Wow..that's huge. Thank you. I am someone that is scared of surgery esp as I read where patients said they had complications after the surgery. Also what symptoms were you having before you approached the hospital? Did you have pains? How does it feels down there now after you've had the surgery? Big scars?

The two major condition for surgery are low sperm count or pains. You can have varicocele and not need surgery. I did surgery cause of discomfort down there. Secondly I impregnated my wife b4 surgery but I guess my morphology was poor hence she lost the pregnancy early. Surgery only improved the quality of sperm and stoped d discomfort hence my baby has survived thus far.

Thank you sir for your response. In my own case, I'm feeling pains in the left side of my scrotum and lately, I have noticed pains coming from the right side also. The pain is usually mild but quite discomforting and atimes the pains tend to increase, such that I have to place ice block on it just to numb the area. Please can you give me idea how much the Surgery costs?

I did surgery for varicocele and was placed on addyzoa but I added maca tabs and ate cashew nuts regularly. The surgery was done august ending. My wife is about 5 months pregnant now. I know someone whose wife got pregnant barely 2 weeks after surgery. Most men seek gynacologist advice instead of urologist hence drugs like addyzoa don't give dem results. Only a urologist can diagnose varicocele. My advice, know the cause of infertility B4 treating low sperm count.

Good day. I'm just happy to come across your post. I am having some pains in my left scrotum so i went to hospital and was asked to Do scrotal Scan. Doc said I have Varicocelle. Unfortunately I didn't follow up or get back to the Doctor because of the expenses and moreso because I thought I could endure the mild pains and discomfort. It has been up to a year since the Diagnosis. But seeing your post am having worries whether my sperm could be affected severely by this Varicocelle.
NOTE: The left side of my Scrotum feels warm while the right feels cold and lately I'm starting to feel some pains on the right side too. What do you think I should do. Am so worried!
