Omisore might not be lucky again this time around for these reasons
1. SDP is not fully grounded as a party in Osun
2. The 2 major parties I. e. APC & PDP are seriously considering and prioritising aspirant from OSUN WEST because that zone is considered sidetracked in governance of Osun
3. it will be difficult to defeat the incumbent party in Osun except a strong candidate emerged.
4. The rumour of Bola Ige's death attached to him as always been his major disqualification during campaign and he has always been loosing.
5. The people from Osun Central and West will not vote candidate from East again. Because the incumbent Governor is from East.

Nevertheless, good night be his time for God of politics to smile at him.

Out of the 17 popular aspirant contesting for Osun state Governorship position across all parties in the state, Senator Ademola Adeleke seems to be the leading in term of popularity.

Having won his senatorial seat by winning incumbent APC aspirants , his popularity waxed stronger.
