The one that I will have peace of mind and joy and happiness and love and progress throughout my life of staying with him.

Making inquiry of GOD has always been the best way of knowing and finding the right partner.
Looks can be deceiving.
Words and promises can be broken.
But whoever GOD confirms is the best choice always without regrets even though, normally, there are bound to be misunderstandings as humans, but there will always be a peaceful reconciliation and not separation nor extremism.

Keep and save yourself off unnecessary heartbreaks.

It's all about maturity, he should be mature enough to handle personal issues, without allowing it frustrate his partners emotions. He is supposed to gain strength calling his partner and hearing her voice. Withdrawing and refusing to call is childish if he is having issues.
