i don't know the duration of time we need to be on lock down but allowing free movement when we don't have any contingency plan for rapid increase in coronavirus cases in this country is a very bad idea

No solution is good or bad.... What we have is a necessary solution... Ghana has reopened.. Sweden didn't even lockdown shishi... SA is reopening may 1st....evry country is doing what is necessary.. But what are we doing in nígeria... Copy and paste.. So shameful

The way to look at it is : extended lockdown kills us economically. We will not survive that meaning lots if people will still die as a result. Keeping the lockdown will be until when exactly? Hunger and poverty will bring people out of their houses cuz they will be dead either way and no one can just sit and die when they can do something about the hunger at least. Get the economy back online first. A sick and hungry population will trigger some other pandemics like cholera. Ulcers will be widespread also. So unlike you, except you are ready to feed millions of people, do not advocate for continued lockdown. Better the country reopens and at least have something to gain than a lockdown that is a loose loose situation all round.

expect you are ready to bury millions of people (that if you are still alive yourself) you should stop advocating against lockdown. When thousands of people start to die on a daily basis in Nigeria i would hope you would be well fed

that's the point, the situation is not an easy one. I don't know any solution to this problem but saying we should reopen the country and put the lives of millions at risk with our inadequate health establishments is a bad solution

OP is very correct, Covid 19 is real but but its effects and the No of people infected is being exagerated. It's not as deadly as they are painting it. A doctor in the US recomended formular he used to treats hundreds of Covid victms to Trump, till now his method hasn't been aproved. There was also talk about the use of chloroquine to cure it, Trump initialy approved it after he denied approving. I just hope God open the eyes of our leaders here to see the reality and stop following the west blindly.

In my school there was a time we were protesting next thing we know sarz started to break people's door and to enter people's hostel before we know money, laptops and phones were missing. In any sane country if police is going to hold you on suspicion of any crime there should be evidence

See in every Nigerian university hostel or lodge there is at least one yahoo Boi in the lodge or hostel, this doesn't mean the remaining people in the hostel are guilty or are 419er. even if he was a criminal sarz people weren't interested in justice and they will even have to prove his guilt. If you went to school you would know and should have heard stories about sarz indiscriminately burguling students hostel under the guise of lookin for yahoo bois. What I am trying to say is it is very possible that has innocent person not because they were interested in justice but because they wanted to extort.
