This forum was organized by someone who had aligned with the government but got his fingers burnt by that same person.

when his business was attacked then he realized this was getting serious so he had to go behind the scene and do another alliance.

so he decided to call a meeting that would be held and hosted by his boy, but since he no longer has an alliance with the guy who broke his heart, he had to look for the people on the right to align with. After all they are fighting for the same course.

I don't believe this meeting was a planned meeting, it was an emergency meeting set up by one guy.

That guy should be punished for setting up that meeting so that he will cry out, and tell Nigerians that he was sorry for making that wrong decision some years back.

Even though he has learnt his lessons, I believe he should learn more. and cry out while learning.

1) Ptad actually summoned a stkhlders mtng on 6th Oct. during which it was cfmd dat Our details were being transfered from Nitel computer system to Ptad. System
2) Timetable for verfctn wl be released as soon as the core federal civil servants are cnclded. Right now they are in Ibadan next and last is Northeast.
3) truly the Aften group showed up at d meetg n said they want 20years bulk payment. Ptad replied that their power is limited to monthly pensions ONLY. Anyone asking for bulk pension buyout should LOOK ELSEWHERE.
4) NITEL PENS ASSO wrote a letter same day to PTAD Dissociating itself from the activities of the AFTEN.
5) The verifctn wl go on as when due. Hence we shld hv all relevant docs ready including BVN (Card/printout wt photo from Bank), Age declaration and All the 4 docmnts scanned to Ptad.
6) As soon as the Timetable is out, we shld approach our Bank for Bank statement of the last 1-2 months.

Before your mass exodus to the SW like bees after the civil war, Yorubas were doing excellently well such that we scored many firsts in Africa while you wallow in penury in your regions.

A bird from somewhere informed me that the PTAD DG said there will be a stakeholders summit on Nitel/Mtel Pensioners to iron out the issues that have arisen and harmonize positions arising from all the attendant lawsuits and legal cases.This is as a result of the actions of some people such as the Oluti group and others who i am very sure are acting out of selfish ulterior motives. We know what some people did to cut deals for themselves during the last bulk payment to pensioners in 2011/2012. This means more delays. We don't know when this summit will hold. If it holds hopefully in this month of September which i doubt(knowing how government bureaucracy works) then verification may enter November. If the summit holds in October, then verification may enter December. In all honesty, I see this whole process entering first quarter 2018 or even later. I was really hopeful payments will start this year but its not looking so. God give everyone the patience.

Are Nigerians the only Africans in South Africa ? All the victims were accused of involvement in drugs and everybody hypocritically avoided that angle. The recent xenophobic attacks on Africans were majorly for reasons of drugs which were destroying South Africans and Nigerians were the chief culprits. The recent church massacre at Ozubulu was traceable to drug war amongst Ozubulu members of drug cartels originating from South Africa. After the xenophobic attacks and the resultant outcry, the police must've zeroed in on the main brains behind the drugs trade and decided to deal with it. Shedding crocodile tears will not help but to say the truth. Some blame the government for seeming inaction but i wonder which government worth it's salt will raise a dust over criminal elements who put the country to shame. Other countries export professionals that make their nations proud while a particular section of Nigeria specialises in exporting criminals who soil the image of the country with their "developping" mentality.
A problem told, they say, is a problem half-solved.
