Cardinal stone is intrested in UACN that is why they gave you only the wost case senario to deceive you. What about the best case senario? When you read always interpret critically.

I am very glad for one reason, they have confirmed the numbers we posted earlier.
You understand their SINISTER GAME very well.

In 2018 their target price was N23.70k did it happen? N0!

In 2019 their TP was N13.66k did it happen? NO!

Then this year that the unbuddling will take they yeye analyst now reduced their TARGET PRICE to N8.26k since they are looking for ways to increase their holdings..

Even as today the current market price is N8.35k which is above their fictitious TP grin that tells they are wrong.

Now weekend assignment for OLDBIES & NEWBIES

In 2013 one of UACN cashcow subsidiary called UPDC REIT was listed at N10 per share with market value of N30billion

In 2017 and 2020 another UACN subsidiary called UPDC raised N5b and 15.96b respectively.

In 2018 UACN the parents coy raised N16.2b via a right issue at the rate of N16 per share

Just 2yrs down the lane UACN the parents that has spent 140yrs in Nigeria want to unbundle their 94% shareholding in UPDC and their 65% shareholding in UPDC REITS and split it among their minority shareholders.

Now ask yourself what do you thiink will be the real unit price of UACN per share huh

If asked to choose between integrity and competence, I will choose integrity.

A management with integrity and no competence, will still make money for Investors to an extent.

But a management with competence without integrity , will make us loses our money and the business will become seriously invested.
But last december on treasury bill thread you adviced people to buy UACN at N10

I bought UACN at N7, waiting to have long time and enjoy unbundling

After they released result in January 2019, I quickly sold it at N9, because the figures and unbundling were not convincing to me.

I just japaa, without looking back.

I may look into them after the unbundling with improved profits for at least 2 consistent quaters
Doc you are scared of buying UACN at N7 but you are comfortable buying UPDC REIT that they willl a freebie after UNBUNDLING at N3.50k grin

whether they are going to bust or not, I bought ccnn N16.4 and sold it N41 in January that is what we are talking about.
I had some insignificant units of CCNN which I also sold @ 35 in Jan. That's the definition of BARGAIN HUNTING Whereas some DIVIDEND HUNTERS bought GUINNESS @ N60 last year while it's now N17 and still digging oil.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PETERiCHY(m): 3:51pm On May 18, 2020
talk2me2:
Guy I from the very moment I saw this your post I quickly moved into research about UACN. Here are my findings:

UACN has 2,881,296,580 ordinary shares of 50k each.
UPDC has 18.462billion ordinary shares of 50k each after the right issue.
Accordig to reuters.com UACN now own 93.9% or 17.34 billion shares of UPDC. When UACN unbundles UPDC, the 17.34B shares will be alloted pro rata to the shareholders of uacn i.e 17.34b ÷ 2.88b = 6 shares of updc for 1 share of uacn held.

In addition, UPDCREIT has 2,668,269,500 units of N10 each.
UPDC own 61.5 % or 1,640,985,742 units of UPDCREIT.
And uacn own 93.9% or 1,540,885,611 units of updcreit.
the pro rata means 1.54b ÷ 2.88b = 0.53 unit for 1 share of uacn held. Now let's multiply 0.53 by 2 = 1.06 or 1 unit of updcreit for ever 2 shares of uacn.

SUMMARY
THEREFORE, FOR EVERY TWO SHARES OF UACN THAT SHAREHOLDER HAD THEY WILL RECEIVE ONE UNIT OF 10 NAIRA EACH OF UPDCREIT AND TWELVE SHARES OF UPDC AS BONUS SHARES.

OGA YOUR HEAD IS CORRECT. grin cheesy

I have already made UACN the 65 % of my portfolio, hoping to add more before the unbundlings finally take place in July.

We are making alot of money this year. grin grin grin
UACN has always been a MONEY SPINNER for BARGAIN HUNTERS..
Between NOVEMBER and FEB we did 3 very profitable ROUND TRIPS.

But this time around we wait PATIENTLY for the UNBUNDLING exercise which will take place soonest during their AGM.

It will be the deal of the CENTURY.

Stock brokerage is not that profitable. Imagine Morgan capital despite making 3rd best broker by volume and 9th top broker by value with total value of 750,720,603.74 naira. At 0.5% brokerage fee amounts to just 3.75M naira for the month. They better have other source of income and not only this brokerage thing.
Also, in the data from the NSE, it was revealed that last month, Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers was the best performing brokerage firm by the value of transactions it executed.

Shares worth N15.814 billion were bought and sold through the platform in April 2020,

Morgan Capital transacted N5.616 billion.

https://businesspost.ng/economy/morgan-capital-emerges-most-active-stockbroker-in-april/

Based on the report the value of transaction MORGAN CAPITAL did for the month of April was N5.6 billion and not N750m as you wrote.
