Please has anyone heard about SAIGON BUSINESS SCHOOL? A relative of mine got admission there, about to pay his tuition deposit but I’m a bit skeptical about Vietnam . We were also told he will be getting a one month visa before leaving Nigeria and upon arrival in Vietnam he would apply for a student permit/visa. Please how true is this information? |
Please can anyone suggest the fastest means (bank inclusive) of making tuition deposit. We have barely two weeks left to bit the deadline. Thanks for your anticipated response. |
karryprincess:I don’t think you need to generate another. We got our biometrics and medical request mid November, but due to some challenges we were able to do it first week in January (dependent and spouse). Three weeks after approvals came in. Please note that after lodging your application if biometrics is not done, your application won’t be looked at. Try do it as soon as you can. My personal experience |
Please has anyone used Sydney airport recently? Learnt that lately Nigerian foods are not allowed except when industrially packaged. If packed in ziplocks and properly labeled they still get them seized. Please someone should help reconfirm this information. |
mateentechy:It all depends on the visa officer. You can be asked. Talking from experience.... AL1 school. Just be sure you have it handy, if requested and it’s ok by the VO be sure to get your approval. |
Please is there a Nigerian Wattsap group for people in Sydney? Or Uni Newcastle Sydney campus? |
AussieJoan:Thanks so much |
Please does anyone know anything about SA transit visa? |
slimyshady30:Check your email. |
Good day everyone!! Please is there anyone traveling next month or recently just left? Need to find out what airline is best to use. I checked Qatar airways, it’s almost $2300 for a one way ticket (March). Must one get a return ticket too? |

Softkey:Ok thanks a lot |
Please what’s the implication of getting a new passport after visa grant (before traveling), would it affect one’s traveling even if the person goes with both old and new passport ? Note: Reason for passport change...... Extention of validity. |
inegbenosun190:Thanks for your response. |
Please for those submitting application in Abuja, what’s the timeline for decision? Want to be sure before making the booking payment. Also a payment of 22,500 was requested while booking appointment. Is theat the visa fee? Confused...... |
aieromon:Thanks so much, I had to apply afresh, but wasn’t vaccinated since I already did. I paid 2800 and got the card. |
seunfoster:Please were you able to get an appointment? |
Please is there a way one can get a replacement of the yellow card? I have been vaccinated but my card got missing. |
Good day all. Please is it still possible for one to get biometrics done before the year ends? We checked VFS Lagos for date but kept getting error messages. can one walk in to have it done? Application has been submitted. Just biometrics and medicals left. Thanks |
Softkey:ok thanks so much. |
Please Guru’s in the house, it’s time for visa application. what’s your take on being open about visa denials in the past on your GTE forms and SOP especially when you have almost 5 denials from 5 different countries since 2013 to date? Please your advice is needed urgently, thanks |
Pls does anyone know the avrg processing time for visiting visa at the moment? |
Good day everyone. Been a silent reader, congratulations to all whose visa has been granted. |
JesusAndMe:Ok, thanks so much for the information. I ll look out for the requirements and try again. |
hopcious:Thanks a lot. Yeah I think the spousal visa is for PR holders and citizens. He’s neither of them. That’s where the confusion comes. I don’t know if he can send me an invite with his current status. Or do I just apply as a tourist? Pretty confused. I really want to do it right this time. |
hopcious:Thanks for your response. All documents were intact. The reason stated for denial was there wasn’t proof between the host and myself. Meanwhile it was his uncle who has a PR that sent the invite before we got married. Now we are married, I want to know if his current status (business permit) can allow him send me an invite. |
Good day everyone. Please I’ll need suggestions/advice. I applied for a visitors visa in March before I got married, but my passport was taking long to get back to me, so my spouse came back a month later and we got married. We waited almost a month after marriage , and the passport wasn’t still sent back. He had to go back to SA, hoping I’d get my passport back with visa in it. Sadly I was denied after 2 months of waiting. Now I want to reapply. we have been joined legally, he’s on a business permit. What type of visa should I apply for and what are the requirements ?please I would really appreciate if I’m being attended to. Thanks. |
Quite sad that applications take this long for an African country. My prayer is that it ends in praise. |
Zeus666:When did you submit your application? Plus was it in Lagos? |
Hmmmmmm 8 years later, i'm still alive and living the best of my life. I'm indeed a testimony. i decided to surf the net for this particular news and here we are, people criticising those affected. my prayer for you is that you ll never experience what we did. i was a victim. i had graduated, defended my project, finished my clearance for NYSC and boom, the list came. i was shattered, depressed, hopeless and helpless. Today i'm a first class graduate of economics from an European school (got a sponsor who wasn't my parent), came back to Nigeria in 2016, did my NYSC, got retained where i served and just February of 2019, i was offered a scholarship in same school to do an MBA. I'm here in Europe at the moment doing just fine. Lesson learnt: its never too late, and for everything that happens in life, there is a reason. God allows them just for His glory. Never give up. ![]() |
Wow..... You really an attention seeker. Your reply this time was rather too brief. Keep speaking English. I pray you never get into problems in the near future cos more than this stupidity you ve just exhibited is what you ll get. Bye. AfonjaBoston: |
