Whereas I am against discrimination and believe that everyone should be giving equal rights or opportunities. There is so much hypocrisy in the world today that I should just leave it out that I stand on a neutral ground on the above issue. We should really understand the different roles in society and appreciate the strength and weakness of both sexes.

WHAT DO MEN AND WOMEN REALLY WANT FROM/IN A RELATIONSHIP?

It could be anything from material or immaterial wants like love, support, companionship or whatever depending on each individual.

You can’t tell definitely but you might notice one or two positive factors you need in a partner

2.Can you tell a husband/wife material just by spending a day/a few hours with them?

You can always see positive signs but not a definite one, you need time and different situations to fully tell if they are the right person.


3.How long do you think a good courtship should last? how long is too long?

No specific time because it is a case by case situation but it should be more than 2+ years.

4.Men/women would you rather be in a 50-50 relationship or have one person play the part of the "head of the home" ?

There is no percentage in a relationship in my opinion, even Adam and eve never practiced such. Relationship is a relationship and each partner gives as much as they can give to the relationship. Both of them becomes one, there are not two separate entities that one has to contribute a certain measure. The part for being the Head of the home belongs to the man in whatever circumstance that may come out during the course of time. This is not a statement of arrogance please, women taking their eyes off this post or any attachment to that position is one the fundamental steps towards a balanced home.

5.Men: Do you think taking money from your GF/wife makes you a lazy person? Especially those in a relationship and not yet married do you really think accepting money from your GF makes you a lesser being?is it right to take money from your GF?

There is absolutely nothing wrong in taking money from your partner and it doesn’t make you a lazy person. It doesn’t make you a lesser human being and I can’t remember of any law that says it is wrong to take money from your gf.


This has been a very nice thread and hope there will be more contributions, seen so many diverse opinions and learned alot.

Sometimes the post is so far behind that you cannot see it in the list of post that you can insert when you scroll down. What you do is that you just copy the post that you want to reply to and post it in the reply page then highlight and click the insert quote button above those forum smileys.

So those are the two ways that you can reply to multiple post with one reply post.

The last instruction is for replying a post that is like an essay and you want to break it down into different post or just that you want to reply a sentence in that post or multiple sentences. The following replies below are how it should look like and i will be making use of your own post.
