Leadership style I wish to emulate! Muamar Gaddafi's Prophecies: "I will not go into exile to any foreign country. I was born here in Libya, and I will die here. This country was a dessert, and I turned it into a forest, where everything can grow. No one Love this land more more than its citizens. If Europe and America tells you that they love you, be careful. They love the wealth of your land. The oil and not the people. They are helping you to fight against me but, it will be more wise for you to fight against them because they are fighting against your future and progress. My message to you the people of Libya is, they are helping you to kill me but you will pay the price because you will suffer. And my message to you America and Europe is, you will kill me, but be ready to fight a never ending TERRORISM. Before you realise your ignorance, terrorists will be hitting you at your doorstep." GADDAFI once told the Nigerian and British governments to divide Nigeria into two, so that the Hausa/Fulani (Moslems), Yoruba (Christians) and Biafrans/Igbo, can live as neighbouring countries. It's good we look at these 16 REAL REASONS WHY COL. GADDAFI WAS KILLED: 1. There is no electricity bill in Libya, electricity is free for all its citizens. 2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens are at a 0% interest by law. 3. Home is considered a human right in Libya. Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. 4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinars (US$50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment. 5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi, only 25% of Libyans were literates. Today, the figure stands at 83%. 6. Libyans taking up farming as a career, they received farm land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free. 7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they needed in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad for it. 8. In Gaddafi's Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price. 9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter. 10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally. 11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found. 12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens. 13. A mother who gave birth to a child under Gaddafi, received US $5,000 as child benefit upfront. 14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15 15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree 16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man- Made River Project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country. If this is called "Dictatorship", I wonder what type of Leadership Democrats have!! Source: NigeriaCamera

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has garnered over one million registrations in advance of its September 1st flash sale Samsung set off what might have been the world record for drooling earlier this month when the company confirmed that a version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage is real . Unfortunately for most of the world, the manufacturer said that the device with those specs would be offered in China only. While Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 today in China, the only model that was introduced contained the same 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory that the rest of the world has inside their version of the phone. Just as it did with the Chinese version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge , the Galaxy Note 7 is powered in the country by the Snapdragon 820 chipset. Sammy's 2016 high-end models pack the Exynos 8890 SoC everywhere but the U.S. and China. In those two countries, the top-of-the-line handsets carry a quad-core CPU (albeit with Qualcomm's own Kryo cores) and the Adreno 530 GPU. With the base model priced at the equivalent of $898 USD, registrations run from now through September 1st. These non-binding registrations don't require any money to change hands as the high-end phablet heads towards its initial flash sale, which will be held on the same day. As you can imagine, demand for the Galaxy Note 7 is extremely high with over one million registrations received just two hours after the phone was unveiled. http://www.firmtech1.com/2016/08/samsung-galaxy-note-7-is-unveiled-in_26.html?m=0

Police have arrested and charged two semi- naked women for having sex in a park. Exeter Crown Court heard the two drunk women were found at Pilton Park in Barnstaple on the ground and performing sex acts on each other. 31-year-old Martina Loosemore and Anita Hare, 45, both of Barnstaple, North Devon, admitted outraging public decency. The judge, Phillip Wassall, will be sentencing Hare next month while Loosemore’s sentencing was deferred for three months. The judge told Loosemore he was delaying her sentence to give her a chance to work on her alcohol problem. Witnesses said they were shocked and disgusted by the indecency displayed by the women and children were present nearby. Two police officers who arrived said they observed them practicing the lewd act. http://punchng.com/police-arrest-two-women-sex-public-park/ |

Guy above me check off. This is a recent discovery |
Here is an account of the disclosure of Goliath’s skull in a valley at the western piece of Jerusalem, the Israeli capital with the stone (from David’s sling) still stuck on the brow. Trust all of you recall the narrative of the CHALLENGE BOUT amongst David and Goliath in the Bible? Beyond any doubt all of you do Smiley This startling disclosure was made at some point prior by a main classicist, Dr Richard Martin who says it demonstrates that David’s fight with the 10-foot monster truly happened simply like the Bible said it did. He marked it the “archeological finding of the century, if not of all time”.Back then, at a news gathering in Jerusalem, he had told journalists: “Numerous individuals including researchers and ministers would have us trust that the scriptural record of David and Goliath is minimal more than a fascinating bit of fiction. “Be that as it may, we discovered this skull in the valley of Elah, in the foothill of the Judean Mountains, where David’s fight with Goliath was said to have occurred. Much additionally interesting, the skull is colossal and obviously had a place with a man of huge stature. What’s more, on the off chance that you trust the Bible, you realize that Goliath stood nine-feet shoulders tall. “In any case, most telling bit of confirmation is the little round rock we discovered inserted in the temple. The Bible lets us know that David executed Goliath with a stone flung from a cowhide sling. It may be – however I don’t think so.”Martin found the skull amid a routine archaelogical review around 20 miles southwest of Jerusalem. He and his aides in a flash understood that the find was vital. It was not until they performed tests that demonstrated the skull to be somewhere around 2,900 and 3,000 years of age that they had really found the remaining parts of Goliath. As per the Bible, the fight amongst David and Goliath happened around 900B.C or 1000 years before the introduction of Jesus Christ. The Bible lets us know that the fight started as a band of Israelites were get ready to battle a band of Philistines on the valley of Elah. By then ever, it was normal for adversaries to maintain a strategic distance from monstrous setbacks by permitting one man from every side to battle for their individual armed forces. To cite the Bible, the Philistines Goliath tested the Israelites to “pick a man and let him come to me. On the off chance that he can battle with me and murder me, then we will be your hirelings. Be that as it may, in the event that I win and murder him, then you might serve us”. David responded to the call and murdered Goliath with a solitary stone tossed from a calfskin sling. At the point when Goliath hit the ground, David slashed off his head with Goliath’s own particular sword. Dr Martin affirmed that the skull he saw had a stone stuck in the temple. “There was likewise confirmation to recommend that the head had been disjoined from the body by a sharp question, in all likelihood a sword. I realize that the confirmation is conditional yet when you set up it all together, there can be little uncertainty this is Goliath’s skull. Cutting straight to the chase, I’m staking my vocation on it,” he said. While scriptural researchers and different specialists consider the implications of Dr Martin’s report, the classicist himself is wanting to come back to the site to look for different relics. “Goliath was wearing a protective cap and layer of mail when he was killed by David and we might want just to discover them,” he included. see more photos here http://www.firmtech1.com/2016/08/wonder-biblical-goliath-skull-found-in.html?m=0

