We are practicing a new way of life:

It takes 21 days to stop a habit, habits mean jobs, jobs mean patronage, patronage means movement, movement means fuel, fuel means crude-oil..

while majority could not do a lot of things during the lockdown, some have decided to not bother going back to them anymore..

E.g I personally learnt to cut my hair during the lockdown, which normally would have taken me 5km every week to visit my barber..

I went ahead to mention some of the worries. One of it is total disregard for the protocols that government has issued which includes social distancing, wearing of mask, personal hygiene, ban on inter state travels. We have just thrown them to the wind.

You claim to share N20,000 to the most vulnerable but could not share free mask of N500, yet complain of non- compliance..

How does a population of 90m living under half a dollar afford personal sanitizers?... but your humanitarian minister has pledged to feed children in their various homes, same homes palliatives could not reach and sanitizers/facemask which are cheaper and more accountable could not get to.

The analysts are predicting from what they can see, but life can take a turn in a blink..

But few things are sure, the world including you and I have learnt new habits in the cause of the pandemic and lockdown.. crude oil would be in less use even when things are assumed back to normal..

so i used to think. With Nigerians it is totally different for example since 1999 every president has had intervention fund for the masses which are always disbursed as at when due but we all know where these funds end up.

Adesina set up a scheme that gets directly to the farmers... "farmers E-wallet"... they are credited directly, no middle man, no subsidiary, no exchanger... straight to the farmer under the sun, in his farm. While he expects a certain amount of produce to be eligible..

Would you harvest another man's crop?. doing that, you have done massive farm work already.. can you believe that scheme has been stopped and middle men have been employed again to restart corruption?..

The right leaders always know what to do.

- Did you provide free facemask?
- Did you provide palliative to reduce the movement?
- Did you reduce fuel competitively to reduce overload of transport vehicles at same income?

There are viable checks to make things work, you have ignored all that but still pass the blame on the people.
