We are moving forward. |
benideey:That makes it reasonable. |
I just got a job from this tread. Much regards to ammyluv2002 and other posters. I am very much grateful. May God bless you all with great favour and positive surprises. I will be starting next week. |
joenor:Saturday and Sunday without a rollover is crap. It's a complete beautiful nonsense. |
It sells for N320 as at today. This is the worst Nigeria has ever experienced, and the problem is that we have not seen that programme or policy set out to cushion the situation. |
They are always very noisy, and can chat for 24 hours. They walk in pairs. They ask the most stewpeed questions, like: is this lecture hall for lectures? They are not frugal as the op alluded. They tend to buy unnecessary things, ranging from needless handouts, notes, materials and everything found in the campus that is well packaged. They snap a lot. They are always full of hopes until the first carryover. |
Horrific |
They didn't state whether the 3GB will last for a month (four weekends) or just one weekend. If the latter is the case, it means that one will be spending N500 on data for two days. We need smth better than all these ''give one, take two'' that these network providers are doing us. |
Na their biznes. |
MRBrownJ:The guy doesn't know that bank is an institution with machineries to appraise loans and monitor them. If an individual lends his money out, he stands a big chance of losing all. It's a business and bank has to make it's gain. |
I absolutely have nothing to talk about, yet I don't wanna pass unnoticed. |
You don't need a telescope to spot the lies in that post. |
You see, your problem is not falling out of love, but you have become used to him, and have allowed your feelings for him take the exit route because you feel that he will always be there to show U love regardless of ur odds. One thing is sure: it is not better outside. You should concern yourself on how to reinvigorate the dying love now that the guy has not usain-bolted, because it's clear that you are not requiting his love. Again, if you are sexually involved, you have to stop. Change activities, switch roles, give yourselves opportunity to miss each other, i.e. a temporary/limited space. |
I care less. PDP and APC are like conjoined twins. Interest of the masses in alien to their agenda. |
If I say what's on my mind, I may end up with a one year ban. |
I'd better keep my lips shut cuz anything I say will probably come out offensive. |

What makes you a Christian is being born again. That is when you are Christ-like. John 10:27 says: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish. If you dont hear His voice and dont follow Him, will you still be called His sheep that will receive the promise of eternal life? Don't be surprised if I tell you that Christianity is not a religion characterized by practices and procedures, but a mode of worship which is spiritual, and fulfillment of God's covenant.(Jer 31:31-34 & Jn 4:23). Christianity is a relationship with God and man built on love, without which, we are Judaists. |
Having nostalgia all through. |
obainosis4real:Permit me to avail you some background explications b4 answering ur question. Psalm 23:18 says "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off." Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Mark 11:24 says "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." An apt consideration of the above verses of the Bible shows that faith is the only way to transform the spiritual into physical and get ur desires actualized. Christianity is not just a religion (that is procedural and physical) but it's a spiritual (John 4:23, Jeremiah 31:33) relationship with God based on faith. There is difference between a Spirit guided prayer of faith and flesh based prayer of desire. Faith ought to be spiritually motivated and guided. That is why Paul in his letter to Colossians (1:9) says the he desire that they be filled with the knowledge of God's will, in wisdom and spiritual understanding. It is this spiritual understanding that helps us to know the right thing to ask for, in line with God's will. Now consider the below verses and you will understand why some prayers are not answered. Isaiah 30:21 says: "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."' This means that you should also seek God whenever you want to take any bold step. 1John 5:14 says that whenever we ask of anything according to God's will, He will answer. This means that your request ought not be guided by your fleshly desires, but under spiritual guidance, just as James 4:3 aptly put: "And when you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may squander it on your pleasures." Coming to your question. Every human endeavor requires God's guidance. God speaks to us in several ways, even through signs. If you love a lady so much and God shows you some signs (like the biblical handwriting on the wall) that she is not right for U, it will be to your own peril to go ahead. You dont wait until He holds ur ears and shouts into them or until u are bellied by a whale b4 u will heed to the