all we. We believe pray is all we need to excel in everything. The other countries don't pray or don't they believe in God too? Why don't you pray we win the world cup?
