Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Ikeja Electric Young Engineers Program Apptitued Test Invite by PhilipGallagher(m): 4:32am On Jan 10, 2019 |
Pato5: Pls what's the pay like. I already got an offer from union bank. I want to know if I should just face the union bank or still go ahead with the interview with IE next week In my own personal opinion. Since you have gotten union bank already, secure that job. But still continue with the IE recruitment process. It also depends on your passion. If you really want to practice core power systems then IE is the best disco you can work for in Nigeria. As regards pay, i really can't say but IE pays all their graduate entry above 120k (including ESR). YEP should be slightly above that. But don't look at the initial pay. After your program alot of responsibility is placed on your shoulders and the pay increases. As YEP you've got great prospect. Secure your union bank job, and resume there. If you get IE and you like the offer and "terms of service", then cool. If not you have something good already. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Ikeja Electric Young Engineers Program Apptitued Test Invite by PhilipGallagher(m): 10:25pm On Jan 09, 2019 |
destiboy: What should we expect from the interview? You all should check this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2187430/ikeja-electric-electricity-sales-representatives/27Read from page 28 or so. Basically expect about 3 interview stages, plus the aptitude test stage making it 4 stages. The final interview is usually with the C-suite guys. For your 1st interview expect some technical questions, nothing too difficult but know your basics. They might ask you funny questions like what is electricity. Know your normal HR questions too. Nothing too hard. A good number of people will scale through this stage. The 2nd stage is more with the HR guys and this is the crucial stage. Expect anything at this stage. Final stage is with the CEO and C-level executives. After this is medicals and hopefully offer letter. N.B some people still don't get offer leters even after passing medicals. Sometimes they waitlist people. So be prayerful. Pay is good, opportunity to learn is good as well, prospect for growth is also good as a YEP. This is one of the best ways to enter IE unless you are coming straight from the parent coy. Also check the previous Sahara GEP thread too for more insights. All the best |

Following... nice thread. One of the most popular questions regarding Data Science has been "How/Where Do I Start" considering Data Science is so broad and one would require a large set of skills before you can confidently call yourself a Data scientist. I'd love your opinion on this. Or better still it would be nice if you could share with us how you started

Hepataitis B is quite dangerous. And one can have the virus without showing symptoms for years and live well and healthy. Vaccination is the best. The vaccination process can also be scary, sha don't miss any of your dose. Espcially the second dose. I don't think there is a cure but it can be managed. This shit gave me scares during one job medicals like that, that year. |