A medical expert in Dentistry in Ilorin, has warned that using toothpick to remove food remnant from teeth could harm the teeth and gums. Speaking exclusively with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Ilorin, Dr. Alatishe Muhammad, an expert in Dentistry, has warned that using toothpick to remove food remnant from teeth could harm the teeth and gums. The medical practitioner who said that what was medically recommended was cleaning between the teeth at least once a day, using an interdental cleaner such as floss, adding that a toothpick was not considered as an interdental cleaner, and as such it was not recommended for cleaning teeth. “Using a toothpick is not an ideal way to remove something stuck between your teeth. Toothpicks can cause abrasion and damage to your teeth at the base where they meet the gums. This can lead to gum disease and other dental problems,” he said. Muhammad said that preventive dentistry was the modern ways of helping individuals keep a healthy mouth, adding that preventive dentistry helped keep the teeth healthy, leaving people with less of dental treatment. “Every age group can benefit from preventive dentistry, including the very elderly, the very young ones and also those without teeth where mouth cancer and denture stomatitis can be prevented.” According to the medical expert who further advised people on the need to eat healthily through consumption of fruits, vegetables, adequate nutrition, diet and less sugary substances; “Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption, ingestion of fizzy and acidic drinks with straw is better than alcohol.” According to him, brushing of teeth should be done at other times during the day and also last thing at night. He advised people against visiting traditional homes to remove fictitious worms from the mouth, adding that such method made people to fall victims and incur more harm than good. The dentist also urged people to embark on regular checkups in approved dental clinics every three months and cleaning of teeth every six months. http://www.firmtech1.com/2016/08/how-use-of-toothpick-causes-harm-to.html?m=1

It has only been a month since I last wrote about Nigeria possibly slipping into a recession, but I decided to revisit the country because of all the negative news emanating from there. The question I had asked in my earlier article was whether Nigeria was heading into an economic recession. The question has now been answered, and it is a resounding yes! News website TheCable published an article titled, “Nigeria’s economic recession may be long and deep, says Peterside.” The article states that Atedo Peterside, vice chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, believes the recession may be due to “low investor confidence.” As with most countries that have relied heavily on one commodity, in this case oil, when creating their budgets they did so based on oil priced at $100 per barrel. But those numbers have never been adjusted, and consequently at $40 a barrel they find themselves struggling. The Nigerian website Vanguard shows an article titled, “Guild of Editors calls for diversification of Nigeria’s economy.” The author quotes the group as saying that there is an urgent need to diversify the economy and suggests that agriculture could be a viable option. As an aside, “The guild also lamented the decline in the quality of journalism practice and non-adherence to the ethics of the profession and called on editors to make efforts to redress the situation in their organisations.” Surely this problem doesn’t exist solely in Nigeria. Recently the Nigerian Finance Minister admitted that the country was technically in a recession, but didn’t want to sound the alarm bells. The IMF made some dire predictions stating that in 2016 GDP growth would come in at a -1.8%, but this was after the esteemed body, in April of this year, had indicated that the Nigerian economy would expand by 2.3%. The turn of events, the IMF said, “economic activity is now projected to contract as the economy adjusts to foreign currency shortages as a result of lower oil receipts, low power generation, and weak investor confidence.” As if all this wasn’t bad enough, MSCI has recently suggested that they may exclude the Nigerian index from the frontier market index when they convene in September. If they do, then the exclusion would take effect in November. Additionally, the currency, the Naira, was pegged to the U.S. dollar dating back to January 2015 and was trading at an artificially low rate of 200 to the USD. At the end of June 2016, the Naira was permitted to fully float and immediately devalued dramatically to where it is now trading at nearly 400 to the dollar. To make matters even worse, the Central Bank raised its benchmark interest rate 200 bps to 14%. So none of the economic news coming out of Nigeria is positive right now and I don’t believe it will be for quite some time. Even though agriculture may be a good diversifier, it will take time to implement. In my opinion, stay clear of Nigeria to at least the end of the year when some of the dust will have settled and we will have a better idea of the country’s future growth. The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has reminded the president, Muhammadu Buhari that his approach to government should factor in the present democratic dispensation in the country. The traditional ruler advised the president against his ‘military man’ approach to government adding that Buhari needs to be civil in his approach to matters. Oba Akiolu made this known on Monday during the unveiling of SunTrust Bank Limited, the first commercial bank to be licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 15 years. The Oba said: “All of us just have to support the President and I advise him to know that he is no more a military man. Oba Akiolu further said: “The measures they are taking on the rot of the past, honestly whether they like it or not, it was not totally the fault of former President Goodluck Jonathan. “I don’t hide the fact that he (Jonathan) is my personal friend. All that happened was not totally his fault. “But it is not too late to make amend. With Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as head of economic team, with people like Mrs. Nike Akande as the President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others, they (the federal government) should listen to advice from people in commercial sector of the economy.” http://www.herald.ng/this-is-not-the-military-era-oba-akiolu-to-buhari/?utm_source=nnd&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=nnd
