WARRI — POLICE at Orerokpe, Delta State, have arrested a suspected cultist, simply called Monday, for allegedly raping and impregnating a seven-year-old girl (names withheld). Vanguard learnt that the girl was living with her 27-year-old aunt, Destiny, in Ometa village, where Monday allegedly had carnal knowledge of her. It was gathered that the victim fell sick after the incident but Destiny did not suspect it was as result of pregnancy until she alerted the child’s mother, a widow, who said she should be taken to the hospital. The young child was taken to a clinic where a pelvic scan conducted on her confirmed she was pregnant. Some of d above drugs e.g ibuprofen is a NSAID's( non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs), they are not mainly painkillers per say, they r to reduce inflammation and shd b taken wiv care. If u knw their side effects u'll dislike 'em. For example, Ibuprofen causes ulcer and itz not to be used by everybody. So I'll advise u to take her to a gynaecologist for proper care. 1 Like |

A 40-year old man has been arrested by men of the Ogun State police command for allegedly hiring two men to rape his younger sisters in Ijebu Ososa in Odogbolu Local Govt area of the state. The suspect was said to have been arrested with the allegedly two paid rapists after they had raped and robbed the ladies who were 16 and 18 years old. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Miyiwa Adejobi disclosed this yesterday adding that the alleged rapists were paid the sum of #80,000 before they committed the act. He said that " the two other persons arrested with the 40-year-old man were those who eventually raped and robbed the sisters. Ijaw leader and former Information Minister Chief Edwin Clark remarries at 86 to Dr Bisola Sodipo Ijaw Leader and former Information Minister, Chief Edwin Clark remarried last week Sunday March 17th at the age of 86. Today is actually is 86th birthday. Happy birthday, sir! Back to the story. Chief Clark married well known medical doctor, Dr Abisola Sodipe Akindeko. The wedding ceremony took place at his home in Apapa and another one at the bride’shome at Okupe Estate in Maryland. Dr Abisola Akindeko is the former best friend of Iyabo Obasanjo who lost two of her childrenin an assassination attempt on Iyabo Obasanjo’s life. Dr Abisola’s children were riding in Iyabo’s car when it was attacked by hired assassins in 2003. The gunmen, thinking Iyabo was in the car, shot into the carkilling the two children instantly. Iyabo and DrAbisola had been riding in the doctors car, while the children rode in Iyabo’s car. It was a huge story back then.
