After looting our TWO BILLION DOLLARS that you have refused to account for why didn't you use it to buy drones? Why have you refused to support getting criminal pdp to account for the money which they can use in supporting GEJ siblings? Shameless people
you're a big fool for this heartless comment. more than 100 soldiers died after this useless government claimed to have bought equipment worth 1 billion dollars and you're still here blaming the past administration

I swear to God we really have greedy and selfish leaders who are also extremely clueless as to how to move the country forward.

When i moved to USA...i saw firsthand the difference between an industrialised country and a third world.

When you read it in textbooks you wont really understand how advanced and how backward we really are.

They have machines for everything such they can produce anything in large quantities and quickly too.

Just one simple policy of removing import duties for "production machines and health care equipment" for the next 8 years will create massive employment for millions of Nigerians because small business owners and medium scale manufacturers can up their game.

I have a south african friend who told me there is no import duty for Agriculture equipment in his country.

But Nigerian government na lie. They will promise to create create employment but they do not understand that its not their job to create jobs.

..all they need to do is to deliverarely create and sustain an enabling environment for entreprenuers and investors to create those jobs by opening amd expanding their various businesses.

A favourable climate for business is one in which we have the following:

1. Adequate security of lives and property...not one where soldiers, policemen and herdsmen and cultists are killing citizens indicriminately.

2. Stable banking system where the banks are healthy enough to loan to the real sector and so citizens can borrow to build their own houses or buy flats in a residential estate.

3. Removing import duties on equipment designed for manufacturing, cultivating crops, building houses and roads for a certain period.

4. Have a solid tranport system..( Road, Rail, and Air and water)...for the safe ease and quick movement of goods...a good road into a deserted area opens up that area for reaidential and commercial activity

5. Transperent judicial system where justice is not for sale to the highest bidders but is swift and also fair .

6. Massive building of world class craft schools in nearly every major and minor city...where anyone can be trained in a specific craft with the most modern tools availabe.

On graduation they are issued two things 1. A Federal business license that can be verified by any customer on a public database 2. Start up capital of 500k....( Try this in the north and see if it wont get all those almajiris off the streets.)

The effect of quality training and licencing is that quality of work and uniformity/standard will become the norm. Instead of the "anything goes" that is obtainable now.
we need people like you at the helm of affairs in this country

Atiku will get more votes than Buhari in the East by a small margin but these votes be inconsequential due to the fact that people in East don't have PVC.

The battleground will be in the Southwest as Tinubu tries to show OBJ who runs things there.

There will be sai Buhari chants all over the North during the election. Buhari is a religion there. He will sweep the north and win the next election with a landslide victory.

If this is true then it means these guys will ensure that Atiku will not have an impressive outing in the SouthEast. Atiku better take this impasse very serious and give it the urgent attention it deserves before it fatally damages his chances. If he loses their support and consequently fails to do well in the SE then he should consider his ambition dead-on-arrival.
the opinions of a few disgruntled governors do not determine who we vote for. I'll for atiku even if they campaign against him, and I'm sure most people in the East will too

Despite the fact that I'm a strong born again Christian, i think Muric is right on this one. We Christians have mapped out ways to marginalize our Muslim counterparts and it's a very dangerous template for the unity of the country. I sympathize with every muslim who has been a victim of persecution from the policies of we Christians. I'm one of the few honest Christians who will never shy away from the truth. Muslim right is been stepped upon by we Christians and sometimes i wonder the conspiracy going on in the minds of we so called Christians. If i come to this world again, i won't hesitate to join Islam. sad