signs.Just like when the Israelites demanded for a king and God told them He did not desire them to have one. They insisted, and God allowed them...you know the rest. When God shows you signs to follow right, and you decide to follow left because you feel it's the best, you will surely hit a rock. That is where faith parts ways with fleshly desires. The gift of discernment is one of the gifts every Christian should long to have. If for instance, you are courting a lady and u discover that both of you are AS, U are expected to gracefully quit. This is not the same as getting married thinking U are AA+AS only to discover U are both AS. I won't say that God will not answer ur prayer in the first instance above, but know that it's wrong to tempt God. In all, pray for His guidance, and when He guides, ensure U hearken to it. Of a truth, God's ways are not always smooth and don't always agree with our fleshly desires, but the end is always the best. I may not be entirely right. |
There are several spiritual tangents that have made there way into many churches through practices and doctrines. First, the Bible says that time shall come, and the time has come when believers shall worship God in truth and in spirit. There is no other mediator except Christ Jesus. What the above means is that finding God is personal. You mustn't come to church to connect to ur maker nor go through pastors. Again, God is not a puppet that can be commanded to do things like many are doing. Read ur Bible very well ask God for guidance and follow him the way he taught U. Many people may not make heaven because of their pastors and ministers. Many churches are more procedural than spiritual. Learn to pray and commune with ur God at ur private moment, then go to church to augment that. Ask God to teach U personally. |
What happens to "anything you ask in my name, believe that you have it and you shall have it. Well, on the flip side, many Christians, more especially the pastors, now qualify and quantify God's blessing with material gains. This has gotten to a stage that we believe God is owing us for serving Him or doing what He commanded. Many churches have forgotten the kingdom of God and are leading their members into seeking material wealth first. Faith is required to actuate our desires, yes, but some of the things we call faith are actually selfishness in disguise and irrational material lust, or putting God to test (like confronting a lion). There are situations that call for God's will to be done, but we are always afraid to ask for His will. For instance you cant see a beautiful lady with bad character and pray that God should change her character and make her ur wife, instead of asking God to show u ur wife. Sometimes we give God unnecessary conditions forgetting that He is not a puppet. We all need faith to function as Christians. Believe, don't entertain doubt, but let not ur fleshly desires take a lead, lest you become heavily disappointed. |
It is expected that those who came first should sit nearer to the altar where they will be less distracted and can hear the preacher clearly. There is nothing wrong in sitting at the back, but if there is an instructions against that, we should obey. Sometimes when there is a directive from the altar, don't disregard such. Holy Spirit has a way of doing things and sometimes is interested in the things we call inconsequential and disinterested in the things we hold with high esteem. He may direct ur pastor to make such demand that U come closer. |
Many pastors, I mean a good many, do that. May I ask U; how many times have U visited those in the hospital not related to U to say sorry and give ur small token? Rather you are here trying to censor and calibrate others. |
waltinnovers:The old line of priesthood has been abolished. Now we are all kings and priest, we dont need any other mediator apart from Jesus. As per tithing, it is no longer compulsory, and there are people entitled to it. They are those who actually need help like the Levites, widows, strangers, orphan. It is a sin to overlook ur hungry neighbour simply because u could not split ur tithe. In this modern era, tithe should be for the growth of the church and helping the helpless, but pastors see it as extra source of income... salary for their services in church. I'll rather learn how to give all (like the early disciples) to those who are in need, than doing the otherwise. |
analice107:I've been around ooo, but on the low key. Maybe I'm a bit more preoccupied now that 24hrs is barely enough. How have u been? I have a testimony that is coming soon, the battle is still on. |
dazzle101:Please bro Charles come and answer this question ooh. I gave somebody N1000 out of about N1,700 I was holding in the dream. He rejected N500 I gave to him first. I gave it to him out of love and sacrifice, though he didn't show appreciation. He was a stubborn brother/cousin in d dream....no such brother in real life. I was about going back to collect another money to augment the one left, as it was no longer enough as t'fare, when I woke up. We await ur answer Sir. @CharlyG1 |
