As an Igbo man, I dont like Tinubu at all. But it is important to note that many Igbos in the South East dont know who Tinubu is. Tinubu has never been a national figure, he was just the Governor of a State

However, here are 4 reasons

1) Igbos dont like God fathers and the fact that Tinubu still decides who will become Governor of Lagos state, many years after leaving that position, is nauseating to most Igbos

2) Tinubu's contribution to bringing in the disastrous regime of Buhari dont not make him a friend of most Igbos

Buhari, out of his deeply sooted heart deprived the entire country of progress because he hates Igbos. Get this, the Igbos have the resources to power the entire Nigeria for almost two thousand years without power disruption. The two biggest economies in the world still run on coal while the 44th biggest global coal reserve, Nigeria remains in darkness because a man from the North feels hatred for the Igbos.

The coal industry located in Enugu state is shut down, completely non-functional. Our reserve is simply wasting in the earth while we are dying of hunger and poverty. The coal industry was built by the British and it provided for millions of homes. But the Northerners have eyes only for the oil. They have seized all the oil wells and shared them giving some to the westerners. The southerners are left to die. They are called barbaric for fighting for their sustenance, a gift bestowed on them by God. They have neither access to the oil or its sells. They give them peanuts and create enormous land, water and air pollution and land degradation. Houses are flooding and sinking. Their sons cannot even get good job position in these oil companies. If they agitate, they are killed and hushed.

The Abeokuta steel is a treasure in the west. Buhari and worse of all, Osinbajo had only one job in the west, the Abeokuta steel. hat industry would have fed the entire western Africa and killed the production cost for China's imports. Sadly, Buhari and his teams failed.

Baba knows how he became president. It was practical sentiments in favour of the Southwest. In 1999, the then two major political parties chose Yoruba candidates in the persons of Chief Olu Falae of the AD/APP alliance and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo of the P D P. The Yorubas massively supported Chief Olu Falae but most other tribes including the Igbos supported Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who became the president. The 1999 template can still be repeated with each major political party presenting an Igbo as their presidential candidate. I believe Nigeria will be better. God bless you.

So why was the mood different when Western countries were the ones launching the attacks? Why were no sanctions slapped on the U.S. or the UK? Why was there no global outrage when it was the people from non-Western countries suffering?

It's the hypocrisy of the West at its best.
