Egbon, I agree with you. But please tell me why Akwaibom girls have deep rooted hatred for Yoruba men. My experience in their hands was not palatable at all and on the other hand, I noticed that very many Akwaibom girls are married to Igbo men.
I have a brother from Okitipupa, Ondo. He had almost the same experience. Why?

I am just narrating my experience in Akwa ibom as a result of their mentality about Yoruba men. Akwa Ibom women have this deep hatred for my people Yorubas and Igbo's are the cause of it(from my research) Most people I met When I left Oshogbo to Akwaibom, always told me of their sisters married to Igbo men. I think Akwaibom people really have to change their view of Yoruba man. Not all of us Yorubas are ritualists. Our Yoruba women also have to improve. Look at how Igbo women have taken over Ondo state through their sister who is wife of Ondo governor and even calling the shots.

When I travelled to Akwaibom from Ogbomosho, I experienced huge yorophobia. But I discovered that the indegines prefer to marry Igbo. Most of the guys I met where we worked told me how their sisters married Igbo and himself planning to do same. But their women have sworn never to have anything to do with Omo Yoruba but The thing is I don't care. But I love how beautiful and clean their women looked unlike the women am used to in Oshogbo and Ilesha(my maternal side).

Well for me, As a Yoruba man I will like to travel and live in Akwa-Ibom. Currently I live in Oshogbo, but the environment is not encouraging for a young man to start a family. Tired of waking up and seeing the decayed environment and Brown roofs.
The last time I went to Akwa-Ibom, the level of Yorobaphobia I experienced is not nice at all. You will always meet people who will tell you one ugly experience they had with a Yoruba man or woman. Most told me how a Yoruba man will marry their sister and kill her with Juju for ritual money and then remarry a Yoruba woman. They have this hatred for the Yoruba Muslims. But I like their women Sha, they are very clean unlike our own.

yeah to be honest. When i went to akwa ibom I faced serious igbophobia from the indigenous people especially their females who swore never to marry an igbo man whereas their males liked igbo girls and to roll with igbo guys stories have been passed down generation to generation that one igbo man who married from there used the lady for blood money rituals, after she died he went back to the east to marry an igbo woman and enjoy his new found family with proceeds from blood money of his previous partner. So the prejudice and fear haven't died even till now. So it's always wise to know or have a slight experience of a location before you move over there. So you don't regret your decision ( based on what you're looking for ).

So I can't really say which state I'd like to relocate to, UNTIL something carry me go the state on a short visit and after my return, I will want to go back.

I think passenger traffic is what determines the size of aircraft that is deployed for that route. While heavy traffic for AIA is not in doubt, Airpeace should allow market forces to determine their fleet size and not just for show off. Most Big Airline companies are selling off their Big planes because of the new economic reality caused by Covid-19

When completed, the Chief Willie Obiano International Airport Umueri will become the busiest airport in the whole SE/SS region. Indeed it is an enduring legacy project from the governor that all will always remember him for.

In my opinion, just leaving the Airport as Anambra International Airport would be better so that the airport's image will not be laced with political connotation. For Example, imagine a situation whereby a future governor is not in good terms with Obiano, but because the airport is named after such a person and in other to hurt Obiano's image, such a gov may choose not to give the airport the much needed attention. So it is in view of this that I think it will be tactical for the airport to not be named after any politician.