Travel › Re: Have You Ever Been Stranded While Traveling? Share Your Experiences. by PerfectlyPerfect(m):
This happened during Benin election period 3 years ago. I was heading to Ogun for NYSC clearance from Owerri. I called my LI and told him to allow me come on Friday to do the clearance but he said I must come on that Thursday. I packed my bag on Wednesday and left early Thursday morning to Ogun. we got to Delta/Benin boundary around 10am and that was where we found out that the boundary between the 2 started had been blocked because of the election.
It was really heartless of the government but everyone heading to the Western part of the country from the East had to wait there till 6pm. When they allowed us to pass, the traffic jam the was massive. We eventually got to Ogun by past 12am. Everywhere was really dark. That's a police checkpoint at J4 Junction where I was meant to stop and I had planned to show the policemen stationed there that I was a corper so they'll let me pass the night with them. It was too dark I didn't know when we passed that junction and I didn't know anywhere around. We got to a junction and from the few structures I could see, I knew I had passed where I was meant to stop. We got to a junction and I could see a light at a shop. there were 3 people there. I asked the driver to stop me there. everyone on the bus asked me to wait till we get to Lagos so I can pass the night at d park but I refused.
They stopped there and I walked up to the people at the shop and asked a woman there if there is any hotel close by but she said the closest hotel is at ijebu ode, that I'll have to wait for a bus heading in that direction. I waited by the road for 20 minutes but no vehicle passed. I knew I had to find a place to spend the night. By this time frustration don hol me. I told myself that if that night was the day I was going to die, do be it.
I saw a Chisco transport luxury bus closeby and thanked God. I knew some buses stop to pass the night when it gets very late. atleast I would spend the night with them. I walked to the bus and knocked and a man looked out and asked who I was and I explained my predicament and showed him my NYSC ID card and he opened the door.
my happiness vanished when I entered and it turned out that the bus was abandoned, everything inside was tattered and there was 2 more men inside the bus. I was alarmed. these men might rob me here or even kill me and no one will know.
I had to think of a way out. I told one of the men that I wanted to pee. he opened the door and told me to hurry up.
I came down for the vehicle and while peeing I saw a light on a mast not far from there. Also saw a fat woman sitting outside. there was no other building closeby.
I had to think fast. I told the man that I had met the woman before I came to the bus and that she had asked me to come and inform her if I find a place to sleep.
he said no problem but I should hurry.
I walked to the woman and explained my predicament. she took pity on my and told me I could come spend the night in the small security house attached to the mast.
That was where I stayed till morning. couldn't even sleep

Buterflyle0:
You should learn to use your head when talking.

Why would a sitting government want to jeopardize its own chances in office or ruin their chances for reelection by being behind these killings?

You began well when you talked about mercenaries being recruited.

These recruitments cost money and someone is obviously sponsoring it.

The only people capable of sponsoring acts of this nature are those determined to bring down this government via the use of the very people the President is tied to (Fulanis).

Only the opposition to the government who want to take back the seat of Presidency can apply all means in order to achieve this.

PDP is strongly behind these killings in Adamawa same way it is on record that they were behind Boko haram which has now gone a bit out of control.

Remember boko haram when they first started were strictly going after Christians and churches first until they went out of control and began going against Muslims too.

These ones have started the same way in order to create an religious conflict through totally senseless and unprovoked killings.

These sponsored attacks will not stop Buhari from returning to Aso rock come 2019 because Nigerians are wiser now and know that the opposition is behind all these unnecessary attacks and killings due to the desperation for power.
Keep blaming the opposition. Even if they're the cause of this, what has the government in power done to stop the killings? Buhari has been playing lip service to the herdsmen and you're here still deceiving yourself. Don't worry, when they reach your village, still keep blaming PDP

Bro read the post before foaming like soap. In a sane society facing this kind of challenge it's very important the security agency should be on ground to checkmate any criminal act.

So Nnwanne do you expect the police or the security operative to seat back and be watching and if any unrest break out you will be the first to shout marginalization and blame fed govt not providing security for the people.

Bro stop being too naive forget about tribalism let's face the fact no body or organisation had the right to give such order and want to enforce it on people bro it's not done truth is bitter.

Using the word *Fed govt making IPOB popular* is nonsense. What popularity is their to deal with misguided miscreants accordingly? I'm of eastern origin full blooded but not in support of all these muscle flexing rants to achieve a goal it make no sense to me. You can't be daring the govt simply you want something it will lead to explosion and heads will rolls.

There was a time the East were the one in charge of everything in Nigeria education, finance, business, security, govt plum positions then we did not shout marginalization but the moment the other region were trying to rearrange the situation Ojukwu came out due to his greed blew our chances off till today it's a fact I have just dropped take it or leave it. Confrontation is not way out ojukwu started it and ran away, Kanu came as the worst he absconded bro can't we learn or use other tactics than all these show of muscle?

A word for the wise mind.
