One Mrs. Ramota Buhari has lamented the death of her husband, Waheed Buhari, who was killed by men, suspected to be militants in Ogun State. The gunmen reportedly invaded Imushin community in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state at the weekend. The assailants believed to be militants were reportedly on a revenge mission. They also shot her 13-year-old daughter, New Telegraph reports. Narrating her ordeal, Ramota said Waheed was shot and killed moments after he stepped out to urinate. The grieving widow said, “I held him and was screaming for help, when I heard that my daughter had also been shot. “My family usually goes to bed earlier than 11pm, but because it was Ramadan and the kids had gone to lecture in one of the mosques, we decided to wait for them. “After my husband had ushered the children in, he stepped out to urinate. What I heard next were loud noise of gunshots. “Waheed fell down and died on the spot,” Mrs Buhari narrated. Scores were alleged to have been killed by the rampaging militants who claimed their colleagues were killed. Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the militants were about 100. He said, “Information from witnesses showed that the hoodlums were militants and they came from the riverine area. But we have not confirmed this, as investigations are ongoing. “We are particularly interested in why they came in such a number. http://dailypost.ng/2016/06/20/how-militants-murdered-my-husband-in-my-presence-mrs-buhari/

What do women really want? Every man whether
married, single, engaged, divorced or a widower had
been forced to asked the question. These are some
of the things every woman wants from a man. #1. A MAN WHO CAN RESPECT HER Respect has to be earned, yes, but unless you truly believe that your woman has some great qualities and is even better than you in some aspects, you can never ever respect her. Learn to respect the woman in your life, and she’ll love you and respect you a lot more too. #2. A MAN WHO CAN TRULY LOVE HER Love is beyond Valentine’s Day hype and noise. It is a daily action not once in a year. Women deeply appreciate men that will truly love them. The love a man invests on a woman that is honest can be returned a thousand fold. #3 . A MAN WHO CAN PROTECT HER Some men spend endless days in gym to tone up their muscles in order to look like an Incredible Hulk before a woman BUT she wants a real man that can protect her not just physically. Women, as independent as they may be, still love to be in the company of a man they can rely upon in and very difficult and dangerous situations. They want to feel protected and taken care of, no matter what the circumstance. #4. A MAN THAT SHE CAN LOOK UP TO A HERO You don’t have to earn billions of Naira (would be great if you could) or win the Nobel Prize, but if you could make a difference in your own small ways, you could be that man. Be a good speaker, a great conversationalist, a great football player, or just about anything else that’s beneficial in your life. As long as your woman is impressed with you for your skills, she’ll brag about it and love you for it! #5. A MAN SHE CAN TRUST AND DEPEND ON A trustworthy man who is dependable is hard to come by, and that’s what makes these men so sought after. It’s not that regular men can’t be dependable or trustworthy; it’s just that they don’t care enough about anything to take things seriously. What women want in a man is dependability. A dependable man doesn’t let down his woman #6. A MAN WHO CAN GROOM HIMSELF What most women want in a man is attractiveness. If you want to be with a woman who’s everything you ever wanted to be physically, you’ve got to do whatever you can to look good for her too.. Dress well and use a few manly cosmetics and rich colognes and perfumes. Talk like a gentleman #7. A MAN WHO IS CLOSE TO GOD Suddenly in our generation, God fearing man, is now needed than very wealthy men. Occult is now a turn off. Women need men that can motivate and inspire them spiritually to be the best in life. He may not be a religious fanatic but a man after God’s own heart that will draw the whole family closer to God... LADIES SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS! As OPEC welcomes timing of nation’s oil outages
Chineme Okafor in Abuja
The Nigerian Petroleum Development Company
(NPDC) has failed to earn up to N60 billion oil
sales revenue in three months due to delay in the
repair of the vandalised Forcados crude oil export
line, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC) has said.
The NDPC is the exploration and production
subsidiary of the NNPC. The corporation disclosed
this in the April 2016 edition of its monthly
operations and financial report which was released
last week.
It maintained that up till now, the export line, which
was vandalised in February with 300,000 barrels per
day (bpd) of crude oil production deferred, was still
down, three months after.
The Shell Petroleum Development Company of
Nigeria Limited (SPDC) had on February 21 2016,
declared a force majeure on oil liftings from
Forcados following the February 14, 2016 disruption
in terminal’s subsea crude export pipeline.
But following from NNPC’s disclosure in its latest
publication that NPDC was still unable to earn N20
billion monthly oil income because of the
development, in addition to the last two
publications for February and March which THISDAY
reviewed, it was discovered that NPDC may have
cumulatively lost N60 billion within the three
months.
In February, NNPC said in the report: “The huge
deficit in the month of February 2016 was due to
production shut-in occasioned by vandalism of
Forcados export line. This situation denied NPDC
the opportunity to earn revenue from crude oil sales
of about ₦20 billion.”
In March, it stated: “Following the recent
declaration of force majeure by SPDC due to
vandalisation of 48 inch Forcados export line
resulted in production shut-in of about 300,000bpd.
This adversely impacted on nation’s February 2016
production leading to a loss of about N20 billion of
NPDC oil revenue.”
And in April, it explained: “NPDC’s crude sale for
the month is still hampered by Forcados pipeline
vandalism which continued to deny NPDC of
monthly crude oil revenue of about ₦20 billion.” I think , they have lost more than this. |

PRESS STATEMENT The high command of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) is using this medium to restate that there are no new items to put on the table for dialogue, we only want a genuine attitude and conducive atmosphere that will make us commit to any proposed dialogue and last peace talk. We want the federal government to commit members states of the multi national Oil Corporations to commit independent mediators to this proposed dialogue; we believed that it is only such environment that will engender genuine dialogue that will be aimed at setting up a framework for achieving the short, medium and long term demands of the Niger delta to de-escalating this conflict and bring about a lasting peace. The NDA high command is restating our commitment to attack the interest of oil corporation and international refineries operators that bring in vessels to the Niger delta territory to buy our oil that every successive government have refused to used and reapply the proceeds towards any development in the region since 1958. If they refuse be heed to our advice will result to sinking of two their mother vessel as an examples to others They should not undertake any repair of pipeline, oil and gas facilities that is damaged or attacked by our forces during this period of “Operation Red Economy” until and/or after the dialogue. We are using medium to warn and condemn the activities of all brands of social media agitators being peddled around by some politicians to promote their criminal ways in affairs of the Niger Delta. This genuine spirit behind our struggle for the Niger Delta cannot be derailed on the basis of connivance by politician, traditional rulers, settled ex- agitators and criminals moving around to fill their pockets. The issues of the Niger delta are as old and as new as the days of Pa. Dappa Biriye, Major Jasper Isaac Adaka Boro, to Ken Saro Wiwa and the government of President Musa Yar’ Adua. We are warning this government of President muhammadu Buhari, not to turn the essence of genuine peace talk and dialogue to political jamboree that is prevailing now where all manner of social media agitators and criminals have being sponsored by the job seeking corrupt political class to safe faces before the government of the day. Finally, if need be we may review our earlier stance of not taking lives. We are going to redirect and reactivate all our activities if the government, oil companies and their services firms don’t heed to these modest warnings of not carrying out any repairs works and suspend the buying of crude oil from our region as we await the right atmosphere that will engender genuine dialogue “ We Want a peace with Honour not a Peace of our time” Thanks Brig.
