Please, I bought Airtel odu and it was installed on the 11th October, after waiting for a long time. Now the problem is it has never worked or connect to the Internet. Have called Airtel several times and they alway say they are working on it. Now I discovered that the odu casing light has increased from 2 to 4 showing there is now network on it. I also confirmed it on the odu webpage that there is now 4g network on it. The issue now is it still not connecting to the Internet.
I saw that the default apn access on the odu is : m2m.internet
instead of the regular Airtel apn access which is: internet.ng.airtel.com
I tried changing it but it always reset back to the esim apn access.
Does anyone knows how to overwrite the default apn and put Airtel apn access. Thanks

You may be right. To be honest I don't know so much. I have a 1kva transformer inverter that I'm currently using. It was connected so poorly but yet it's so rugged 5 years running. Maybe it's sentiment or fear. I'm just worried that if I use my pumping machine or air fryer the high frequency inverter won't handle it. I was considering Felicity hybrid high frequency but I'm not seeing good reviews as for growatt it looks sophisticated and I'm worried a lot of installers can't program it. Before I started this journey I planned to get felicity products only but now it seems to be the least reliable.

Get your HF inverter, ensure it's protected and enjoy. They've come a long way and it's the future. I have used both LF and HF, anyday am still picking HF. They are equally reliable.
That's my SMS HF inverter delivering loads close to its full rated capacity. Another advantage, they are efficient in inverting DC to AC.

The battery is obviously full from the voltage displayed but it states soc as 92%.
Although it hasnt exceeded 58V before, it used to show the correct percentage in respect to voltage.

Which inverter and battery do you use?

Go with 3x650w, it will save you some cabling. Too much cabling sometimes dey affect efficiency

Well I had 6x 630w Znshine panels installed recently.....I still need to observe before I can conclude on the efficiency of the panels. But for now it's just ok.

We Nigerians praising inverters like Growatt, SRNE etc which are cheap and high frequency shows our shallowness in good solar applications..

Growatt in the west is meant for the poor who can't afford solid inverters and for 80% users they die on them after 18 months or 2 years.

Manufacturers of inverters make it clear to users not to use high frequency inverters for heavy loads. They are not meant for devices with inductive loads like fridge, freezer, pumps, AC. They are not meant for offgrid home applications when you know you'll use the loads. High frequency inverters (without transformers) are for light equipments like lightings, TV, phones, laptop, security cams etc. That's why they are Damn cheaper than low frequency ones. There components are not meant to handle heat for long.

But for us, we will use them with AC, pump, freezer etc and since it's working (of course it'll work), we claim they are the best. But they won't last on the long run.

A low frequency felicity inverter is multiple times better than your highest brand (Deye, Growatt, Tesla) high frequency inverter for offgrid use with heavy loads.

If you are going for offgrid, spend the extra money and get yourself a low frequency transformer based inverter. They are made to withstand heat, dust, heavy loads and harsh environments.

If you need inverter for your office, farm or home, for just light, laptop, TV, printer etc. No need to go for low frequency. Go then for high frequency inverters and save cost

Not entirely true.....High Frequency inverter is the future. Have used both HF and LF inverters and I will pick HF anytime, anyday. HF can power anykind of load including inductive loads.

Efficiency 97% DC to AC conversion stop wasting unnecessary power in conversion. Even 5kwh batteries will last very well.

If you have 5kwh batteries, this will mean you can use 4850wh on the AC side compared to most inverter with 87%, which gives on 4350wh.. a whole 500wh saved..

About 97% .......This is impressive.
After seeing your post, had to check mine. Damn the difference opor.
Mine ranges from 83% to 90%. Poor at low loads but fair a bit when the load is more than 1kw.
I feel the most objective way to check for efficiency is to drain battery from full to LVD and see the cumulative DC energy(Kwh) converted by inverter to usable AC energy (kwh)

That you have hithium for 1.8M....but its pay and wait 3 months.... And option 2 you have EVE for 2.2m pay and pick up now...... You will see that hithium go sell like fire... How many people shop for their whole system at once? Most people buy inverter first.... After some months they come buy battery.... The truth is the average consumer doesn't care about those big names Eve, hithium, Rept etc, as far as the product is affordable and does what it intends to do , He or she is fine. We need more genuine, trusted sellers/manufacturers whether foreign or locally for competitive pricing. this is advantageous in the long run for we consumers, lower cost.
Coke, Pepsi, Fanta are products that serve similar purpose, we shouldn't expect Coke to start tasting like Pepsi. Total 10,280w

Average sustained production per hour when skies are almost clear of clouds is 8,150wh

For batteries:

51.2v x 486ah (the max I am willing to discharge) = 24.8kwh

Bms is Jk with communication board and 2Amp active balancer

Full charge 55v, float at 54.9v

For inverter:

6kw Deye SUN-6K-OG01LP1-EU-AM2.

It use to be a 10.2kw sms, but i have documented my dissatisfaction with it, so I got the Deye instead. Besides, I realised I dont use more than 4kw at a time, and if eventually I will need more than 6kw at a time, I can always parallel the deye with another deye 6kw inverter to get 12kw.

I use same 10.2kw sms inverter, but max capacity based on my testing is 8.2kw. It's capacity is overated. Solar generation too is overated, about 300-400w always dey miss when charging my battery. PV generation is showing 2800w but only 2400w dey enter battery with no load , where the 400w Waka go now. One thing going for it is the inverting efficiency. Compared to my previous inverters, the DC(battery power) to AC output is quite good. I didn't expect a 10kva inverter to be that efficient, it's not a power consuming hog. Even the standby consumption(for me DC conversion efficiency is more important than this as most times our inverters are never idle) isnt that bad, roughly 70w

I've read here that Felicity batteries overstate their capacity but that Valto states the real capacity.

What other issues play in favor of Valto?

I bought 16kwh from him recently. He delivered directly at my doorstep in less than 24hrs.
I did capacity testing on it, was able to pull beyond 316ah from the battery, that was at 48v low voltage disconnect.
He used JK bms on the battery which I later read from reviews its a good and quality bms.
I will give the build quality a 8/10. Quality battery terminals and circuit breaker.
Concerning cycle life, he said it's rept cells with 8000cycle life.
In all, I will recommend if you want genuinely rated battery with good bms
This is based on the battery I bought from him, can't say about other capacities.

Well, I have not fully reviewed these capacity from both Brands, But C-worth 5kwh and 1.28kwh didn't meet my standards for recommendation unless for people on budget who dont mind, I am in different about Felicity, so much rumour about their capacity which i am still curious to test.

Which 15kwh would you recommend based on your experience

Infrared cooker are good too. They cook fast, efficient and you can use any kind of pot on it. That's what I use on my inverter. You can consider one

Hello guys, my 15kwh felicity lithium battery is charging slowly. The first guy that did the connection, did a wrong connection and got my 10kva inverter burnt. I got another inverter (SMS 10.2KW Hybrid inverter) and the new installer corrected the previous connection. But I noticed that the battery now charges slowly despite having high PV from the panels. I’m getting 3.200Watts from the panels but the charging current is 13Amps. I used to see up to 80Amps from similar PV in the previous connection and the battery will be fully charged before 3pm during peak sunlight. But now, even with this scorching sun and without using the battery at all, I barely get 2 bars full by end of day. There’s obviously something wrong with this current connection and the guy is telling me that the BMS in the battery might be bad. I am finding it difficult to believe that. Please any idea what could be wrong? From the little I have read and understand, charging current (amps) also determines how fast a battery charges and I’m see low amperage since this connection.

Select the appropriate battery type on the setting interface and let's see if it improves the situation. Is the battery bms connected to the inverter?

Since you are using lithium battery, see if the bms is connected and change the setting to Lib. I think ~27v is ok for lithium battery

What u got was most likely a relabeled pack. The 10.2kva model is slightly different from what you have

I Had to check online, virtually similar 10.2kva inverters went into overload after 8.2kw. I think it's the default design.

It actually rated 10.2kw(10.2kva with pf=1). had to check online, people complained about same rating issue. It's overated. But for its price, it's a fair bargain
